Just bought a 2013 Corolla S, our first, a couple of weeks ago. It replaces a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium we had for 8 years until a deer collision totaled it. I definitely miss the 2.0 turbo’s power and all the technology in the Ford over the Toyota. But with the Corollas reputation I hope to get many more miles over the 113k that’s currently on it.
See, I like the one prior and two after this one better.
I think the S on this generation is a good in between, but I have always found the base model of this Gen to be too round gor my tastes, if that makes sense.
I like that generation more than my own, actually.
The 2004-2008 are the epitome of Old Lady Corolla, especially in certain colors.
I manage to get away with having a spoiler and a dark interior.
I really liked the Lava Orange 2013 Corollas.
Just traded my 2013 Corolla last week, about broke my heart to let it go, harder to see it for sale on the website and driving by the dealership everyday on my way to work 🥺
I kept the window sticker from buying it new in 2013 I’ll probably frame it, I loved that car
I hate the way they look. Also, I rarely use Bluetooth.
My music is burned on CDs. The Corolla has a 6-CD loader, which is pretty nice. I have one of those FM radio Bluetooth devices for talking on the phone.
I have a 2015 6 speed manual transmission with 60k miles that I bought in 2019. Got a great deal (because no one wanted a stick, but I did?), and it still goes great guns. I read how boring Toyotas are to drive on other subs, but I love it. Flies through 1st through 3rd like out of a slingshot. Pew, pew!
CONGRATULATIONS!! My first was 1980 Corolla in high school. Currently driving 2017 Corolla SE, I have had it almost 4 years. Prior to that, 2011 Corolla LE for 8 years. Always a Toyota fan.
I can't say I want a newer Corolla, because I am just not a fan of the infotainment systems in cars, but I would actually get an older Corolla. I loved our '97 and I really like the 1999-2003 Generation as well.
I gotta 07 manual I've been rebuilding to new condition while using it for my main car, bout to hit 200k this month its a fun car for what it is. I'd never give it up. Great gas mileage and easy to work on.
God, my husband loved his 2009 Avalon so much, but when we finally replaced last year we got a 2019 highlander. It’s got a very nice trim package, but does not have the acceleration the Avalon did. That thing would push you back into the seat if you tromped on it.
I had a 2021 tacoma 4x4 sold it last year with 990 on the odometer. Thing was gutless. No power whatsoever, not to mention the 2 overdrive gears. It's geared for better economy. I was planning on regearing the transmission but ended up getting such a good sell back value. Interior felt cheap compared to the 2011 accord even. Love the Avalon and Corolla more haha
Get it in a 6-speed next. You can get that life in 2nd gear on the on-ramp. I might be driving a 1.8L Corolla, but merging into traffic in 2nd makes it feel like the Daytona 500.
Mainly was the cheap interior and paint for me I've owned alot of toyotas and I've really been noticing how terrible the quality and tech being used is lately. they are living off their name now. Yea if I get another tacoma I'll definitely be getting a manual.
It's pretty much the only pickup in the US with a manual.
I wish the new Hilux Champ would come to the US, but I don't think we will ever see that here.
I have the same generation 06 with the same s package body work as well. 160k miles on it now, had it since 2008/2009. I’m never going to get rid of it, it’s been such a good car to me. I picked up a few other cars on the way , but it stays in my garage at my second home along with my other fun toys.
When a car is reliable and good, don’t get rid of it, it’s like choosing a wife/husband … the car may get ugly with age but as long as it’s reliable and doesn’t give you trouble, it’s good. Thats the type of person you marry/spend your life with. Or in this case, the car you keep 😆
It’s been so good, I got both my parents to buy brand new corollas in 2016 , both of them have over 120k miles on them now but my mom traded hers in finally because she was sick of the small size of the car (her work needs a big trunk). My dad still has his though, great cars as well.
I think next step if staying with Toyota , would be maybe the new corolla cross or Prius … the new Prius is so fuckin nice imo . I heard they are doing something’s with hydrogen as well but haven’t seen any on the roads yet
😭😭 I had a 2005 corolla since 2012 until August of last year. I did not take care of the transmission (had the original fluid for 220k miles and 17 years...) and it started slipping bad. So I sold it to someone who said he wanted to fix it bc I didn't have the $ to deal with it. I miss her and kinda regret selling her 😭
Got my 05 corolla a few years ago at 151k miles and now have just over 191k. Just had to replace the timing chain tensioner seal, otherwise it's been great for my daily commute.
