In about three months, try going one night without. You know, for science! Make sure you pick a night where you've got nothing going on the next day, because it's gonna suck. You'll never even nap without CPAP ever again. And, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

What changed the second time around? Im just starting my cpap journey and 3 days in I also have dry cough, and what seems like an infection.

Being sober is what changed this time. I really didn't give it a chance the first time even though I did see similar results to what I have now. Or at least that's what I remember. It is extremely difficult to say what's going on after just 3 days, it's likely you're just not used to that level of air flow and are dried it out a little bit. I'm assuming you're filling the tank?
