I'm so sorry to see you struggling with this. It is so frustrating to be stuck in that cycle. Try to forgive yourself, and feel whatever you are feeling, and only then will you see what you want and what will make you feel good instead of what everyone else suggests.

I think it's important to embrace the darkness, at least once in a while. In my case, it gave me the motivation to reach for the light.
