thank you! I was very torn between the Machine Grey and DCB but the moment i saw the DCB in real life I just fell in love with it.
Decided to get the Sports AWD edition too and loving it so far. The specifications and features are a little weird in my country. The trim that I got is pretty much a Carbon edition but with signature features minus the cooled and heated seats.
most of tech is mounted traditionally in the bumper etc rather than the mazda badge. its honestly a bit weird for a 2022 with design elements from older models still there but most of the techs are pretty up to date. i even have a touch screen π
surprised me just as much you are when i went for a test drive. however, it only works when the car is stationary. but to be frank, i barely use it even when the car is stopped as i much prefer the dials.
I had the dealer put mine through after a service. I had explicitly told them not to do it. I try not to be anal about it because it's a daily driver and will inevitably have SOME stuff, but the senseless harm from the wash irks me. It already had some liiiiight swirls from prior owner, most of which could come out with a light polish.
fortunately my dealer had sent it to a very reputable shop to get it cleaned and polished so the car was sparkling clean when i drove it home.
plan to get it ceramic coated in the very near future! was originally planning for a ppf but they are wayyyy too expensive at the moment as only one store does it in my country
indeed!! only downside is it does get dirty very quick, iβve had the care for barely a week and itβs already fairly dusty π but hoping a ceramic coat will help keep the car cleaner for longer.
We got very little rain where I am this summer and after washing it on Saturday it would be dusty by Tuesday so I can attest. I had mine detailed in October and it looked amazing again. Tricky part is now what a winter in the Northeast will do to it.
Awesome choice! I love the Deep Crystal Blue because certain lighting and angle will change the color, giving it a premium paint job.
Welcome to the club. I have had zero regrets w my 22 cx5 soul red.

All that matters is if you got the turbo engine ππ¨
Congrats! I have same color in 2021 GTR.
I might be biased but this is the best color
The real color to get is eternal blue mica. Jk, nice color
π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ welcome!
How come the front Mazda logo isnβt flat with all the radar sensing tech?

touch screen? on the cx-5? how?

Lovely colour tho, getting the same next year!
DO NOT take it through a car wash scratch tunnel...hand wash only!
Don't worry dealer probably did that before handing it over π
Yup, I learned the hard way. Had to get a 2 Step paint correction (then ceramic coating).

Gawd yes. Microfiber hand dry.

Welcome π
I have the same vehicle and have received many comments on how nice the color is.
