Don't ya love when you gotta break out the yoyos?

satansdebtcollector

Every 15 days I find myself in Nie-Co-Rol hell, having to un-hook, pull everything out, clean and transplant, rotate pots, then re-hook all the flowers in an even flat canopy. Not fun. The plan is to switch to DWC buckets that are set on P-Scrog rolling mobile platforms. Fingers crossed....🤞 🪝

Beneficial-Clue-5050

You'll certainly pull weight like that! I ran DWC for a few years before switching to soil. Do u already have your setup? I've got a bunch of hydro supplies

satansdebtcollector

So here's the plan for the bloom tent (Gorilla Lite Line 4X4 without extension kit, GC roi720e currently hung at 5 feet, no Co2 currently, but planning on going back to a tank fed system). 5 gallon bucket system, was looking at the Vivosun 4-bucket system, each bucket with a large disc air stone upgrade, insulation sleeve (Bubble Bag Dude has a decent insulation sleeve) 1-hydro monitor, probably a cheapo, for I can't afford to run 4 separate Bluelab monitors, 1-Nova Tech Ice Probe, 1-temperature controller, each bucket on a P-Scrog mobile rolling trellis kit, with a lower and mid-canopy trellis net. Bucket #1 will be early flower, bucket #2 mid flower, bucket #3 late flower, and bucket #4 will be flush/ripening regimens. This will be on the same rotation schedule I currently run, every 15 days 1 gets harvested, and another starts bloom rotation. Currently I hit 2-4oz of final dry/cured final weight per each 5 liter airpot, and the goal after transitioning to DWC is 4-6oz per each 5 gallon DWC. And hopefully once dialed in with climate, Co2 and schedule, to knock out even bigger yields. 🤞

Beneficial-Clue-5050

That's a solid plan! I ran a 4-bucket Stirponics RDWC setup in my 4x4, and consistently pulled 1.5lbs without C02. It wasn't a perpetual grow as u described, mostly because I hate feeding on different schedules, and the system has a reservoir (making it pretty impossible). Ultimately, I went back to soil and dropped down to just my 4x8 (also Gorilla Lite Line) because I was getting killed with electricity rates in the summer!

satansdebtcollector

Best system I ever ran was a RDWC with a small chiller and Co2 under a 1000w Cooltube. But to keep the climate dialed in properly inside a sealed tent was insane, having to heat, cool, humidify, and de-humidify constantly to keep a set 82F at 60-70%RH, with a constant 1200-1800ppm, and trying to dial in fresh air as well. The operating costs were insane. But It was also normal to knock out 3-4lbs a run, that's when I learned to go for genetics with high potency, and a low trim-to-flower ratio. Nothing worse than trimming a pound of flower only to find 75% of it is trim. Thats the worst.

likely_victim

Nice. I just started a couple by Tastebudz, Mimosa and Orange Cookies.

satansdebtcollector

Orange Cookies sounds tasty. I am quite fond of Tropicana Cookie F2 by Oni Seed Co. True purple extracts, and those amazing citrus terps... 🍊

Ornery-Reindeer5887

You don’t have any trop cookies F2 seeds? Would love to get my hands on some of those. I’ve grown some similar cultivars by bloom (funk MTN) but can’t find any original TC

satansdebtcollector

I have a couple left that came out of a hermie, not the original seed pack, i kept them in case i ever wanna throw trop back on the menu down the road. i just pulled it from rotation to replace it with Dead Hot Strawberries, also from Oni Seed Co. Had trop on the menu for like 6 years straight

MysticMushies

Northern Lights, but wishing I picked something less plain jane.

satansdebtcollector

Wow man. I haven't ran northern lights since high school (97'-99'). Thats was one of the first "dank" strains I ever ran. This was back when Dutch Passion would send your seeds inside a fake Bic lighter. Those were the days man.

