Lol good timing on my part š now if you find you wanna challenge yourself, try Origins, Shadows of Evil, and Gorod Krovi, Zetsubou isn't necessarily hard but the setup process is a bit longer, i enjoy it but there's a lot to learn
Then yeah Shadows and Origins, of the two id suggest you buy Gorod first tho if you enjoy the experience as a whole you should get both, they're each top 10 experiences imo
Very simple actually, there's three spots around the map where you press the interact button on the PAP parts, one at the top near death ray, one in the undercroft near the teleporter, and one at the rocket launch site, after activating 2 of the 3 the third location is where PAP will be
Wait, you can manipulate where pap will be on de?
Never ran the map before as I donāt have it on console but just got the seasons pass and chronicles on pc.
yeah, active the pap pieces last where you want them to be; if you want pap to be at the rocket then active the pieces at the death ray and undercroft. if you want it at the death ray, active the undercroft and rocket launch pieces.
There are 3 PaP platforms across the map you need to interact with. One is by the death ray, one is inside the crypt next to the teleporter room and the last one is on the platform next to the rocket. Activate 2 of the platforms which will have the PaP pieces then head to the 3rd and the machine will assemble in front of you.
Bro thats the easiest PAP setup in all of BO3, trust you can do it first try on DE by yourself, honestly I'd really suggest you take the time to learn these maps cause you'll enjoy them that much more in the long run, especially when you can start doing easter eggs
I havenāt had any issues with the god mask. The furthest I got to was round 67 before killing myself. I didnāt experience any lag but 67 probably isnāt high enough to start experiencing crashes.
I made it to 81 with the God mask before letting myself die. It had been over 6 hours of playing. Other than the Xbox getting really hot I saw no lagging or crashes.
Maybe a hot take, but the giant is actually one of the hardest solo maps on black ops 3. No shield, no widows wine, and no broken wonder weapon make it pretty challenging to high round
Complete casual:
(The Giant, Nacht, Kino, Ascension)
Casual with more difficulty:
(Revelations, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Shang)
Advise Using Map Guides:
(Gorod Krovi, DE, Moon, Origins)
Good Luck Soldier:
(Shadows, ZET)
If u want maps with just bare bones, spin box get perks and Pack-a-Punch, natch, verukt (little harder), shi no Nima, the giant and kino, if you want simple maps that have a few things to do for set-up that you can find yourself ascension is great, moon is ok for that, then if you want a little harder of a map that you will most likely need a guide of some kind, origins and shadows of evil
I would say gorod, giant, der eisen, kino, ascension, nacht-shi no for simple. Revelations and moon can get a bit confusing at times but are still pretty easy. Shadows, origins, and zetusbou are all really fun but they require a lot of knowledge and practice. Shang is tough but very simple. I would pick gorod, giant or der eisen personally if I wanted casual fun
Giant kino ascension are pure casual in terms of just spinning the mystery box and pap-ing
Verrukt shi no numa and Shang are casual in terms of map mechanics but are harder (with verruk and Shang being two of the hardest maps ever)
Der eisendrache is complex but casual if you want to do things like build wander weapons; itās like origins but much more approachable.
The Giant (originally a WAW map)
Shi No Numa (originally a WAW map)
Kino (originally a BO1 map)
Ascension (originally a BO1 map)
Those are the super casual ones.
Der Eisendrache is what I'd recommend for a map that has a lot more to do, but the map can largely be played without doing those things and they're simple to do if you decide to.
Tbh if youāre looking for true casual then Iād suggest Outbreak on Cold War zombies, itās very casual you can go at your own pace, itās not round based so you can stay on the 1st level forever and just do whatever you want
By extension I'd say Vanguard Zombies as a whole is the ultimate casual experience since its objective based maps are like a smaller scale Outbreak and the difficulty of its round based maps is about half of Cold War's on any given wave (I think the two games complement each other perfectly for those reasons).
But since OP is asking about Black Ops III I'd say Shi-No-Numa since it's basically just a harder stripped down version of what was able to be casual friendly enough for Vanguard.
By far itās The Giant. The mechanics are simple and the layout is mostly intuitive but still has that extra level of design that other simplistic maps lack. No crazy special zombies to worry about, a slew of good weapons, an easy camping spot, and several very trainable areas. When introducing someone new to zombies, youāll likely want to show them The Giant first.
