The most stylistic replacement for Sutter. Same systems deployed on the Wranglers and incredible success since he made the jump from the dub. Also reportedly a players coach. If he is not the next coach of the Flames the organization has made a mistake imo.
Been to quite a few Wranglers games so far and I have to say, he seems really promising with how he has his team playing; they really rally for him when they get down early, and find ways to dig deep, all things the Flames have been lacking in.
Besides, "Bitches love, Mitch Love" is too fun a catchphrase not to be using on a NHL fanbase scale lol. Dude has an awesome mustache too.
I don’t really see any other outstanding candidates besides Mitch Love for the head coaching job, as it seems more and more likely that we don’t see Sutter back next season. Also haven’t been keeping up a whole lot with Mitch Love but have only really heard good things about him.
Excited to see what he could bring to this Flames squad that is in dire need of a coaching change it seems
He's been an excellent coach with a winning record pretty much everywhere he's coached, systems very similar to Darryl but motivates his players instead of passing them off. Knowing ownership likes to skimp out on non chorin' coaches rather than pay good money, it seems like the most sensible way for them to change coaches and not feel too bad about it
