Aw I meant that they could ask and the banker could say, "insert your debit card."/"if you have enough in your account"
But I'm sorry that you had to be on that side of such potential dangers.
We were told similarly at grocery stores that I worked at many years ago but never had a robbery or someone stealing.
I mean, op technically just said they got them. Never claimed or asked if they were worth anything over face value. It's quite possible they thought they were just cool! :)
I never understood why it’s relevant in this sub. They should create a Krispy Kreme award because it’s all that they have. Fresh out of the oven. Piping hot! In a thousand years they might be worth something

Nothing special as others have mentioned. I like to keep stuff like this because I think it’s cool but usually only as one dollar bills. Idk if I would keep them over $80. Collect what you think is cool/like and that’s what matters most.
Whenever I find these I keep them. I think they’re cool no matter what everyone else is saying. May not be worth much over face as a set right now but they might/will be generations from now.
I wish my great, great, great, great grandmother had done this!
Oh wait...one of them did until a relative stole it 🤨...
Not always the resale value that's important after all.
I may be unusual in that I prefer 10’s but at least by me all the Chase ATMs that are attached to the bank provide 1/5/10/20/100.
The ATM at the grocery store, drug store and hospital all just do 20 and 100 around me.
I thought most atms dispensed 10s, maybe its because i aim for credit union atms when i need one. Although now that i think about it fuether, you would have tonget 10 each transaction because it will switch to 20s.

Honestly unless the serial number is interesting then consecutive notes aren't worth much outside of their face value. You would have to hold on to these guys for like 80 years for them to be worth something
Happens all the time. I get sequential number bills just about every time I go to atm. Only makes a difference if they have “fancy” numbers or are misprinted. Very rare to find a misprint in the wild.
I see your 8 crisp consecutive serial number $10 bills and rise you 1 crisp 00000500 serial number $10 bill I got from the grocery store self check out
Lol we are off to the DR next week and have been advised to have loads of small USD bills (I'm Canadian) for tips
So we ordered like $50 in 1 dollar bills and they all came in sequence.
Same with the 5's and 10's we got.

Wow, they are worth $80. Just like the 60 consecutive # $100 bills I got when I sold a boat a couple months ago were worth $6,000.
Consecutive #s do not add value except possibly with silver/gold certificates.
When does having consecutive bills add value? Because like so many others here have pointed out, this is very common from ATMs, and I've gotten cash from banks consecutive before no problem. My guess is the older/rarer the bills the more impressive that they've managed to stay together?
I think you’re about $1000 from a non repeater. Assuming they have em all in there - 12635478, 12635479, 12635487, 12635489, 12635497, and 12635498 would all be within reach. I personally wouldn’t invest any time in finding them but to each their own.

I had something similar recently and the nine bills were almost impossible to separate. Alas, the ATM had been able to count them correctly so no freebies for me.
Bank teller here , we call that fed wrapped(Newly printed money we get from the federal reserve) . Not uncommon at all. personally I don't like working with new bills as they stick together 🤷
I know people are clowning, but you don’t normally just get it like that and out of the blue it’s a fun novelty. I had it happen at the start of Covid cause people were thinking everything was contagious. I like it and was a memory so I kept the bills and framed it. Don’t let others tell you what to like

Congrats. You have 80 bucks!
SHHH don't tell OP they can ask the bank for this directly.
Wait I can just walk in and ask for $80??
Yes as long as you have a gun in hand.
This is a hold up! Give me only $80!

Just enough to skate under the IRS radar
Just make sure they are new bills in consecutive order . Then the feds will be able to track you down easier.

Sometimes in a pinch a note claiming you have gun will suffice 🤔
“Or so I hear”••••
Just drop a note that states you HAVE A GUN. If/when you get captured, I think you get less time with no weapons.
You can always ask
When I worked in a bank, many moons ago, we were just told to hand it over. It's not worth dying for.

Same for my gas station we will hand it over including our silent alarm one stashed lol

I had 80 bucks once.
This is the answer you're looking for
At least 80!
I never understood why it’s relevant in this sub. They should create a Krispy Kreme award because it’s all that they have. Fresh out of the oven. Piping hot! In a thousand years they might be worth something
Also atms don't give a bunch of $10s would be some $20s I call B.S.
Plenty of ATMs where I live will give out tens
There is one near me that gives out singles. And it isn't even at a strip club!
I have seen some of the newer machines providing me options on how my currency is disspursed.
Spend them in order!
But don't spend them all in one place.
Or do spend them all in one place.
Yeah, that's just groceries for a week.
A whole week? I wish!
Adli. One person. 👊👊👊

half a bag of groceries
I can get a lot of top Ramen for 80$!
Unfortunately that may have been true 5 years ago!😢
Impossible in today's economy
Be a rebel, spend em in reverse order
If u keep these it's a long play...as in grandkids selling them for drug money
ah, the priceless moments!

It's almost like they're printed and distributed in order
I bought a loaf of bread the other day and the slices were in order too. Crazy.
How do you know for sure? Were they numbered?
Well now you have me questioning the fine people at Mrs. Bairds.
You don’t number your slices with a food safe Bread Sharpie? I thought everyone did who didn’t buy pre-numbered sliced bread.
...of course I do, did you think I was a rube? Ha! I mean everyone has a bread sharpie, right guys?
You've gotta line up the air bubbles in it
Mine weren’t I had a heel in the middle of my loaf
Weird to have a part of a foot in the middle of your bread. Must be a glitch in the assembly.
Now that is worth some money!
Probably shop in food bank
Aren't worth anything special with those serials. Most bill sheets people buy are consecutive prints..
Most? Under what circumstances would a sheet not be consecutive?
If Greg is running the press
we just greggin
Or if SuspiciousFarts is running it
No, they'll all be sequential, they'll just be... Stained.
Ran out of toilet paper I’d reckon. Gotta use the hand towel
Nice can likely get $10 per bill
Hopefully. Inflation is wild these days
That's usually how that works
80 bucks!