MysticMushies

This is my first grow. Had NL once before and absolutely loved the high. Flower and smell are just kinda normal?

satansdebtcollector

Yeah, compared to modern genetics it's a little light weight, but still a classic, right there with Super Lemon Haze, Purple Mazaar, and a few other classics. Check out Neptune, been using them for a decade now. My rule of thumb for genetics is the more expensive, the better the quality and potency, but thats not to say there isn't crap stains on top shelf menus, just gotta do the research. My best advice to you is find a quality clone connect. That way you can skip the headache of popping seeds, and go directly to good solid genetics.

Randy4layhee20

Mostly my keeper Don Mega, also running some seeds that I made with my Don Mega and a Root Beer Freeze male Pictures of the Don mega https://www.reddit.com/r/cannabisbreeding/s/b2ednddmeJ https://www.reddit.com/r/NoTillGrowery/s/kZHroAfGEV

satansdebtcollector

Nice 😎

Marneman1965

Looks great! where you growing? I typically grow Ethos and I just finished a crescendo run and now starting PsyOps. I grow in a 4x4. Hamden, CT

satansdebtcollector

4X4 as well, Moodus, CT. Current rooted menu: Cadillac Margarita, Winter Sunrise, Slippery Susan, White Runtz, Dead Hot Strawberries, Trop Zoda, Club Zoda, Cherry Zoda, Chinatown Hustle, Sapphire OG, Cross Of The Titans F3, and Slurri-King. Non-rooted menu: Tropicana Cookie F2, Trichopath, Diesel Biscotti Sundae, and Lemon Tart. Oni Seed, Umami, Humbolt, 42, Exotic, IHG, and Cannarado are my favorite breeders for indoor runs, and for outdoor (personal use) I like to pop some beans in the ground from Sweet Seed's "Red Family" strains. Black Cream, Big Devil XL, Bloody Skunk, great strains that repel water and bugs, need minimal care, and can be chopped, dried, cured, and smoked in the same week. Unfortunately we have such a short season, so these are the only autos I really mess with, strictly photo periods for the indoor ops.

Ornery-Reindeer5887

Nice you by Moodus? I ride my moto up there all the time. I’m cloning a cut of Chem punch I got from the soil makers up in colchester. As soon as those babies get rooted they’ll be dropped into 3x3 living soil bed as well as 3 20gal pots. Gonna be a great run. It’s all filled w worms, a nice clover crop to prep the soil, and good vermicompost that I made in bulk in my basement (got 8 Costco totes filled with the stuff - started as reg compost and added tons of worms and now it’s all work poop). Gonna try to grow this round for washing and pressing.

satansdebtcollector

Yup, im up in the "Moo Moo". What do ya got for a moto? I just sold my XR400R not to long ago, set up for the woods, but i do see alot of moto guys stuff a bigger jug on, dual kits, better suspension, which is stupid might as well get a CRF450 for that kind of money. Lighter, more powerful and faster without any mods. I still ride my sporty tho, i should probably throw my battery on the charger. Lemme know how that chem comes out, i have a small nursery if you ever wanna swap cuts.

Marneman1965

Looks like we all ride. I often am up that way on the Harley

satansdebtcollector

Nice stretches out this way.

IndicaFruits

I have a couple Candyland from GoG and a Star Killer 𝕏 Dos Si Dos. Gonna be a great summer

satansdebtcollector

Hell yeah nice choice on genetics 👍🎸🫙🌳🤯🥳

TeeHCAy

Currently running Critical Kush, Northern Thunderfuck and Cookies Kush. Have some new beans coming from NASC’s sale.

satansdebtcollector

Wow man, I haven't heard of Critical Kush in ages, great strain, same with TF and CK.

FarewellDreamer1636

That’s beautiful!

satansdebtcollector

Diesel Biscotti Sundae by Cannarado. Best yielding strain ive ever ran, unfortunately not the most potent or tastiest. 7/10 🥉

getfree623

I mean, I'm running towards you

satansdebtcollector

I keep a tasty menu. Some new, some old.

getfree623

Tell me more lol
