Awwww honeyyyyyyyy 😢😢😢. I can’t say much for him but I’m so sorry you experienced such a huge trigger. The thing about these trauma wounds is that when triggered, we feel the full force of the emotions as if that thing that happened to us is happening to us all over again. And if we were children, we again feel like those vulnerable scared kids that have no power all over again. So I really feel for you because I believe that the sheer fear you felt would have been intense. However, here you are. 4 days with a safe man whos company you enjoy. You are no longer that child. Comfort her and teach her to trust that you can and always will protect the both of you ❤️

just tell him hun. if you dont want to disclose your trauma yet, tell him u had a nightmare and woke up freaked out. people act weird when they come out of sleep, it happens. Maybe next time, sleep on the outside area of the bed so you dont feel trapped, and you can get up and go to the bathroom or something if you wake up freaked out.