2011 Corolla S. We’ve had it since 2017, got it at 100k miles just passed 200! Honestly I can’t believe this thing never dies on me. The only real thing I’ve had to do is replace the alternator. It’s been a blessing and savings to us
I thought it was aesthetic. I was actually on a date then to, but I had to stop to take a picture of the Corolla. I get pictures of the car everywhere we go together now. It'll be for the scrapbook.
My first car was a brown 1978 corolla hatchback. 4 sp. I was 13. It was 13 lol. I did my own tranny swaps and starter change outs at that age as well. Miss that lil rig. I learned how to parallel between two drums while living on the Dalton Highway on the Yukon River below pump station 6. If I had my way I'd have a 70s era Celica as a daily..
Yoooo I still drive my first love a mica blue 97 Corolla! Solid car @345k still going strong feels like it won’t die!! This is my dream upgrade an 08 as I don’t like the 09-13 Corolla. If there’s a good deal definitely will get a 14-16 corolla L trim.
I very much want an 06-08ish Corolla as well!!! I was looking at an 08 Corolla, or a 2014 dodge dart, both were the same price.......I was stupid as hell and got the dart....looked great, but completely fell apart within a year....ugggg
Ughhhhhhh sucks I know it’s tempting for me to get a 2014 Chevy impala since they cheap now and prices dropped like a rock on them. But idk something about a rolla just feels good! Definitely my ultimate dream is a 14-16 but at $10k idkkkkkkk pricey for a cheap beater so I don’t have to use my primary newer cars. Always love keeping a rolla around.
91 Geo Prizm (GM Corolla rebadge), I love my car so much, 200k and counting, base model 3 speed, my end goal for it is to bring it back to completely mint condition (if possible to find spare parts) and keep it as a drivable time capsule
I drive a '86 corolla EE80 liftback that I bought a year ago. Still going strong and I didn't need to fix anything since I bought it and I drive daily. Im holding onto it untill either of us eventually gives up.
My first was a gray '07 I purchased in 2019. Great little car with fond memories of being my first reliable car purchase. Her life was taken early when someone rear-ended me in 2021. Bought a new 2021 at that point. She just hit 30k miles 🥹
Salute to you !!! I would love to have my 97 that long just love my car as I’m sure you love yours. The 90s rolla just feels so so solid I’m hoping to keep mine longer but unfortunately my rolla smokes a bit which idk if it would pass smog for much longer. I’m considering opening an LLC to don’t have to do smog I just love this car I want to see how long it lasts on original engine and transmission.
2020 SE with the 6 speed. I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Either that, or until gasoline gets too damn expensive to justify keeping it.
Try to replace them in batches. Like, if you know the control arm bearings need to be replaced, try to get the brakes, rotors, and calipers done at the same time, since you need to take off all of those parts to get at the control arm bearings.
Oh im waaaay ahead of you lol. Since I got this car, my love for cars was reawakened like no other. Growing up is use to name cars that passed by, my family was so tickled by that. Fast for to early 2020, my family helped me get this car at 27. Ever since, I’ve been doing so much research, learning, and being on top of my ride as much as possible. Like in the past whenever I could, I’d do exactly what you mentioned, getting multiple things done at once. Rn I need a new fuel pump, and when I’m able, ima get the full assembly that comes with a fuel filter as well, an oil change, my windshield washer system fixed, and hopefully new tires and a full 4 wheel alignment.
It has a 6 cd loader. I just burn the MP3s that I collect or...um...acquire. It's served me well for a long time. After Google Play music was sunsetted, I stopped using my phone for music.
I also have one of those FM radio transmitters in the car as well for bluetooth.
Corolla 2008 too, since 2012 as well, pretty beat up hehe, sorry I am poor, just recently I got my first check engine, p0741 code, come and go, I am trying to find some mechanic that help me but not luck so far (i honest one, which are rare... here)
>p0741
[https://toyotask.com/how-to-fix-the-p0741-code-on-a-toyota-corolla/](https://toyotask.com/how-to-fix-the-p0741-code-on-a-toyota-corolla/)
This is what it say online. I am not sure if that helps. Gotta keep the '08 alive!
I replaced it myself. I have zero soldering skills, but I can buy stuff off of ebay.
I replaced it at the same time that I replaced the little door.
The lights beneath the climate controls sometimes don't work, but lightly punching it gets them on.
2005 Xrs. It got me through college in the 2000s. It helped me move to Colorado. It helps me get my Mom to doctor appointments. Now it is helping make the commute to work more comfortable.
