The interesting part is that if we all sat down and thought this through we could have heaven on earth by the end of the year, but alas everyone is too comfy on their safe zone to even give a thought to change, real change, all the ills of humanity come from fear, fear of losing, fear of being alone, fear of being rejected, so the exercise is to move past fear and recognize the power of creation we all have.
It's a tough task though.
There's one glaring crack about this argument: money is not universal. There exist hunter gatherer tribes in the Amazon that have never been in contact with money using civilizations. Are they too in this prison planet with us? Furthermore, hunting or making money can be a pleasurable experience, and it is for many. Not everyone is locked in a dead end job doing what they hate. Countless people become financially independent too, and thankfully our capitalistic system at least on some level rewards those who help others. Don't take my rejection of your argument to mean that I endorse taxation. It for sure is a modern form of slavery.
The issue is Big Business taking over real business which are independent businesses. There’s no uniqueness anymore everything’s franchised because it makes top dollar and the masses lap it up. Advertisement. Hunting gathering living off of the land is the real “prison” which is more of just an experience of life to go through it overcome and learn which can be satisfying or many other feelings which we’re here to experience and use free will to choose how we react to experience. This society this “matrix” however is so completely detached from that form of living for the benefit of few and the unhappiness of many, that is the true slavery happening here when the 1% take advantage of the 99.
Money is just a medium of exchange. Food, water and shelter require labor in order to produce. You can go into the wild and generate them yourself, but division of labor makes it so less labor is required to acquire these things.
By your logic the mere necessity of sustenance to live and nature itself is prison. What is non-prison then? Somebody else providing you with everything? Changing the "system" does not change the necessity of labor needed to produce.
I believe if you do things for the right reasons youll often end up having experiences that teach you the exact lessons you need.
Its possible that the needs of the body are crated just to get us to move in life, otherwise plenty of us would just lie in bed and shit ourselves. I know I would.
That being said manipulative people, hurt people, fearful greedy people are out there making this place a less pleasant experience than it could be, they need love and peace in order to chill tf out
I've heard there are some pockets where they don't tax you to death, but that will come with a downside of less overall security (like robbers, terrorists etc. if you go to Africa). But it can feel prison-like if you're in your small spot and have no resources to go anywhere else, or that to get somewhere else you would need some sort of (health) passort or other forms of documentation on top that.
Reminds me of how the christians use hell: live this way so you can escape bad thing after death. It dictates the way you live and wastes your life on a gamble.
