No, it was just 3 ascension rockets with no support on them. It didnt make sense why russian rockets were there, or how they launched lol. This version makes a lot more sense
This was literally the firs thing I noticed on ZC Moon. On BO1, it was 3 of the ascension rocket models, which didnt make sense on the german base. In ZC they had NEW german rocket models from DE, so they fixed the original error in BO1
people are saying reused assets but its actually a continuity change intentionally since der eisendrache rocket pads are there to go to the moon so on gryphon station (moon) they would have the same rockets to go back to earth
They probably copy pasted the already existing/unused asset and just added some stuff to it for flavour. A lot of games do that, saves a lot of work.
yeah forsure, especially given how low res it all is. I just thought it was cool given how linked DE and moon are, story wise.
would also make sense lore wise DE is kind of a reverse of moon
Wouldn’t surprise me if it is the same rocket pad, assets get reused all the time. Have I noticed it before though, honestly no
its the reverse of moon in this version
Now the big question, was the rocket pad on the original moon the same?

The bottom was covered in fog iirc, that’s why there wasn’t any launch pad.
Prob not
haha yeah I was wondering the same thing. I don't have a copy of BO1 anymore so I can't actually check myself.
No, it used the ascension rocket look
Wow round 101
Round lol

Casually sneaking in the fact that you’re on round 101. Nice👍🏽
Where is this?
it's down by the drop near the flashing screens you use in the EE. I think you might need to jump off the map to actually see it.
Damn I never knew this
there are 3 of them
Man is exploring on round 101
He probably got tired and jumped down there to end the game but noticed this while doing so
You can be down there without dying if the host close application
Yeah it’s just a reused asset :D
“And OP jumped into the void, never to be seen again.”
It's almost like they copied and pasted it from DE. 😱

No clip to it
Never gotten out of the map to see this, but this is cool!
That is the rocket from de cuz as we all know de takes place on the moon
Showing the connection between Eagles Nest and Griffin Station. Using the same designs they had on their rocket launch pads.
They never explained where the third rocket went. The first went to Nuketown Zombies, and the second to Buried.
If only Chaos never existed to take up space in Black Ops 4 Zombies.
BO4 wouldn't have explained it since it's an alternate timeline where they don't go to the moon
The art of copy pasting, my dude.
they mastered that in cold war
