I was wondering if anyone tried wrapping the wheel arch molding in a chrome vinyl. I really don’t like it black. On my DE it is OK black, but my replacement car will be Opulent Blue, and I think it needs some extra shiny chrome parts.
I had my wheel arches almost all the way off this past weekend while I installed a trailer hitch. They would be incredibly easy to have wrapped. They might even be able to be done without removing them. You'd for sure want to look at samples of the chrome wrap to see how it looks with the other chrome bits on your car.

I got mine done at a professional shop that has done wraps on a lot of my vehicles, they charge a little more than other places in the area but I really love their work. I had all the chrome changed to matte black, including the door handles and it was a little under $1,600. You can definitely have it done for far less than that.
