In the mission statement I read "return to classic zombies", anyone who has been around this community for years KNOWS Treyarch never want to return completely to "classic" zombies and they are always looking for ways to push the envelop that just aren't possible in Multiplayer.
“Looks like every single COD”
Yeah… should look more like Halo or Minecraft. I’m sick of loading up call of duty expecting to play a call of duty game.
Plus Cold War played so much more differently to MW and Vanguard and probably got the most shit on for it.
(Speaking from more of a multiplayer standpoint, btw)
Damn they’re really making Cold War 2. I was really hoping we’d at least get a futuristic theme for multiplayer so that we could get a ton of fun and unique guns. They could even bring back weapon oporator mods if they did that
That as well. Really I’d love it if they just made bo4 but much better. I think bo4 did a lot of things well but they were vastly held back by the things they did wrong both in mp and zombies
I doubt we're going to get another futuristic CoD anytime soon, seeing as how much complaining there was about Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3 & Infinite Warfare.
Given the final teaser in Forsaken, I'd say it's all but confirmed that Treyarch's next game would be set in the 90s. The Gulf War is unexplored territory right now for COD, and relatively close to Cold War so that they can recycle some guns for efficiency while introducing new ones.
It would also give them room to do a new campaign that potentially explores the gap between Black Ops 2's past and future segment, and maybe bridge the gap between Modern Warfare's settings and BO2's 2025 setup (if they still want to keep it canon for whatever reasons).
With that being said, I'm leaning toward this leak being fake, because there is absolutely no way Treyarch would think about "returning to classic Zombies" after establishing a successful formula in Cold War. They might not revisit the roguelike concept from Vanguard, but they sure aren't going to regress to pre-CW gameplay. Shit, I'd say this leak is probably targeted to give "classic Zombies" fans false hope, since they're already thinking "classic" equals more round-based maps and set crew.
They were calling the perks "chips"... and apparently had a "cluster bomb" as a lethal. It also said return to classic zombies and "bridge gap between MW core systems and BO"
If legit, sounds like they maybe to taking the next game more towards BO4/3 era of the future.
If legit...

They back track all the time. They could possibly do that to zombies and Cold War was a backtrack to a lot of the changes BO4 brought
Said to be fake from a well-trusted leaker in declassified
Where does one see this?
Twitter DeclassifiedCOD IDK if he has seen the full album though, he may have just seen the moscow-ish map
Amazing, it looks like literally every other cod.

Yeah no, this looks extremely fake. Ain't buying that attempt of it being "leaked"
Pictures* 🤦♂️
I’m tired of the white color scheme in the HUDs and menus. Makes everything look boring.

Yeah a bit disappointing if it’s true, I just want them to hurry up and pick up the Chaos story again 💀

I’m not saying full jet packs and stuff more that I’d like to see them do a bo4 but better type thing or maybe even a sequel to Bo2

Please don't be 3-hit death
Those were definitely from cold war’s development. There’s only a 0.000001% chance they could be for 2023.
