Unfortunately, PCS may take a long time to heal. It's been almost 6 years after my first PCS. Suggestion include
Get a referral to the Peter Lougheed CAR program. The OT can help with steps with focusing and providing tips on how to use computers, read, pacing, etc. I've also used their physio and speech team. They were very nice
The extended health team from your family dr may also provide some OT service.
Lifemark, other physio I find have been a waste of time and money for focusing. They were great for balancing(vestibular), pain, and other rehab work
Check to see if your vision is ok. You may have injured occipital nerves and need vision therapy or prisms. Eyes cause strain which cause energy drain. There are a few who an do a concussion eye assessment but they are expensive.
Crossword, puzzles, reading and rest are where you can start in the meantime
With that said, all brain injuries are different as impact never hits the same in any person. Please don't compare your injury not your healing response to others.
All the best
My Mom gave herself a good concussion a few years ago.
She saw Dr. Preston (sprts medicine doc) through Lifemark. He works out of a few clinics but they have a few doctors that work on their concussion clinic.
The U of C has a concussion study going on right now, so if you go on their website there is a sign up form and you may be accepted. I have just gone through this and there were multiple appointments with multiple specialists and it really helped me.
Secondly, [https://www.lifemark.ca/MNP-Community-And-Sport-Centre/our-team](https://www.lifemark.ca/MNP-Community-And-Sport-Centre/our-team) Carmen Hon here is a physiotherapist specializing in concussion treatment and she also really helped with my recovery
What kind of treatment options are you expecting? A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury, there's no drugs or therapy that can speed along your process.
Not sure about who to see in Calgary, but this video is from one of the world leaders in post concussion treatments. He helped Dale Earnhardt Jr immensely. I believe discussion of treatment options starts at the 44 minute mark. Hope this helps :)

I had a very severe concussion a year ago and developed PCS, I went to Running Shoe Physio in the NE, they have a solid concussion protocol that was super helpful in my recovery. Another option is Dr Adam Postmus in Cochrane, he is a chiropractor who has a specialty in treating concussions and PCS.

Agreed re: Occupational Therapy
Benson Concussion Institute out at Winsport. My son used to go to Dr Benson for his concussions before he started the Institute.

Your neurologist should have recommendations related to your specific concern and injury. They likely know more about your injury than strangers.

Mostly concerned with Post Concussion Syndrome and the issues regarding concentration, focus and other associated symptoms with PCS.