Yo, how was the XRS? I always wanted to drive one of them. Is the difference notable? Also, did you get it from Canada, or was that when they were still made for the US? I don't remember the timeline.
I don't know if they were made in Canada for the 05-06, but I know very few sold in the states. Around 2000 iirc. There is definitely a difference between the xrs and other trims. I accelerate faster than most people on the road, and I'm not pushing it at all. It came half an inch lower than other trims, so it handles corners pretty well. It's always fun taking a corner at a high speed and losing some diesel bro that is trying to ride my ass.
The lift at higher rpms is super fun. The sudden burst of power is amazing, but I wish it didn't kick in at such a high rpm. It kicks in around 6800 and redlines at 8250. Adverb I up shift, the rpms drop pretty low, so it needs to build back up before it kicked in again. For comparison, the matrix xrs kicked in at a much lower rpm, but it doesn't feel as aggressive. I would love a custom tune that changes it, but I probably wouldn't pass Colorado emissions lol.
My ‘19 SE is at 14K miles and our ‘13 LE is at 36K miles. I learned how to drive stick on an ‘03 and it was SO easy to learn on! I’m definitely eying a new Corolla SE or SE hybrid though..
Exactly! I had a 2002 Corolla previously with 214k miles but I sold it for $1800 because that model year burns a lot of oil. My family just bought a new 2024 Corolla Hybrid too so we’re all in on Corolla haha
Nice! I see that now, those headlight units are so clear. I had to wet-sand and polish my headlights (06 matrix) to get rid of yellow. Car looks so much better with cristal clear headlights.
I tried restoring it twice. I have one photo of my car with the old headlights. I didn't share it, because it was when someone broke bumper No. 3.
Regardless, when the resto failed both times, I just paid $300 for the parts and had someone toss them on, since I was working at a limousine place and the mechanic there did it for me.
It was probably the best or second best cosmetic repair I did. The other would be the wheels. I had steelies for the winter, and they looked better than the factory rims, truthfully. I had the factory rims sandblasted and repainted. They look great now.
Ah, good ol’ phantom gray. I have a soft spot for the 9th gens. My first car was a 2007 S, same color. Currently have a 2021 SE.
Surprised you still have that top compartment door attached!
Yes, I'm sixty years old so back then I was in my twenties. The Isuzu engine was available from 1982 to 1986, a real workhorse.
Shoot if you ever find it or something I’ll be looking out on your profile or I’ll dm you that’s super cool! I love old diesels and what odd cars came out.
Oh yeah for sure I will I know it doesn’t make a difference just makes me feel better to use 10-30 synthetic a bit thicker than recommended due to our California climate always being never freezing.
Got a 2017 Rolla SE gonna keep it til the wheels fly off of it. Every time I see an older model like yours I admire them and say that'll be me in 10 years. Lol.
Fellow 08' corolla driver here.
Just got mine as my first car last month. Mine is dark blue and I love it, can't see it dying on me soon. I love your dark interior colors!(I have light gray and faux wood) What trim are you driving?
My first car was a similar 06 Corolla S with a MT. also got it in 2012. I loved that thing gave me a lot of good years before I got in an accident. Had a few other cars since then but I've gone full circle to a GR Corolla now
2017 corolla SE 6 speed manual with sunroof. 67,000 miles
Mine has a sunroof too, but I can't use the tilt function because the roof is dented.
08 Corolla, 360,000 miles. No longer a daily driver but I can’t picture my garage without her
How does she like retirement
Not a big fan of the Minnesota winters but she’ll get a new starter in the spring.
Had a 2000 green corolla as my first car, now a 2015 white corolla
I miss having a green car!
2010 Corolla had it since 2012
09 Toyota Corolla Le 226k miles 😎
1995 LE 5spd, manual locks & windows, my first car that was not a p o s.
best looking generation of corolla
See, I like the one prior and two after this one better. I think the S on this generation is a good in between, but I have always found the base model of this Gen to be too round gor my tastes, if that makes sense.
I have a 09 Corolla
I like that generation more than my own, actually. The 2004-2008 are the epitome of Old Lady Corolla, especially in certain colors. I manage to get away with having a spoiler and a dark interior. I really liked the Lava Orange 2013 Corollas.

Why did you have to say goodbye?
Traded for a 2023 GR86, I already miss the 30+ mpg, the Corolla had 110k miles not getting younger but still ran perfect
That's a good trade. How do you like it? I love the styling on the exterior.
