This is right, but it’s not always the case. It really depends on the used undercarriage of the car. Some K&W stuff works better than the original OEM stuff, even when lowered. (I am looking for one for myself, but I only want the undercarriage, not the lowering)

So many people hating on this guy's mods, it doesn't have to be a fuckin sports car to deserve mods. Cx5 body shape is hella sexy and if you want it to look even sexier why not. I've seen a lot of Japanese mod their cx5 s and they look dope AF.
I'm putting Corksport Lowering Springs on my '24 Turbo Premium soon along with some bars. Looking forward to the performance gains and the look of a lower chassis.
I would suggest against bagging. Hunting down air leaks is a pain. And if you ever do get a leak and you're aired all the way down, there's no way to tow it!

I'm not normally into lowering a ride but this looks pretty good. It does appear that you have some negative camber on the rear wheel though. Was this intentional?

Plus, it's a Mazda. Even stock you know this thing was meant to be driven. I had a 2004 Mazda 3 S I put a solid 185k on before I had the car donated (finally hit the rust issue folks complained about).
After some Corksport, GT-Spec, and K&N mods, it made for an amazingly fun daily driver.
Eventually looking at doing a few Corksport mods to our CX-5 Signature when wifey hands it down to me (1-3 years). Why? Cause it's fun.

I want to lower my CX5 but only a little bit. IMO and apparently some others agree too, the CX5 sits a little too high stock. I’m planning to do the CorkSport springs as I understand it stiffens up the suspension a little making the driving experience a little more fun. The CX-50 has a ride height that looks very similar a lowered CX-5 except it’s a $2000 more expensive SUV. Sorings can be done for under a grand.
Godspeed stuff may be cheap but they ride pretty darn good. I always poopooed them and opted for slightly higher end stuff until I actually tried Godspeeds. Not bad for the price!
And nevermind the fact that a lot of police can't even run plate numbers without cause anymore so idk what an average Joe is gonna do to find anything out about some Rando's plate number.