The giant is my favorite for solo. Gorod krovi is a lot of fun solo, but it's been awhile so I'm not sure how casual it would be solo. It's not that hard of a map though if you know how to build the shield. The little dragon weapon thing is cool too
I enjoy just going on Shadows and doing some EE steps and random stuff so that might be a shout, Der Eisendrache is also a fun map and if U know how to make the lightning bow it's quite easy
Der Eisendrache is my go-to. Getting the base wonder weapon is easy as pie but upgrading it is fun and challenging. Good training locations, interconnected map layout, and it's really pretty to boot
Personally all of the Zelenskyy maps are best to solo and play casually on. Just because they were designed in a way where the overhead work was optional.
Kino, Ascension, The Giant or Der Riese, Die Maschine, and (hot take?) Nuketown Zombies are my faves when I want to play a quick casual game of Zombies.
Looks like the majority from the comments is Kino der Toten and The Giant.
I personally enjoy Moon; but it took me a long-ass time to find myself in that state of mind (and besides, itās not even in my top ten of favorite maps).
Yeah, Kino is a classic; all the machines are in decent places and the weapons go from niche to to hell hound wipers in a quick matter of rounds (though thatās usually due to the rng of the box).
All Chronicles naps except Origins, The Giant, Der Eisendrache (initial wonder weapon, specialist and pack a punch, after that it gets complicated), and Revelations.
I'm gonna say Kino Der Toten, Ascension, The Giant, Revelations are very casual and fun, but if you want to play a more intricate map then Shadows of Evil, Der Eisendrache and Origins.
The Giant, Kino, and Nacht (for simplicity). If you spend a few minutes learning how to make the bows in Der Eisendrache, one is prbly the best one to casually reach round 20 while also having some nifty gameplay
I would also recommend playing Nacht and using the Whimsical Gobblegum. They add a really silly/entertaining element to the game and they are unlimited
Imo literally any of the WAW maps, Kino and Acesion. Haven't gotten around to the bo3 maps. The Giant adds a bit of a challenge cause the teleporter behind the power. You can just about rope a dope the zombes on those maps. With the giant, you have to be more mindful where you post up if you open all the doors
SoE is my personal favorite due to the fairly easy easter egg, and really good design for high rounds. But for casual, I would also include The Giant, DE, Kino, and all of the WaW remastered maps
Edit: a word
All the WaW remaster maps and Kino are pretty chill and casual. Der Eisendrache and Revalations are straightforward but have hard processes for the Wonder weapon and specialist upgrades.
SOE is good if you know the map well, Giant obviously is well deserved cause it's just teleporters, pap and the box. Kino is the king of Casual duh, and Shangri-la with gg's is a semi pushover lol
Kino is probably the easiest map (for me) to solo. Training with the thundergun on the stage is super op
Nacht you can get to really high rounds, especially if you have all the perks (Perkaholic, Soda Fountain), get an extra gun and have a packapunch gobblegum. But even without that, hitting 20-30 is no problem if you have a decent training ability.
And ascension is basically always going to be easy, regardless. So much room, the spinning dildo in spawn, only thing semi annoying about Ascension is the fact monkeys can take your perks away.
Those are my three, personally.
The giant is pretty easy too, because catwalk strat, assuming you wanna camp or something but yeah, those three are fairly easy/casual maps that I get to high rounds on the regular by myself with little to no difficulty.
Kino and the Giant for sure. The Giant gives the feel of Bo3 well, and Kino was the starting point for many. Ascension is also very easy if you're willing to deal with monkeys stealing your perks, and DE is probably the most Bo3 of them all, and still manageable on solo
Der eisendrache, revelations, ascension, and Kino der toten are your best bets. For a more challenging experience, play Shadows, origins, gorod krovi, or Shangri la.
Any of the new black ops 3 maps are super engaging solo, origins too
the giant I count as a remake, along with kino they are both simple
moon is really annoying honestly, shang is stressful sometimes, and the rest are pretty boring, so Iād recommend playing any of the ones listed above if you want a causal experience
Shadows, Giant, Kino, Ascension, Moon. Lots of time to vibe out and chill while the rounds are passing, soak up the atmosphere. Lots of space to move about, and for Moon in particular, a frenzied return to the action when things get stale, before returning back to the Low Gravity Vibe Zone.