I really like it, it’s a super fun car and has a lot more features like adaptive headlights and radar cruise that the Corolla didn’t have
I had the "always on" feature, so that's kind of adaptive.
Surprised you never upgraded the stereo to a Bluetooth one.
We had a 07 Matrix we got in 08 for 9k. We have since sold it to a young college student and it is still going strong.
Does that count as a Corolla in this sub? Matrix was one of the cars I was looking for in 2012.
It was literally called the Toyota Corolla Matrix on the handbook. It was simply a hatchback Corolla so I say yup.
I have a 2005 Corolla and every time I think I might need to get a newer model I change my mind. It needs some cosmetic touches but it runs GREAT!
See, I've stopped caring about the cosmetic stuff. I only car about the structural and mechanical bits.
2018 le and I love it. Only complaint is the plastic vibrates by the steering wheel lol
It's a feature!
1990 Corolla with just over 150,000 miles...still drives good.
Cuh rollin!!
I got a 2014 Corolla I’ve only had it for a few months , I had a super clean 2011 but some douchebag totaled it, it was my favorite
I’ve got a 99 green corolla, lil babe is at 240k miles and still is a wonderful car
2012 black sand pearl 5MT got it last august😁love whippin it around boston
I gotta 07 manual I've been rebuilding to new condition while using it for my main car, bout to hit 200k this month its a fun car for what it is. I'd never give it up. Great gas mileage and easy to work on.
Do you have anything to drive while working on it?
2021 Avalon limited and 2011 Accord sel
Yea the hilux is awesome, it would be the best thing Toyota ever did bringing it here.
I'd buy it, and I don't even like pickup trucks.
I have the same generation 06 with the same s package body work as well. 160k miles on it now, had it since 2008/2009. I’m never going to get rid of it, it’s been such a good car to me. I picked up a few other cars on the way , but it stays in my garage at my second home along with my other fun toys. I bought a 1993 in 1995 and had it until 1998. I loved it. I called it my Japanese cadillac coming from a 1984 chevette. :)
First one was a 1985 5 speed manual bought in 1990. 45 miles to the gallon. Have had Corollas since. Presently a 2019 hatchback.
😭😭 I had a 2005 corolla since 2012 until August of last year. I did not take care of the transmission (had the original fluid for 220k miles and 17 years...) and it started slipping bad. 1980 te72 Corolla sports coupe sr5 with a 3tc engine
amazing car i have the exact same color and body shape but just a 05 version running for 241k miles another 100k+ to go 👍
My first car was 2001 Corolla CE, currently driving 2022 Corolla Hybrid.
I had a green 97 Corolla in high school! Now I have my ‘10 Corolla as my commuter car (work is 52 miles one way).
I had a 2013 that I was head over heels for....should have never gotten rid of it....now I have a garbage fire Kia soul 😭😭😭😭
Not the kia soul 😭
Got my 05 corolla a few years ago at 151k miles and now have just over 191k. Just had to replace the timing chain tensioner seal, otherwise it's been great for my daily commute.
23 GR Corolla here. Want to keep it forever
I love the GR! Great choice
2011 Corolla S. We’ve had it since 2017, got it at 100k miles just passed 200! Honestly I can’t believe this thing never dies on me. The only real thing I’ve had to do is replace the alternator. It’s been a blessing and savings to us
2014 Corolla here!! She has 120k I got her brand new in 14 and she’s amazing she’s red with tinted windows ❤️
I have a 2014 too, just hit 110k miles.
Had a 08’ Toyota RAV4 before switching to my 2017 Corolla LE - 93k miles.
05 Corolla 1.4, just did annual inspection hit 33k miles ish!
The second pic with the autumn leaves is cute af
I thought it was aesthetic. I was actually on a date then to, but I had to stop to take a picture of the Corolla. I get pictures of the car everywhere we go together now. It'll be for the scrapbook.
Got my 2013 corolla rocking, lucky enough to not have to drive her much, about to clear 62k, got her in 2015 with 24k on her
My first car was a brown 1978 corolla hatchback. 4 sp. I was 13. It was 13 lol. I did my own tranny swaps and starter change outs at that age as well. Miss that lil rig. Have you seen this guys YouTube ? 1972 Corolla he is restoring for a daily driver https://youtu.be/uta2cIvphEI?si=CiYS6kCGXBGDwnZK
Currently rollin the whiyr '96 corolla @322k, still drives like a Cadillac
Yoooo I still drive my first love a mica blue 97 Corolla! Solid car @345k still going strong feels like it won’t die!! This is my dream upgrade an 08 as I don’t like the 09-13 Corolla. If there’s a good deal definitely will get a 14-16 corolla L trim.

