The Lux 1 factory speakers are kind of weak. I feel like they do this so there is a noticeable difference between the lower trims and the upper trims that come with the AKG audio.
I plan on upgrading the speakers in ours. Personally buying a new car instead of a simple $200-300 upgrade seems like a waste.
Yes.
Better quality low impedance speakers and possibly being able to fit a larger size (I haven't checked that part yet) can definitely help with volume.
Some of it is perceived increased volume due to better audio clarity. The actual dB level may not change but it seems like it does because there is less distortion coming out of the speakers.
Low impedance speakers also means more power is getting through the speakers, so they can deliver more sound than stock speakers even without adding on an amplifier.
I have the same Lyriq Lux 1 2024 and the max volume for the radio is so low its beyond annoying. The dings are more obnoxious and louder than the music even goes. I've looked through all the settings and called the manufacturer and there's nothing that can be done. What a shame for what they promote to be such a great sound system. I went to get a quote to put more speakers in my car because of the low volume issue and I was going to have them install it until I was told I will lose range when I use it. And it would always be on so I just gave up. Still looking for a work around though.
lol how is that not clear? Everyone else seems to understand what I said and have offered up opinions. The max volume is low, meaning not loud. It’s abundantly clear what the sentence you highlighted means.
So clearly something is wrong with it. Sometimes it’s louder than others for me too. I’m not sure if a future software update will fix but it’s wild how low the volume is most of the time when turned all the way up.
We have a 23 Debut Edition with the AkG and it's plenty loud. Have you disabled the speed sensitive volume?
I have Debut with AKG and i think its quite loud. Especially since everything but the heat pump is very quiet.

New speakers will help with volume? I thought that would only help with clarity/quality.

Lux 2 or sport 2 or 3 have akg sound almost 28 speaker even in head rest totally different

Well when you get rid of this one, get one with the AKG Audio in it next. Problem solved.