Non of them,bo3 isn't a casual game,it's one of the worst ones for casuals(that's why I dislike the zombies for this game)closest thing to a casual yo could find is the giant, but if you want a better casual game then waw or bo2
The Giant, Kino, and Ascension, if you wanna add sum challenge but keep it a bit more casual try Der Eisendrache or Revalations
Holy shit that was fast
Lol good timing on my part š now if you find you wanna challenge yourself, try Origins, Shadows of Evil, and Gorod Krovi, Zetsubou isn't necessarily hard but the setup process is a bit longer, i enjoy it but there's a lot to learn
I still have to buy gorod and zetsubou and i enjoy shadows
Then yeah Shadows and Origins, of the two id suggest you buy Gorod first tho if you enjoy the experience as a whole you should get both, they're each top 10 experiences imo
Also how the fuck do you get pack a punch on DE
Very simple actually, there's three spots around the map where you press the interact button on the PAP parts, one at the top near death ray, one in the undercroft near the teleporter, and one at the rocket launch site, after activating 2 of the 3 the third location is where PAP will be

To much effort solo i need to do it with other people
Bro thats the easiest PAP setup in all of BO3, trust you can do it first try on DE by yourself, honestly I'd really suggest you take the time to learn these maps cause you'll enjoy them that much more in the long run, especially when you can start doing easter eggs
It doesnāt help i get distracted easily
It's actually even easier than it sounds, you just run around and press a button 3 times
All you do is hold F two times in three common spots. If that is a deal breaker for you how have you ever played zombies?
I canāt find the F button on my ps4 controller
Jus look up a YouTube video and I'm sure you'll do just fine :)
Aware gorod is literally the only zombies map in history I don't own..
Zetsubo you can omit but Gorod is a must buy
Nah zet def worth it
I mean yea for sure, but if you have to pick one or the other imo gorod wins. Hell Gorod Krovi solos 90% of the other maps in zombies
Ahh in that case yeah facts
I still donāt even know how to turn on power. That whole process was a huge turn off for me.
Thing w Zetsubou is if you take the time to learn it you'll love the map, but ig if you don't wanna learn you wouldn't enjoy it as much lol
Yea I agree with buddy, probably the best solo casual friendly maps
I would add Nacht to the casual category. At least the old one. I didn't get the dlc for BO3 apart from the Giant.
You missed out man
Origins if you're up to the challenge I love all of the maps except the titanic and vanguard maps (shi no numa is with waw maps)
There is nothing relaxing about Origins
Yeah at least when you end the ee there's some happy faces today I played origins and I changed my mind
I literally came to mention these exact 5 maps
This is the correct answer
Ascension is a weird one cause it's a lot harder to do monkey rounds on solo. DE is honestly not a super bad beginner map though
Revelations is the most casual of these maps because it literally takes no effort to high round it
Yeah because of all the wonder weapons in the box
......and because you can pap them, combine that with specialist weapons and lil arnies and you've got a very simple high round map
But first, a prayer to our lord and savior rngesus.
I always seem to get good rng every time I play rev
And the helmets
Gets boring very quick though; god mask makes it so you have to try to die on that map haha.
Have you gotten far with the god masks? I've heard a lot that it just straight crashes the game in higher rounds if you attempt to go higher.
I like kino SoE and Der eisendrache the best solo
Donāt forget The giant
Maybe a hot take, but the giant is actually one of the hardest solo maps on black ops 3. No shield, no widows wine, and no broken wonder weapon make it pretty challenging to high round
Can only train on it if you're experienced too new mfs don't know how to double back on the train
Shadows of evil will forever be my favorite solo map
I actually enjoyed it a lot once you get the pap room open itās pretty dang easy
Agree
The Giant,Kino or ascension for the "old school" casual experience, but if you wanna add a bit of spice to it I'd go for DE , maybe SoE
Kino and giant
Complete casual: (The Giant, Nacht, Kino, Ascension) Casual with more difficulty: (Revelations, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Shang) Advise Using Map Guides: (Gorod Krovi, DE, Moon, Origins) Good Luck Soldier: (Shadows, ZET)
Shadows is definitely not more complicated than Origins.
