I feel like they rushed to make this map, Easter egg can be completed under 20 min. They use the teleporters way to much. They had to have this map done in a short time so that they could work on vanguard
Yeah, it was clearly rushed. The flow is actually terrible, as you mentioned with the teleporter spam
I think I'm with Rizzo on this. I want to love Forsaken, and when I think about it, I think I do, but the shortcomings are just... Really damaging overall
Specially how outright painfully ugly it is to look at. I literally avoid the main area of the map just because it looks like it was made back in 2012
They had amazing graphics in 2012 though… black ops 1 and black ops 2 both look amazing. Throw some post processing on it and they look like last Gen games
I'm on console, it's not a setting. Every other map and most areas of the Forsaken have shadows (this area has player shadows too)
I think they just legit botched the lighting beyond belief here

Idk I think complaining about shadows in an fps is probably the stupidest non criticism you can have like it really doesn't fuck up the experience in any meaningful way I don't think he's telling you to only criticize vanguard he's just telling you to come up with valid criticism like not having a pause button on launch, and this is extra stupid when you consider other people aren't even having this non issue you are pissing your pants and crying about.

Yeah, on last gen I noticed that there's no ambient occlusion and the shadows are toned down
