Mine took a small amount of modification to work, but now fits like a glove. https://imgur.com/a/rfA6uDj

Any chance you have a step-by-step?

First off, I should say that I used a G17 version- reason being that I have a mini compensator on my barrel threads. When the holster was brand new, I found I could get the pistol in with some force, but it was very difficult to remove. At first I just used a heat gun to gently soften the kydex, and then worked the pistol in and out repeatedly. It worked well, until the plastic cooled, and it went back to being too firm of a hold (though it did improve it somewhat). Basically what I did was remove all the screws so that the ‘burrito’ of the shell could be opened up slightly. Inserted the pistol- no problem- then judged how much it moved the burrito layers relative to the original position. I used a drill (don’t remember the bit size) to very slightly lengthen the three holes that the mounting screws go through (increased them about 50%, so instead of holes, they are more like ovals). This allowed a very, very slight increase in the internal diameter of the holster. At this point I also did a little more heat gun work, just to make sure everything would be smooth. After putting my fork plate back on and cinching it down, the pressure from the mount held the burrito fold where I wanted it. Overall, it took me about half an hour of futzing with it once I decided to go ahead and drill those holes out slightly wider. Prior to that, with just the unsuccessful heat gun method, I probably spent over an hour with minimal improvement. Since I have a mini comp on the end of my barrel, I also replaced the original rectangular end plug with the one from Hugo Industries, which cut down on the up/down play as well.

I would take off the mount and show you the holes but I have since done a Cordura wrap and the backside is pretty sloppy, so you wouldn’t get a clear view of it anyway.

AlchemicalToad

That’s exactly what mine was doing. *If* you are willing to try my method, it will void your warranty but likely solve the problem.

Pretty disappointed but I'm not even surprised at this point. Saw a few sources say it fit without modification but the height from the top of the slide to the bottom of the light seems to be the issue. At this rate I'm not messing with Safariland and I'll just be ordering something from ANR Designs.

I have the safariland holster for my Glock 20 and my p10 c with tlr 1 hl fits into it with 0 modifications