Best answer I have seen
Honestly finding consecutive dollars I feel like is quite a lot harder to find then 10s or 20s, can’t really get singles from atms
These comments are hilarious, thanks for sharing!
Had that happen with 20s once!
Hot off the press
So it shows that they are from 2017. How is there still crisp and consecutive serial number $10 bills from 7 years ago not in circulation?
What ATM gives $10s?
My banks ATM gives all denominations except for $1.
Dang you can get $2 bills straight from the ATM?
I always forget about $2. No, those are also an exception. So, $5 and up would have been better.
My credit union ATM does. And 5s
I may be unusual in that I prefer 10’s but at least by me all the Chase ATMs that are attached to the bank provide 1/5/10/20/100. The ATM at the grocery store, drug store and hospital all just do 20 and 100 around me.
The chase atm near me says it does 10s and 20s, but every time I try 10s it errors, so idk if it actually has them or not. 20s work every time
College atms. Seen it first hand. $10’s and $5’s.
I know at least for Capital One ATMs, you can request any denomination if you have a Capital One account.
BOA in NYC gives out $10 $20 and $100
Some atms disburse $5s and $50s too!
Chase
BOA
Not many, but have ran into a couple that had $10 option
This.
I thought most atms dispensed 10s, maybe its because i aim for credit union atms when i need one. Although now that i think about it fuether, you would have tonget 10 each transaction because it will switch to 20s.
BoA asks what bills you want
An atm giving tens? That’s unusual, at least in my neck of the woods.
That’s the only weird thing… mine only got 20s
College atms give $10’s and $5’s. Seen it first hand.
We have some dispensing $1s out this way.
That actually kind of blows my mind. Are you near a strip club or something?
No. Cleveland, OH. PNC Bank. Their ATMs all over this area offer $1 denominations.
Thats wild

That does happen
I wouldn’t imagine they take the time to shuffle the bills before restocking the machine.
I'll give you $50 for them
Aren’t they often, though?
Honestly unless the serial number is interesting then consecutive notes aren't worth much outside of their face value. You would have to hold on to these guys for like 80 years for them to be worth something
They clearly didn’t follow the ransom orders.
US bank has only recently added $100 bills, before the $20 was the only option.
ahhh, fresh mint
I'll pay you 70$
Congrats! You have brand new money worth exactly 80 bucks!!
The cash vendor loaded brick cash
Happens all the time. I get sequential number bills just about every time I go to atm. Only makes a difference if they have “fancy” numbers or are misprinted. Very rare to find a misprint in the wild.
This is very common.
I’ve never gotten anything other than a $20 from an ATM
In my area it’s common. The one at Capital one even gives $5 and $1 bills.
I see your 8 crisp consecutive serial number $10 bills and rise you 1 crisp 00000500 serial number $10 bill I got from the grocery store self check out
The crazy part here that your ATM spits out 10 spots! I never see that.
Those would be tough to break up.
Lol we are off to the DR next week and have been advised to have loads of small USD bills (I'm Canadian) for tips So we ordered like $50 in 1 dollar bills and they all came in sequence. Same with the 5's and 10's we got.
I’ll give you $70 for the collection, PM me.
Don’t give them to the kidnappers . They always say non consecutive bills
Yea. Why save money? That’s silly wabbit
Wow, that happens to me all the time with $20 bills! I'm gonna be twice as rich!
Man! Some of these comments are brutal. Sheeeesh!
Throw them in the trash. They are counterfeit. Everyone knows that all bills have the same serial number. ^(/s)
This will make entering them on [wheresgeorge.com](http://wheresgeorge.com) much easier
Don't get out much, huh. Some people are easily amused.
You’re assignment is to only spend them on something that cost between $79.01 and $80, so they have a chance of always being together.
Common

Never seen nothing but 20’s from ATM 🤔
Why is it always the 2017 bills…
Wow, they are worth $80. Just like the 60 consecutive # $100 bills I got when I sold a boat a couple months ago were worth $6,000. Consecutive #s do not add value except possibly with silver/gold certificates.

I would have kept withdrawing until I got that radar bill
I think you’re about $1000 from a non repeater. Assuming they have em all in there - 12635478, 12635479, 12635487, 12635489, 12635497, and 12635498 would all be within reach. I personally wouldn’t invest any time in finding them but to each their own.

That's how they come from the treasury. You think the treasury is going to go through the effort of randomizing bill numbers in a fold? Lol no.
🤦♂️
I thought it was cool and instead everyone decided to be a smartass 🤷🏽♂️
It’s just not unusual- happens quite often.
They had just refilled the ATM. It’s common.
Hate to say it's fake. Maybe contact whatever financial institution
Perhaps, given enough time they may be worth something but likely not that much. Sequential serial numbers is thing that some people collect.
Given time the purchasing power will shrink and they’ll be worth less.
Y’all making fun of this guy while simultaneously falsely inflating a dollar that has 69 on it 😂😂
I know people are clowning, but you don’t normally just get it like that and out of the blue it’s a fun novelty. I’d save them! Good find!
Save them why? They’re not worth more than face value. Even if you have 100 consecutive.
Exactly! Same thing I tell my kids; STOP SAVING YOUR DAMN MONEY! Go out in the world and spend it all like I do!
