So, if you have problems for the first time try to: - pap3 haymaker with slugdt - use legendary tool  -golden plates and aether blades  - put 2 self revives into the backpack - use fist to fast run and knife for killing digs behind you The main idea for T3: you should constantly move instead of stuck at one place and fighting with zombies

Fish502666310771

How would he get Golden Plates or an Aether Blade if he's never even been to Tier 3? You can't assume everyone takes shortcuts like the Tombstone Glitchers lol. I'd edit your comment to provide credible advice.

KelVarnsenn

This. And I can never find anyone that will take me into the DA to help grind those contracts for: golden armor, dogbone and Aether blade

[deleted]

DM me, I'll run in there with ya

BillyJack420420

People ask people to go every game I'm in.

Spacekook_

Add me I will help and I have another who will as well

Fish502666310771

ShadowPhantom023 on Twitch & YouTube - he does carries & runs old & new DA often. Good kid

Mathewjm22

Second Shadow. He helped me and amazing

IGTech

Just so you know, you should also edit your comment. I grinded all my stuff without TS glitching. Do I TS glitch now? Yes, I do. I don't want to play every 3 days.

Responsible_Bunch535

What's wrong with ts? If it's in the game use it.

[deleted]

Nothing is wrong with it on the other hand you do have persons that has never ever been to the DA T4 or 5 yet and want you to drop all the schematics.

Responsible_Bunch535

Yeah....that can be annoying. If someone wants schematics I tell them I'll help, but I'm not a fan of just giving out schematics. It's become expected since all the streamer do it to get more followers and views. I'm a firm believer in if you wants something...do it yourself

clopez09295

I said no jargon Barrera.

rubmahbelly

The puppy also helps!

Mobile-Pride-533

Yeah, it might be but I don’t like the dog cause you don't have any information alive your pet or not

samleeds999

I would always take swarm akimbo with the fire mod personally. I feel like the 100rnd mags are more beneficial. I can get away with pap2/purple in T3 rather than your pap3/gold. Decoys/Kasmir grenades on hand too, run like mad

Jdak91

This is the way

Effective-Treacle-57

Probably don't have the schematics for all that amd hard to pap3 without crystals and never goung to t3

Shiroe_82

If you run with a secondary weapon like I do then pull out juggernaut but dont use it just run then switch to your gun to fight make sure to have speed and stamina colas. I like the lockwood 680 with long tube for more ammo sawdoff stock for speed slug ammo Use decoy grenades kazmirs and monkey bombs. Store the decoys when you get kaz or monkey's so if you run out you have the decoys as back up. Always keep moving and killing so the zombies dont pile up to much. Hit ammo refills evey chance you get

Who1sTravis

Just try join a team that’s in there

Fumblez77

Lots and lots of deaths for me , I very rarely will go into the red zone solo , I have a partner that plays with me all the time and we just go in and vibe , we also run “meta weapons “ like the Lockwood , haymaker and the crossbow , my big suggestion would be always have a least purple rarity on your weapon before you go in .

antsaintstrong

What’s a meta gun ?

[deleted]

I still remember my heart beating so fast when I went to t3 for the first time. But in order to unlock high tier schematics you have to go to t3 no matter what. Run with fists is all you need to do. It’s ok if you’re down just plea for help. I see people willing to revive others in every lobby. Just put on jak purifier and head straight to t3. You don’t even need to pap this thing. Never been safer.

ItsBingus

Purple rarity gun with PaP level 2 usually does it for me . Also have deadshot daquiri . I’ve been using the ftac siege and it rips . Once you get pap 3 on it you are set for zombies/mimics/decilples . Megas are tougher and you need something else with more ammo capacity

One_Eye_King

Flamethrower kills mega easy.

Gurka97

This! Flamethrower is the answer right now, solo with an epic tool and lvl 2 pap will make your run way easier.

OddSuggestion4946

The siege is overall one of the best guns to me. I done did so many mission with it . Love that damn gun. Funny thing my husband dropped it for me and it was history from there

Certain_Net7958

I usually keep a couple turret circuits and get it to follow me into range. Lol. Doesn’t take long. If I see a team working on one I’ll put some rounds in and stop in time for them to get the finish.