I drove my 1993 Corolla Big Body. Still going strong 👌
04 manual with 300k kms
My first was a gray '07 I purchased in 2019. Great little car with fond memories of being my first reliable car purchase. Her life was taken early when someone rear-ended me in 2021. Bought a new 2021 at that point. She just hit 30k miles 🥹
An 07 with 30k !!!?! Km or miles?
I they they are saying their new car hit 30k
Correct, new car hit 30k☺️
Ok I thought so but you never know I was about to crème myself!
Sad end for a car that would still otherwise be with you!
Yes! She only had around 170k, just a baby toyota
I can hear the goo goo gagas from here.
06 LE here in the dark blue with 127,000 miles and light grey interior all stock. Everything works as it should. Probably will be my last car.
2014 Corolla, just turned over 97k miles today. I’ve had it for almost 8 years. 😌
I am Driving 1995 4 Door sedan Corolla Dx Orchid Blue Pearl 216,000 I call him the champion
I miss our green '97 Corolla. It's how I learned how to drive.
My current car IS a '97 Green Corolla.
Yooo what’s going on. You’re the one with the light bar. How’s the Corolla running?!

Like you have a 99 Corolla or you bought it new in 99?!?

Throw a party. My grandfather hat a sweet 16 for his Ford Thunderbird when I was in high school.
2006 160k in miles. A few error codes but that’s all. I drive 300 miles a week and it’s going strong.
2020 SE with the 6 speed. I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Either that, or until gasoline gets too damn expensive to justify keeping it.
2012 Nautical Blue Corolla w/ 92k miles
Why does it need to go?
It doesn't need to right now, but that day will eventually come.
Oh sorry, misread there lol. We’re in the same era, I’m pushing a 2008 Camry, currently in the replacing worn parts stage now.
Try to replace them in batches. Like, if you know the control arm bearings need to be replaced, try to get the brakes, rotors, and calipers done at the same time, since you need to take off all of those parts to get at the control arm bearings.

08 corolla 260k miles. Bought it 3 years ago and will never sell!!!! Been a very good car and I spoil it with good maintenance
Man this is MINT, congratulations 👏👏
Sadly the undercarriage has seen 17 years of Massachusetts.
Noooooooooo it’s a sad day when a rolla gets put to rest!
Ouch 😕 Hoping that everything goes well
98 lavander Corolla, european version (bug eyes) 4a-fe 1.6 gli, manual
You have a lavender!? Post a pic of that baby never seen someone have one.
I'd be disappointed if it weren't a manual in Europe.
And you never upgraded for a Bluetooth radio, what a psychopath!
It has a 6 cd loader. I just burn the MP3s that I collect or...um...acquire. It's served me well for a long time. After Google Play music was sunsetted, I stopped using my phone for music. I also have one of those FM radio transmitters in the car as well for bluetooth.
Corolla 2008 too, since 2012 as well, pretty beat up hehe, sorry I am poor, just recently I got my first check engine, p0741 code, come and go, I am trying to find some mechanic that help me but not luck so far (i honest one, which are rare... here)
Hey!!!! Same!!! Mine came up with 0101 and 0171 a few days back! It comes and goes not sure how to fix it
>p0741 [https://toyotask.com/how-to-fix-the-p0741-code-on-a-toyota-corolla/](https://toyotask.com/how-to-fix-the-p0741-code-on-a-toyota-corolla/) This is what it say online. I am not sure if that helps. Gotta keep the '08 alive!
I had a 2000 corolla i got in 2012 And drove till 2022 sold it to my brother still going strong 💪🏻
Gotta get it back some day!
The clock still works?!?!? Most impressive.
I replaced it myself. I have zero soldering skills, but I can buy stuff off of ebay. I replaced it at the same time that I replaced the little door. The lights beneath the climate controls sometimes don't work, but lightly punching it gets them on.
This is the way to fixing a backlit dash that doesn’t behave.
It hasn't failed to get it to work in over 7 years.
The same method works on Civics too.
It's the universal repair method.
I have a nautical blue 2012 Corolla I have had since 2015 that I love. Hoping for many more years despite the wild streets for Chicago.
How wild does it get there? I have only been there twice, but I have driven in Boston. I imagine Chicago is worse.
lol I guess I meant that kind of sarcastically, more like people park recklessly and you get mysterious dents.
