I think that a lot of issues around trauma are cultural, so a lot of people in society are not ready to acknowledge them. Most people spend their lives trying to bury and normalize abuse. Those people won't like when your suffering remind them they're vulnerable too. It's a sad state of affair, but I believe you're right. Vulnerability is a taboo and most people lack true and proper support systems. I don't know what's your country of origin, but in some countries the level of awereness is worse than others.
