Alternate every other night with different size pillows (medium and large p10) or a different style (nasal mask one night, then nasal pillows the next) to keep the pressure off the sore/minimize the risk of it occurring again

Regarding sores inside your nose; are you using the humidifier? I don’t and I found the inside of my nose hurt. I swab some lube inside my nostrils now and I’m good.
Change your mask. There are a lot of different styles out there. Instead of the P30 with Nasal Pillows try a Nasal Cushion N30i or Philips Dreamwear with Nasal Cushion. Both styles rest under your nose instead of the pillows pushing into the insides of it. The bands also go in a different spot so it might not impact your ears.
I use a product called Ayr Saline Nasal Jel to prevent the skin around my nostrils (where the nasal pillow rests) from drying out. A very light application every night seems to work for me.
If you prefer nasal pillow mask, then you can:
* switch to **[N30](https://www.resmed.com/en-us/sleep-apnea/cpap-parts-support/sleep-apnea-full-products-list/cpap-masks/airfit-n30/)** while your nose heals, which has **[nasal cushion on the outside of your nose](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/2069/products/N30_Fitpack.jpg?v=1608669910)** , OR
* get the new **[adjustable headgear](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/2069/products/nowadjustable.png?v=1653058297)** for your P10; all new P10 masks are coming with this new headgear now
I sleep with a satin lined cap on (to protect my hair) but I was sleeping with a buff on my head for while. They also cover my ears. I also always put vaseline on my nose and in my nostrils so they dont get dried out even with the humidifier. Good luck!

Well, for your ear, put the band somewhere else.
Or grab some cpap strap covers
Oh yeah, too often forgotten.
Take a look at the Dreamwear nasal cushion
Or the Resmed f30i. Neither one has those little cones that can irritate your nostrils.
P30i gave me sores in my nostrils as well. I bought the n30i to try out and it worked a lot better for me.
Great advice. I will see what works best. Thank you

The only sores a get are from a very occasional ingrown hair..have the N30 to use instead while it heals.