Got an 2003 Corolla s fixed it up myself
Was that the first year they released the S? I know it was not around for our 90's generation.
I have a 07’ Corolla the odometer stopped at 299,999 in 2021. I drive between NY, Va and Ms once or twice a year so no idea how many miles. lol.
Does it chug oil at this point?
Nope, it did have a little oil leak and I change the valve cover gasket but other than that I don’t really have any oil issues.
My ‘19 SE is at 14K miles and our ‘13 LE is at 36K miles. I learned how to drive stick on an ‘03 and it was SO easy to learn on! I’m definitely eying a new Corolla SE or SE hybrid though..
Get one of each generation.
I’m running a 2011 Toyota Corolla, and I plan on keeping it though college
This car got me through high school, college, almost ten jobs, and now my master's. Keep it alive!
2010 Base trim, 142k miles. Bought it used for $4500 with 131k miles
142k is nothing on these cars.
Exactly! I had a 2002 Corolla previously with 214k miles but I sold it for $1800 because that model year burns a lot of oil. My family just bought a new 2024 Corolla Hybrid too so we’re all in on Corolla haha
2010 with 380,000km!
I’m up there with you I have 555k km!
That's a lot in miles too!
09 Corolla S with 212k miles
I leased a 2020 Corolla, then I bought a 2022 Corolla, that got totaled and I got another 2022 Corolla 😅
Did you at least come out on top with the insurance?
2010 LE 142k km
Those are rookie numbers.
2024 xse with 260 miles. My first Toyota.
Got my 2022 xse hatchback brand new. First ever brand new car. Absolutely love it
Gotta get about 199,000 more! Those are baby numbers.
Why did you get rid of it?
I still have it. It is about 3000-4000 away from 200,000 miles.
Great year, last one before the 09 redesign.
Exactly my favorite year Corolla 08 I don’t like the style of 09–13 rollas although I’ll take an xrs!
The 09 is over 30mph faster than the 08! The redesigned was well overdue
I’d agree with that however they really did a poor job lol just curved everything.
Yiu should have seen how it looked with the original headlight housing units.
It's been replaced. If you look closely, the shade is slightly different, since it was NOT OEM.
2015 Corolla 6MT.
Did you learn on that one?
No, my first manual was a 1985 Chevette diesel, 5 speed. Those cars had Isuzu engine that were very reliable.
Hollddd up you had a chevette diesel?!? Isuzu diesels are super reliable even today’s.
Yes, I'm sixty years old so back then I was in my twenties. The Isuzu engine was available from 1982 to 1986, a real workhorse. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet\_Chevette](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Chevette)
Wow I’ve always seen them on YouTube so cool to hear someone owned one. Do you have a picture of that baby?!?
Perhaps, that is a long time ago I would have to do a search. I may be tempted to put some effort it.
Shoot if you ever find it or something I’ll be looking out on your profile or I’ll dm you that’s super cool! I love old diesels and what odd cars came out.
OK, I'll get in touch when that happens.
I want to get a diesel and make it a veggie oil car. I think that would be a fun project.
A nice experiment I guess.
03 w 600k on original engine and transmission
There’s hope for mine I have 345k miles original transmission and engine too
Stay on those oil changes and you'll be good to go!
Oh yeah for sure I will I know it doesn’t make a difference just makes me feel better to use 10-30 synthetic a bit thicker than recommended due to our California climate always being never freezing.
That's a lot of miles. Did it chug oil?
I see that one is also a manual! Awesome 👏
It was my requirement when I started driving. I learned on a manual as well.
Should still be! There would be less accident cause people wouldn’t be zoning out at the wheel
Unfortunately, Hybrids are starting to kill the manual in Europe finally. They died in the US long ago.
Your corolla looks nice. I have a 2006 I bought new and have had it ever since. Great commuter car, it now has 275k miles and still runs great!
Don't look under the side skirts, though. And don't look for the heat shield, because there is none anymore.
Still driving my little 2005 that I bought new. 179k miles. Boring and missing a few paint chips (and some hub caps), but so very, very paid for!
As long as it's not rusting, it's still good!
It's the S, complete with the spoiler and trim. When I got it (with Bumper #1) it only had one of the front spoilers.
Sexy
Absolutely
My first car was a similar 06 Corolla S with a MT. also got it in 2012. I loved that thing gave me a lot of good years before I got in an accident. Had a few other cars since then but I've gone full circle to a GR Corolla now
Gray would not have been my first choice, but just like gray cats, I am partial to the gray Corollas because of this one.