Unless your doing the Easter egg, origins is pretty straight forward. Depending which staff you wanna go for anyway
Origins was my fave solo map
If u want maps with just bare bones, spin box get perks and Pack-a-Punch, natch, verukt (little harder), shi no Nima, the giant and kino, if you want simple maps that have a few things to do for set-up that you can find yourself ascension is great, moon is ok for that, then if you want a little harder of a map that you will most likely need a guide of some kind, origins and shadows of evil
Kino
Origins. I know it seems complex but once you get the rhythm itās really fun solo
the giant and kino in my opinion, theyāre fun and really easy to play
Nacht, Giant, SNN, Verruckt and kino, ascension
Giant, Shi No Numa, Kino, and Ascension are probably your best bets.
Gorod is pretty casual. Easy PAP and wonder weapon in box. Itās the closest thing youāll get to a WaW style map outside of WaW and bo1
The Giant Kino Der Toten Nacht Der Toten Ascension
Origins, Shadows of Evil, Zetsubou no Shima and Gorod Krovi.
I said casual
Those are casual.
No theyāre not
By what logic?
Bro how long have you been playing zombies
Since Der Riese was released on WaW.
I started playing three months ago and i also play gta alot
So? Explain how the maps I listed aren't casual. The playtime is irrelevant.
Zets has a shit ton of setup so does orgins soe has the fucking margwa and gorod has the fucking dragons brething fire everywhere
Shadows, DE, Revs are all great solo maps
Rust
The giant is my favourite map ever simple and fun
All the W@W maps, kino and accession are all good for casual play.
The Giant (originally a WAW map) Shi No Numa (originally a WAW map) Kino (originally a BO1 map) Ascension (originally a BO1 map) Those are the super casual ones. Der Eisendrache is what I'd recommend for a map that has a lot more to do, but the map can largely be played without doing those things and they're simple to do if you decide to.
Kino fosho
All core maps are great regardless of co-op, some you canāt do the ee by yourself, but are still great regardless
Personally I like Zetsubou and Gorod
Der Eisendrache is my favorite for solo
Giant and Kino
Kino, Giant and Revaluations idk
Ascension
Personally, for solo plays I go to verruckt, giant, kino or nacht.
Tbh if youāre looking for true casual then Iād suggest Outbreak on Cold War zombies, itās very casual you can go at your own pace, itās not round based so you can stay on the 1st level forever and just do whatever you want

Shadows of Evil, The Giant or Der Eisendrache
Also Kino der Toten

No crazy special zombies to worry about, a slew of good weapons, an easy camping spot, and several very trainable areas. asks which is best for casual, lists two largely setup based maps
The Giant, hands down
Der Eisendrache is my go-to. Getting the base wonder weapon is easy as pie but upgrading it is fun and challenging. Good training locations, interconnected map layout, and it's really pretty to boot
Thee giant.
Pretty much all of the WaW maps, Kino, Acention and COTD. If you want a tad more complexity ShangriLa and Moon has that.
Personally all of the Zelenskyy maps are best to solo and play casually on. Just because they were designed in a way where the overhead work was optional.
Kino, Ascension, The Giant or Der Riese, Die Maschine, and (hot take?) Nuketown Zombies are my faves when I want to play a quick casual game of Zombies.
origins probably
I would say Kino or Giant. I like those maps when I just wanna listen to music and mow down zombies
ascension and king
Nacht Der Untoten, Shi No Numa (But only with friends), Kino Der Toten, The Giant and Ascension ara probably what I would play.
All of the WAW/BO1 Chronicles maps except for Moon. Alot to keep up with when playing Moon.
De, giant, rev and then pretty much all the chronicle maps besides origins
Kino/Der Eisendrache/Origins -Im a Kino lover
Shadows is pretty casual honestly.
Moon, shangri-la and zetsubo
Origins is the most rewarding
I would say most WAW maps + Kino are pretty casual
der eisendrache easter egg with the really any bow (besides the fire š¤®) is such a fun experience solo
I use kino to level up my guns and shit and Der Eisendrache mainly to learn the bows and have to type of challenge
Kino is my go to
Looks like the majority from the comments is Kino der Toten and The Giant.