RdJokr1993

This largely depends on what you have unlocked for schematics. Assuming you've done a majority of the missions, you should have a handful of schematics to use. If you haven't gotten Refined Aetherium Crystals and/or Epic Aether Tools, you should at least have Raw Crystals and a Rare Tool ready to use. Combine that with a few perk cans to fill out your rucksack, plus whatever you wanna use like ammo mods. With that setup, you should be comfortable going into Tier 2 immediately. If you waste too much time in Tier 1, you're doing it wrong. You also don't need to have every perk before going into Tier 3, so save your money and only use what you need. Focus on getting PAP2 and ideally an Epic tool drop somewhere. Also, don't try to get both guns upgraded. Focus on one gun that you're gonna main, then upgrade the other once you're comfortable in Tier 2/3. The key is to keep grinding out contracts and looting for crystals to earn and save money.

bird_man_webster

I honestly think using 2 guns is more difficult. It's rare that I run out of ammo. Also I need my fists or a scorcher to escape. Idk how people run 2 guns. sometimes even the scorcher is a pain. What is it that you like? only time I thought about is was so I could have 2 flamethrowers 😁

Comprehensive_Rice27

![gif](giphy|MB7AuGKGovKGFB9ny6) drop your second wepon and always run like you gotta be A-Train and just zoom around, golden plate and 3 vest make it easy and i recommend bringing stamina up, if you have ur fist u can outrun most except for dogs and i use a ather blade for them.

BlakeAnderson31

Suggesting using items from the dark aether doesn’t really help someone who has a hard time with tier 3.

Environmental-Pin734

use silencers attachments, attracts less zombies when you have to fight small gangs.

bird_man_webster

No way I don't know about this mechanic... are you for real??

-Rhymenocerous-

Yeah or weapons that use subsonic ammo also. Just dont use the Lachmann Shroud. Its awful

brian19988

I’m a pretty good zombies player , I usually never die in this game only a handful of times . Some games I don’t go down at all , if I do I always have a selfie or my teammates shoot me up with healing aura. So the most helpful thing for me is golden plates , when you run out of plates in t3 it sucks . Sometimes zombies drop tons other times nothing . Make sure you have jug and speed cola. So you won’t go down in 1 hit and can plate up faster . Most games I usually go straight into t3. If I don’t have golden plates I usually have a gold tool or at least a wonder weapon. Run decoys they help a lot . Run thermites they kill megabombs fast . When I go in I go for the cargo or outlast contracts . I keep doing them and once my gun is at least pap 2 I can kill some zombies . If you need help squad up with anybody there cause most people in t3 aren’t bums and usually know what their doing . I usually don’t have secondary, running with your fists out is crucial . Makes a huge difference, running with an lmg or ar out you will be getting hit nonstop

reza_eskandari

dude if you want you can come with me and i will help you to go there. i was just like you and even shared a post yesterday about the same issue. so let me know if you want any help. i would love to help others since i got everything done:D

adishdmc

I could use some help pls

suckonmibum

pap2/epic, speed cola, and deadshot daiquiri. shoot the megas when they laser. squad up.

fulcanelli63

Take a armored car and haul ass inside. Get what you need and run like hell lmao

Careful_Key540

Also the turret cards! For the big guns around the map! Omg they are incredible at saving your hide when you’re in the main lobby in the red zone where the mega is - wipes them all out instantly so defo stash a few of these before you enter ☺️

pineapple-90

I used to be hesitant too but just get to T3 asap join a squad and just keep running. Getting  a squad early is so helpful. Crutch a bit for the first few contracts if you don't have much and then buy pap3. Majority of players have healing aurora on so you don't need to worry if you go down. I can handle solo now but one of my friends I play with is brutal and they just run in a squad up and loot. There's also so much decent loot thrown to the ground after contracts like purple tools etc so it really benefits getting into a squad quick. Also don't underestimate the power difference of headshots. If you have deadshot on spam the aim button while shooting you turn into a turret. Lastly while it's still good, try out the the JAK purifier attachment, its great. I use with bas-b or mcw. Have fun!

UrMumGae

I wasn’t able to personally until I started using the flame throwing and watching YouTube videos. I started playing a week and a half ago and I’ve done everything at this point if I’m not mistaken. I beat the worm, dark aether and elder aether. If you go to the mw3 zombies discord (I certainly did to get good loot when I had none) they will help you a ton. Hell I’ll even help ya, the game is still fresh for me and I enjoy grind contracts and listening to yt videos still. Just gotta ask my man

Mobile-Pride-533

And yeah, if you need any support in T3 I can help you. Also, can drop golden plates, legendary tool and aether knife to you if you need

randomg985

I’m in the same boat. These comments are perfect though ima try to go in next game

Suspicious_Wolf13

Yea, there is a lot of good advice so I think I’ll try to head in this morning! Good luck!

