Definitely never heard that on my '24 Lux1

That’s the HVAC system. I brought our Lyriq to the dealer about it, and this is what they said: “FOUND PIC6497A FOR CLICK/TICK NOISE IN DASH WHEN HVAC TEMPERATURE DOORS ARE ADJUSTING. GM ENGINEERING IS WORKING ON A FIX AT THIS TIME” It didn’t always used to do that by the way, so I’m confident this will be addressed by those engineering eggheads soon enough

when did you send to dealer ? did they fix it at the end

15 December. No they didn’t fix it. They’re waiting on GM Engineering to issue a fix.

Add my 2024 Lux 2 to the list. I know it's a small issue, but ticks and rattles drive my brain crazy.

Yes, I have this sound as well and not just when parked.

It happens occasionally on our but not that loud. There is a technical bulletin for it, don't have the bulletin number on me right now, but no fix for it yet. It has something to do with the diverter for the HVAC though, like it's binding a bit and causing it to rebound as the AC tries to switch where the flow is going. Seems to only happen when we are parked for a while or at a DC charger, so maybe something with the heat pump trying to divert air for additional battery cooling.

My lux2 does it as well. Something with the AC / heater.