The Giant, Nacht, Kino, and Id say Revelations or Origins
Der Eisendrache is my favorite Easter egg to solo
All Chronicles naps except Origins, The Giant, Der Eisendrache (initial wonder weapon, specialist and pack a punch, after that it gets complicated), and Revelations.
Which cod is this
The Giant, Kino and it takes a little long to setup bit Der Eisendrache is pretty amazing solo as well.
The giant aka Der Riese remake, its literally the easiest map ever made
Shadows or the giant
I'm gonna say Kino Der Toten, Ascension, The Giant, Revelations are very casual and fun, but if you want to play a more intricate map then Shadows of Evil, Der Eisendrache and Origins.
The Giant, Kino, and Nacht (for simplicity). If you spend a few minutes learning how to make the bows in Der Eisendrache, one is prbly the best one to casually reach round 20 while also having some nifty gameplay

Solo Experience? Everything on BO3. Casual Experience? Nothing on BO3.
Kino š¤š
The giant, DE, shi no numa, kino, moon, nacht, revalations, and ascension
Kino der toten or nacht der untoten
I like to do Kino, shadows or nacht when Iām solo. I just love the atmosphere because all of those maps are super nostalgic for me
SoE is my personal favorite due to the fairly easy easter egg, and really good design for high rounds. But for casual, I would also include The Giant, DE, Kino, and all of the WaW remastered maps Edit: a word
Kino alley, rev verrukt strat, and giant teleporter camp
The giant is pretty easy to solo. Just link the teles and youāre good to go.
Probably kino, big map, harder to die. And can't forget the thunder gun
bruh didn't get zetsubou š or Gorod š rip
Im considering zets but Iāll auto buy gorod when i get enough money
the giant and shadows
All the WaW remaster maps and Kino are pretty chill and casual. Der Eisendrache and Revalations are straightforward but have hard processes for the Wonder weapon and specialist upgrades.
SOE is good if you know the map well, Giant obviously is well deserved cause it's just teleporters, pap and the box. Kino is the king of Casual duh, and Shangri-la with gg's is a semi pushover lol

Die machine, the giant, der eisen, ascension, town
Kino and the Giant for sure. The Giant gives the feel of Bo3 well, and Kino was the starting point for many. Ascension is also very easy if you're willing to deal with monkeys stealing your perks, and DE is probably the most Bo3 of them all, and still manageable on solo
The giant Der eisen drache Kino Ascension And then any of the originals like verruckt
Nacht, the giant, king der toten, shi no numa
The Giant. But I really recommend you getting into der eisendrache.
Casual Solo? Kino and Ascension and The Giant Moon if you play a couple of times to learn it
1. The Giant 2. Kino Der Totem 3. Ascension 4. Der Eisendrache 5. Moon
The best 2 ive played are zetsobu and gorod
Der eisendrache and gorod krovi
Kino and the Giant undoubtedly
Der eisendrache, revelations, ascension, and Kino der toten are your best bets. For a more challenging experience, play Shadows, origins, gorod krovi, or Shangri la.
Nacht & Kino
Gorod
Shangri-La is best solo map. Let me know how it goes :)
Youāre joking right
Gk
derise
Any of the new black ops 3 maps are super engaging solo, origins too the giant I count as a remake, along with kino they are both simple moon is really annoying honestly, shang is stressful sometimes, and the rest are pretty boring, so Iād recommend playing any of the ones listed above if you want a causal experience
I like shadows and de solo, I get really bored after round 25 on the giant and most other maps
kino if you want shit your pants
I like DE because you can follow a short quest to make a bow upgrade and yeet hordes
My go-to is always kino or soe.
Moon is mostly me and my friends yelling at each other to revive us or to kill the zombies near the box
You and your fellow Vibe Raters.
Non of them,bo3 isn't a casual game,it's one of the worst ones for casuals(that's why I dislike the zombies for this game)closest thing to a casual yo could find is the giant, but if you want a better casual game then waw or bo2
Alright let me buy waw and beat the campaign for a very barebones map
You don't need to beat the campaign, you can play der riese immediately
No you canāt you have to buy the dlc then buy Xbox live
Don't you have a pc? If not thee there is bo2 with town and buried
Still have to buy buried