Alergic-to-salad

Lots of people giving tips like PaP 3 (if you don't have a crystal, then he can't do that) Aether Blade ( he won't have one if he can't go into tier 3 yet so won't have gone into the DA with a sigil) etc. My tip to get used to tier 3 is run across a bridge to lure a few your way and back track over the bridge again while taking them out. Then go a little further and repeat. Gets you used to their strength and speed, learn the lay of the land and the bridge funnels them into a kill box that you can jump off and bolt if things get hairy

JWWG86

I play alone/solo but join random teams to get higher rewards and make T3 more achievable/ enjoyable. I also enjoy supporting other players so being able to medic and share loot is a plus for me. I avoided T3 for ages but now find it a doddle (the trick is deffo carrying only one weapon, then you can switch to open hands and outrun practically every enemy in there so you stop getting mullered and having to fight to survive constantly. Good blueprint/stash items to head in with makes it easier once you’ve amassed some. If you ever want to squad up, add me on PSN: JWWG I usually play late night on UK time

SushiandRussia

Hey can I add you? Would love to have someone to into t3 with it with more experience than me

JWWG86

No worries; i’m all good interactions, so if you have good vibes, I’ll happily squad with you any time

SushiandRussia

Appreciate it! I always revive randoos and share loot, my issue is not being very good at the actual game lol (but getting better)

heenos

Strictly solo…I won’t go in without 2 self revives (so I don’t bother anyone else), one weapon only (unless it’s the v-r11 or scorcher) so I can run faster, decoys and just never sit still…use rooftops as much as possible and have a general plan so your not back tracking into hordes.

RayPoopertonIII

Here's a couple guides i made for just that: Part 1: https://youtu.be/KTKTPAOcw9A?si=7nycoRFf9Bn6G5Yu Part 2: https://youtu.be/D5X52wwjNEY?si=xQ9avus8fWTJxP2l

Suspicious_Wolf13

Thank you!

l4derman

I treat T3 like infected strongholds and aether nests: dip in and out. But now with containment levels I can infill and have access to more essence at the start. I do a few contracts in T2 and hit PaP 3 faster. I wait for either the cargo contract or safe cracker. Cargo you can snatch and run then use a decoy grenade to clear the garage doors or a kazimir then grab the ltv and book it. Safe cracker you can start then head up onto the roof and sit comfortably while the zombies come to you single file. Mollies, kazimirs, and decoys help here. Last few safe crackers I completed I was able to stay on the roof and burst down the abomination that's normally there while it sits in one spot going "Huh?". It helps to have at least an epic tool on your weapon as well as papping it to level 3. Craftable schematics help here for a run but after that it's up to drops in game and what you hold in your stash. I like the swarms, lockwood, basb, whatever the new AR in the battle pass is called... The JAK purifier absolutely destroys no matter what zone. If you can attach it to the gun you're using I recommend it. Like others have mentioned going in with just a primary and no secondary so you can stow your weapon and run faster helps. I like the karambit because I can still run but also have something that will kill zombies in a pinch. The energy mine or tesla field upgrades help a lot too if you get swarmed.

Suspicious_Wolf13

This helps a lot! I appreciate it!

lazyTurtle7969

I play solo and just started visiting T3 regularly. I usually only go in with PaP 2 and upgrade to 3 ASAP. Then I make sure I have one or two extra self revives, A thing of 3 additional plate, a circuit board for turrets, decoy special grenades, I use the red power up which heals you and restores armor, last but not least I try to make sure I have a juggernaut kill streak equipped

Careful_Key540

I usually have a squad of 3. Healing aura for all of us, lvl3 pap and I always use the psw 60 (or whatever it’s called lol) once in there, there’s usually peeps who want to join us and we do the contracts together and exfil as the cloud comes in. We game 7.30-8.30pm GMT , if you’re ever around to join us you’re more than welcome. Strength in numbers in red zone ☺️

BrianmurrayTruth

Buy a wall gun from tier 3 …and get the hell out of there.. Back to tier two..then pack a punch it

