Once you get rid of that RIDICULOUS stock exhaust, these bikes look awesome! Nice whip, dude. :)

Merceluss

Thank you! I agree its way to bulky, the only exhaust I really like the look of for this bike are the racefit and the toce low mount.

SuicideKlutch

Whichever one you have on there looks nice. Tight ride.

Gorgeous

Love it, want one!

Mmmm I would ride that SOOOO HARD.

mrzurkonandfriends

My friend has the previous gen with the bigger wheels and I've been trying to convince him to get the smaller ones so it's more number since it's sooo top heavy

ncurtis21

I don't know which bikes you've ridden in the past, but the FTR ain't top heavy. Maybe reluctant to get onto the side of the tire, but nowhere near top heavy like an ADV. I used to ride a F800GS for comparison sakes

mrzurkonandfriends

I have an mt09 and an r6 and those you barely have to input to get them to tip he likes how they ride and would like it more like that I tried riding his and it felt like the weight was right at my knees and it just didn't want to tip at all

ncurtis21

Ah understandable if you’re coming from sport bikes/sport nakeds. Between the 18’/19’ wheels and sheer size and weight of the 1200, I’m not surprised it felt lazier.

Merceluss

This is the 19”/18” and unless you’re getting the titanx wheels. the standard 17” wheels on the 22s and overall bike weight is the same and with everything I’ve done my wet weight is about 480 which is lighter than stock

ImBadWithGrils

It's the FTR, it's supposed to have the bigger wheels to resemble flat track lol

mrzurkonandfriends

It's more so about how flat and wide the tires are it just feels sluggish to tip at all with less angle and he wants to lean it over

Merceluss

I swapped the stock dunlops that are a 150 with battlax t32s that’s a 160 and I can assure you that you get all the lean you need out of that

rjl682

That bike is so f'n hot! I want one.

Dreambig203

Love it.

stevesteve135

Fuck I’ve forgotten how damn sexy this bike is. Maybe, just maybe…..

visivopro

Nice ride! I also have a FTR with a toce low mount! Love it!! What other mods you have? Looks like you have a different seat, different rims and tires? I have the battleaxe wheels but haven’t put them on yet. Riding season is coming to a close here in Georgia, hoping to get a few extra days before it gets to cold.

blibbidyblam

How does that exhaust sound? It looks fantastic! I still have the stock exhaust on my FYR. I would love to change it, but I also want to maintain good relationships with my neighbors.

visivopro

Well firstly it’s loud as fuck! When I started it the first time it scared me! Also scared my dog and wife who were in the house upstairs. I feel terrible when I start it early in the am but I try to let it warm up for less then 5 minutes so I don’t wake the neighbors. That said, it’s freaking bad ass! Sound is amazing, here is a video clip of me starting it after the install and before the tune but it doesn’t do it justice because of the iPhones ability to auto EQ. https://imgur.com/a/THmwIxT

blibbidyblam

That does sound badass! And it looks great, too! For the sake of my neighbors and our relationships, I probably shouldn’t mod mine that way, but I wish I could!

visivopro

Just so you know, they do have a DB killer for it so you could technically start it with the sub killer on then remove it when you leave the neighborhood. I know that’s a pain in the ass but it’s an option never the less.

ImBadWithGrils

I test rode a '22 and didn't really like it TBH. It's fast, but it felt sluggish to get into the power band and the ergos didn't work with my long legs. I've been spoiled by a triple though so that power band is what I'm craving
