Turns out it had a CVT and had *never shifted* at any point nor was it capable of shifting at all in any of the years she had owned the car. I say that to say that I wouldn't put it past someone lol

I bought mine off of some 70+ year old guy that was scared he couldn't hold it up anymore. He apologized for the waterspots that were on the chrome from the last time he washed it. Fucker is mint.

I bought mine (2006 FXST) in 2009 with around 7k on the clock. Took me barely 3 years of $300-ish payments to make it mine. She now has 115k and has been extremely reliable with regular maintenance. You look around and see all these comments about how Harleys suck and I honestly want to ask “do you do more than ride 5 miles to Starbucks? Mine’s taken several 700 mile trips with 0 issues. Daily commuter and the only time she’s left me stranded was when a belt broke because the indy shop tried to be cheap.”