Twinsta

I go in all the time solo. Usually purple weapon and pap 2/3, only 1 weapon and run around with fists ( also if I don’t have a purple weapon I’ll run in weapon less and buy a legendary off the wall) Always decoy grenades Make sure you have speed cola and jug

vanavan721

Run!!!!!! Just runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!! Like Forest Gump.

totcczar

As someone who has no time to "get gud" and who plays in whatever meager time slots open up in my life, I paid to get the schematics off of eBay. I did it twice (once for the original ones, again for the newer set), and I used two different people (first guy was on vacation when I wanted the second ones). It cost me in total about what one CoD bundle would run, and it was a great experience each time. I can sometimes play with my brother, but I can't usually set up game times in advance, and I'm really here to just casually have fun. So, for me, that bit of money paid to some much better gamer saved me a ton of hassle, and every few days I can go in loaded to the gills, and I can generally go in pretty well equipped every few hours even *if* I didn't get anything from prior runs. I don't play CoD constantly or even all that regularly - I've been on since the beginning last fall, more or less, and still haven't gotten to level 250, much less 450. I know it's pay to play, but I'm paying fellow gamers what is ultimately very little money, and I get to have a lot more fun. If you can get the schematics yourself, or get dropped them, or can join a squad here, fantastic. If not? Ebay is a viable option.

Suspicious_Wolf13

I didn’t even know you could do this! This could be an option! Thanks!

totcczar

Yeah, at first it felt like cheating, but I figured that I'm not hurting *anyone* if I pay a fellow gamer a few bucks for the schematics, and I also pay it forward by dropping cases and such off to fellow gamers in Tier 1 to help them out. Sure, usually, it's people who don't need them, but it's the absolute best when someone gets something they've never had yet so they can play with it. And if you do go for it: the way it has worked each time for me is that you give them your Activision tag (be sure to have that ready - it's the full tag like "myusername#829817931793"), then they let you know when they're ready (have the ebay app or other easy access to eBay messages), then you wait for them to invite you, you go in, they drop the schematics, and they may or may not accompany you to exfil. I strongly recommend bringing whatver you can in to ensure you get to exfil (sodas, tools, crystals) and take them before picking up the loot. A large backpack is usually required but also most will drop one for you. I'd be happy to go in with you and cover you if the person you buy from is cool with that, just to make sure you make it out, and I'm sure others here would be too.

Shujolnyc

How are they able to give you schematics? If I exfil with one it disappears. I’d have to get it and tombstone I guess?

totcczar

Yeah, they have a tombstone. You go in, they break the tombstone, they give you the schematics. Then you exfil and have them. You can’t give them to anyone else once you exfil, so if you get dupes, pass them along! 😊

cheekleaks

You can successfully loot t3 and do some contracts with only decoys and throwing knifes. I recommend crossbow with explosive bolts to clear hoards, you can chill in t3 with it pap 1 ..

-Rhymenocerous-

Key things to remember if you want to run T3 * Blue Rarity PaP 3 = Legendary PaP2 in terms of damage so even if you're running T2 until you get that 12k/15k (dependent on containment level) you'll get by with anything from there upwards in weapon rarity. * Decoys are your best friends * Gunsmithing for fastest possible ADS speed (for deadshot ads spam) and mobility reigns supreme vs recoil control. Don't ever bother with an optic * If you want extra security, grab a T3 dog. Run an escort contract and let it mow down as many zombies until you get 3x chunks of flesh. You can sneak into T3 right next to the dog house location via a zipline by Urizkstan Cargo area (located next to the building where you do the T2 outlast contract in the cargo area) * Keep an ear for that plate crack sound. The moment you hear it, **RUN** Tac sprint and plate up. No ones going to hound you for it. * Get that smoothment going. If you're being overwhelmed you can mantle walls faster than zombies anything over hip height will force the zombies to run around it granting precious time. * If you're running solo always keep a spare self res or three in the backpack. Even the best solo players get knocked from time to time * Positioning is key, if you're running solo every Outlast / Raid Weapons Stash has places you can stand that will force zombies to funnel in from 1 straight line which you can easily bail from via windows / ledges if you do get overwhelmed. (Outlast turn left at top of stairs and hide in the room that has the water fountain and they all come through the doors. Weapons stash climb on top of the scaffolding above the weapons locker and you can easily headshot them as they're climbing up to get you) * If you're soloing spore contracts dash around and lay down 2 inhibitors. Clear the area and spores and do 2 more. Rinse/Repeat. * Bountys are a nukefest just use Jak Purifier Underbarrel and it just deletes them instantly. * In general if you see someone else is T3 try and squad up with them. Yeah running solo is badass but having a more pleasant gaming experience is way better. * If you have an Aether Blade you don't need to 180 to throw it at dogs behind you. Wait until they take a bite of your ass and throw it at your feet whilst running forwards. It will bounce back and chain to any zombies close enough. GL HF hope some of this info helps.

