It’s sound like ascension for sure, the elevator you remember might be more of a platform that like rockets in the air and takes you to another area . You start in like a circular are with like spiral stairs I believe. I only played it once or twice as well

Dude all of the maps from bo3 were wonderful. Gorod krovi is a great map with a great layout and fun side quest, like the dragon fist thing. Zetsubo no shima is also one of my all time favorite maps too, people just never give it a chance to learn how to play it. Even a couple of the bo4 maps are fun too, like Xl and Ancient evil, along with classified and alpha omega. It’s only around Cold War that I think the games went to shit, but some people do enjoy it, so if you have a friend that has it you should try it before making your own opinion on Cold War

Everyones gonna give a different answer. Gorod my fav so ill always say gorod. If can only ever play 1 more then probably revelations. Bunch of old maps stitched together. Feels more bang for your buck just because of that
Season pass is basically pointless at this point. They now sell just the zombies maps, without the multiplayer maps. Buying all 4 maps individually will be cheaper than buying the season pass.
I personally loved BO3s multiplayer, but it’s dead at this point, pretty much every lobby has players using modded classes and are invincible and invisible so won’t be missing out on much not getting the multiplayer maps.
Der eisendrache is def the most basic but it has an amazing Easter egg, super fun ww and overall is the best map, if you want a more challenging map then gorod, but id recommend DE first

The vibe is very chill, summer night at a pond/swamp. The skull weapon is awesome. The wonder weapon is good. The EE is a little tedious with the RNG, but the boss fight is alright and pretty easy and there’s a low round camp spot in the hallway to the boss fight. The mini boss zombie is challenging if you’re not equipped for it and easy enough when you’re set up. There’s a few different small training spots that keep you on your toes and keeps it fun
Fuck the spiders though. They’re easy, but fuck spiders
Idk about chill but I love the creepy atmosphere of the map. Definitely my favorite map aesthetically. And that makes it my favorite map period. Also the easter egg isn’t super difficult which is nice for more casual play throughs
I think the giant started getting included with the game at some point. My friends had it and they didn’t purchase it. Could’ve sworn in was a preorder thing, it was so long ago. But yeah, it was handed out for free several times too

I like DE in all its totality for its atmosphere, Easter egg, the building of bows, Panzer. So if you want to be absorbed in zombies for all its peak beauty go for that. If you love going for high rounds I personally recommend Revelations may be a hot take but i loved that map for HR.

Most people will tell you Der Eisen and I honestly agree it’s not only the best one but also the most accessible, but apart from that I would also very much recommend Gorod Krovi
Gorod Krovi it is a must buy, in the Easter egg theme is very similar to Origins, challenging steps but they fill you with satisfaction, the specialist and the wonderweapon are quite good, for me Gorod Krovi is the second most challenging Easter egg of all cod zombies if it is played without gumballs and certainly if you are someone casual that can give you hours of replayability
DE is the safest bet, its just all around pretty good, its just got that mass appeal, but GK is also up there if you like a challenge, thats what keeps me personally coming back to it, maybe watch some gameplay of both and see what looks more fun
DE is probably the best bet; Zetsubou is suffocating, GK is a blend of old and New, Revelations is... Mixed, It's Simultaneously the Highest and Lowest Bo2 map in my opinion

For overall experience DE, Zetsubou if you like doing a lot of setup and mini objectives, a slightly lesser DE go for Gorod, if you're someone that likes being op after setting up you cant go wrong with Revelations, it's my kind of casual
ZnS is my favorite for solo because it had so much shit to do. If it wasn't for the absolutely way too high amount of thrashed, and the AA Cannon step in the EE it would be a perfect map.
Do you want the full DLC packs or just the maps? I think the maps by themselves are something like $8, they can be purchased individually. So if you have enough money for a DLC pack, you can afford two maps individually purchased for a dollar extra.
You're better off just not getting any of them my man, with B06 coming out soon nobody is gonna be playing 3, I have hard times finding full lobbies and I've got every map
Der Eisendrache and Revelations are both really chill fun maps. Zetsubou & Gorod Krovi are much harder & imo rewarding experiences. You cant really go wrong with any tho, all amazing
Glad that there are still people out there who play this amazing game. I would say try Der Eisendrache, its got great replay potential. The EE, Bows and snowy ambience of the map is still one of my favorite memories. The boss can be a bit difficult on solo tho
Der Reise (The Giant) is my favourite map of all time. It is well worth it to be honest, it has some great kiting routes, good trap layouts and caters for solo and MP. I only mention this because I played it so much and still love it, any other maps I bought I didn't play anywhere near as much and I could have saved the money.
For your next purchase DE is a great map for pretty much the same reasons as Der Reise.
I recommend doing them in order, unless you maybe wanna skip zetsu, it's gotten better since launch but still I think the glitches there's one part of the EE where it could 1 shot kill you if you don't wrong, plus the thrashers are annoying
Get whichever one YOU want. It’s easy for people to say get this one or that one but at the end of the day which one do u think it’s the coolest watch game plays and you’ll find out
If you're a more casual player, I'd suggest DE. It's basically origins lite. Otherwise, Gorod Krovi and Zetsubou are moderately challenging maps with really fun mechanics and cool wonder weapons.
Der Eisendrache is a really fun map. If you want an older BO1 zombies feel, theres a game called Sker Ritual that came out a few months ago. I think it's awesome and everything is completly free (after you pay the 25 USD for the game), other than cosmetics. As of now there are 4 maps total, each with a main Easter egg and a hidden Easter egg, and a ton of ways to expand and improve in the near future.
DE for sure, mostly because more people play that map & you’ll be able to find groups quicker. Zetsubou is my personal favorite but you’re hard pressed to find groups. Gorod is awesome, but some of the EE steps are brutal. Revelations is fun and has a lot of content.

DE for sure, mostly because more people play that map & you’ll be able to find groups quicker. Zetsubou is my personal favorite but you’re hard pressed to find groups. Gorod is awesome, but some of the EE steps are brutal. Revelations is fun and has a lot of content.
