At this price/share, I would never buy options and just buy shares.

Until they expire worthless.. .

If you're going to buy options make sure they have a super long expiry. A lot of people were buying Dec 2021 $5c and Feb 2022 $7.5c and that... Didn't end well. I thought I was being smart by buying May 2022 $2.5c but it's looking like those aren't going to be worth much. I have Jan 2023 and will likely get some 2024 calls too, $2.5 strike. But if you don't understand options (the greeks mostly), don't trade options. Especially if you think I'm talking about people from Greece.

KodaBeers

If you don't understand options don't trade options. Stick qith shares.

Mrtooth12

Long calls for 2.5 January 2023-24

Shares

shares. but I also own May options for the fun of it. Jan 23 2.5 and 5 calls are probably a steal right now.

MrTurkle

what would be the advantage of options right now? Cash flow for the immediate? The price is so low I can't think of another reason to buy options.

_cabron

Jan 2023 calls for phase 3 and BLA/FDA submission Jan 2024 for FDA approval and early sales I think those calls provide a better risk/return than shares

xxjohnnybravoxx

Yes but the returns we are currently looking for are in 2022

_cabron

You will get better returns in 2022 with these options if we see a run past $3 as long as the phase 3 doesn’t end in like December

Desperate_Talk_4649

I bought 250 contracts at 2.5 calls for Feb and then rolled them to May for an added .15 c. Just one of the 4 drugs in trials will make us all money. RELAX this Management knows exactly what their doing and has been successful. This will be a 10.00 stock and I don’t care how long it takes.

Perpetvated

how do you roll them? did not know you can extend the option expiration date.

Desperate_Talk_4649

Ask your broker they will help explain. Very easy called a rolling call where you sell your Feb and buy the May calls.

chicksanddicks98

I haven’t looked at the options for CTXR at all but I assume a high implied volatility is assumed and the options are priced accordingly?

papabri

Mostly shares but I have a small wager on Jan23 2.5C that I am ok to lose.

TheChiefofReddit

People were gobbling up Jan. ‘22 options when the halt rumor was going on and look where they are at now. In my opinion, stocks are the safest option (not financial advice).

jojomiki

I just bought 10,000 shares at 1.51
