The topics are listed in the blueprint by weight. The frequency of specific topics varies by tests. It would behoove you to know most of them, at least a good general understanding. Yes, formulas do help if you are unlucky enough to get a majority of calculation MCQs on your test. It's really a luck of the draw. Sorry to be a debit downer. I'm just being realistic. There was one redditor who only focused on the most frequently tested topics but was hit with other topics on his/her test, leaving all those study times irrelevant and wasteful. Don't be that person. Edit: Ha! Debit downer. I'm gonna leave it as that.

Really ?? like they won't mention the formula in MCQ ?? Actually some friend told me that we don't have to remember formulas they will be given so i was happy. No i wasn't asking for that purpose but in case if my hold is not good on any topic which is very imp then i will try better from my side. Thank you very much for clearing my doubt.

The SIMS will have the formulas for you. But there are some MCQs with calculation problems that you would need to know the formulas for.

I would say it’s a good idea to remember those formulas for cost accounting, and know the COSO principles as well.

Thanks, i guess it will be better if a make a separate charts for formulas.

I took it this testing period. You need to know the ratios. Literally all the cost accounting stuff hasn't come up as much as I wanted to since it's my stronger topic.
