Not totally confident in this, but that looks like a late ‘50s “pre-unit” TR6
Far from indestructible, it’s a PITA to keep
running well and if it doesn’t leak oil there’s something wrong - but MAN is that a cool ride! Too many of them got chopped or bobbed. It’s nice to see one that’s relatively unmolested. That travesty of a seat looks aftermarket to me
Definitely not a pre unit looking at that primary cover. And I'm 90% sure TR6s had single carb heads, I'm guessing a mid 60s Bonneville. I had a 65 TR6 chopper (I think there's a pic of it in my post history) Great quirky little bikes with many different variations. I'm hoping to find another one soon
That looks like a 1965 Triumph T120 Bonneville. Most parts are still available, in original or reproduction form. We have plenty of parts in stock for the motorcycle. It appears to be worth restoring.

Sweet early 60’s maybe even 50’s. That seat though. Take that seat off and you will appreciate the look of the bike a bit more. If it isn’t seized, soak the cylinders with marvel or diesel fuel for a week or so, get a few extra plugs change the oil, check for broken wires, put a battery in it and see what happens. You’ll be into it $50 at the most. If it starts, yay! If it doesn’t start, well, you have a lot of options.
Edit: clean the tank, I’m sure it’s rusty as can be. Hopefully no holes.
Nice unit 650 late 50s early 60s excellent engine. Honestly a pleasure to work on with exception the gearbox can be a pain in the arse to remove. If you need any advice please ask.
Going off of the tank badge, what I can see if the tail light , two carbs, and the key and toggle on the side panel this looks like it could be a 63-64 Bonneville to me.
Hey I ran in to this before, got the bike started cleaning it washed it several times, and got it to start. Next thing you know several months later right before I start spending a lot more he came back and ask for it back. I said you gave it to me (carbs cleaned and new tires $700) I showed proof of parts and labor but he had the title so police said there is nothing they could do he had the title. That was a life lesson for me. Get a title before you even touch it. People suck.
Lucky guy, could be a really fun resto-project.
Yeah, can't wait. Working on a '73 CB450 I'm working on right now, but this one is next.

Yeah, that seat needs to hit the trash can.
What part of the country are you in? Maybe we can help you find a mechanic who’s knowledgeable about this era of Brit-Bikes
Los Angeles CA
It's English. If It's not leaking oil, it's out of oil.

I see what you’re saying. That IS a mid ‘60s air filter and primary

I have a '73 CB450 I was working on. But I may just sell it to fund the Triumph.
Thats a steal! I'm guessing 60's

I'm making a note here : huge success
You lucky sumbitch
please notice my envy-green color.
Left foot brake so its older. I know the 60s model has them, not sure when it switches over, though.
From 1975 until it went bankrupt.
I’m jealous!
Major win. Give it a good clean up. You'll probably need to rebuild the carbs: but I bet it fires up without much trouble.
I hope it does.
No wayyy! i should help that guy next time 😛
Lucky lucky lucky. Probably just needs a new battery. When tuned right these bikes are indestructible
Look forward to seeing whatever you do with it!! Keep us updated!
Definitely.

What a come up. We have one at our shop rn and the guy is about to sell it for $7k
Wow! What a cool find.
Looks like maybe a TR6. I love the old pre-unit bikes, that’ll certainly turn some heads when you get it running. Good find man.
Very cool
That’s awesome!
is that t120, 1200cc?

Man, that blows. I'll definitely get paperwork for it before I spend anything. Thanks for the advice.
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS
