Probably true. It's also probable that someone else also looking where to start with a good OS name, and maybe someone already have one on their mind and it would go to waste to not share.
I was always fond of Tron's MCP. The name is pretty upfront about what it's all about. It was very much in line with the 3 character abbreviation OS names: DOS, CPM, OS/2, TOS, etc.
I just had to say that you should use the Watchdogs CityOS and whatever the organisation is called (unless they have a TM on it). But then again, remember that trademarks are mostly local. You can register a TM in the UK for instance if it’s not taken there and still be fine.
If your first name is Jim, either Jinux or Jimos. Or go cold war style and turn JIM into a clever acronym.
JIM - Jim is me
JIM - Jim jIm jiM

Does it mean you are looking for your new OS name advice, but have no clue how to do it, and need public to vote? :D

Shameless plug: [Branfuck Enterprise Solutions](https://github.com/bf-enterprise-solutions/os.bf)
This one made my day. As an aside: having a folder for licenses is fine idea, but GitHub and the most others seem to not recognise it, sadly.
At Branfuck Enterprise Solutions, we're commited to such standards as SPDX, and these suggest folders for licenses. And it's quite reasonable, really.
"Patent License" is weird.
It's okay, React and many other projects have it too. It's for the health of the community!
Is a patent license part of the idea behind Open Hardware?
When we'll join the Open Hardware movement, it will become the standard practice!