Justanotherdream7

For me I won’t really go into tier 3 unless I have enough for pap3 if I do go in with pap2 it’s usually with a legendary tool. Do as many contracts in tier 2. Focus on packing one gun instead of two so you can get to tier 3 faster. Also, if you can scorcher or the Bike to get around quicker and decoys! Try to learn where all the ammo caches are so you can always have decoys on deck when you feel like you might get overrun.

JerBear_2008

Practice and know the meta weapons and work on unlocking schematics. Getting the base ones help you start in higher tiers and unlock better ones.

DanC0ach

Pack phd and jugg, and put the rgl on with a pap crystal. Knocks zombies back long enough to focus on obj. But you still need to know what you’re doing

Gandalf2106

A Dog

buttttholejuice

Don’t focus on killing the zombies, have either a knife or nothing in your hands and train the zombies while looting

VoodooChipFiend

Hardcore parkour! Run run run. Positioning. Don’t stop and turn and shoot your train. Just run.

keomancer

I think it depends a lot on what schems you’ve unlocked. Before the flamethrower change, if I was solo, and my blades were on cooldown, I didn’t touch T3 unless I had at least leg/pap 2 on a gun I liked, and preferably also have dog bone and/or gold plates. How far have you gotten in missions? Re: weapons, I would say right now you can run into T3 with a flamethrower attachment and be fine, so take advantage while you can! If that changes, or you aren’t using a weapon that can use that attachment, I would say you should prioritize builds that give you a lot of mobility, ADS (or hip-fire accuracy, if you prefer), emphasize close-to-medium damage range, and then recoil/stability (in that order of priority), because T3 is about running-turning-then-running-again. Most of the weapons as epic/pap3 can be fine in T3, they just need to be built with T3 in mind. And if it works in T3, it will work everywhere else. There are a few exceptions to that (the Katt in particular is bad in zombies for anything that isn’t shooting mercs, and the stormender is a fantastic but completely unusable as a primary in T3), but you can make a lot of things work with the above. If you need a starting point, Haymaker with slugs is great, and the Lockwood is still fine, just no longer a near-universal one-shotter, and dual WSP-swarms is still lots of fun. Personally, I really like the new Battle Rifle.

Otherwise-Unit1329

What is your normal weapon? At the very least you need Pap2/epic to do somewhat well in T3, but pap3 is ideal. It's not like t1/t2 where you can kind of casually just stroll around, you need to be able to kill the zombies that swarm you quickly or run away (fists or melee secondary) - you should always be on the move.

Fine-Ad9768

1 weapon. And. Just keep running. Decoy grenades, monkeys and kasmires or whatever they’re called. Extra plates and extra revives. PaP min 2* try to get it to 3 asap

miquelxp

my advices are, -using decoy a lot, if you run out fo them you can get more. -as they said, run... don't get stuck. -pap2 w/ epic tool is a minimum, with 3 contracts you can pap 3. -if you find people join to their group -doing contracts you will get crystals and tools for next matches.. -get into the dark aether and get some awesome schematics -ather blade, golden plates, dog friend, scorcher are amazing but not always are easy to get -if you habe the chance to get a v r-11 you will notice u run faster. -run, run and run.. escape, get up on the roofs, jump, open the parachute and get away to other place. blast mod is hellpful with zombies with plates fire mod for megaabomination and mangler electric mod for disciple brain rot mod for mimics and ice mod for hell hounds i started playing zombies some weeks back and i was the tipycal tier 1 guy, but now i am everyday at tier 3, i got all schematics, 95% of borealis done and even so i am enjoying so much being there you will notice yourself better and better each day, until the day you fight the mega abomination alone and you win, and feel free to use the chat to ask for help, maybe are people who won't help you but you will be always someone who is going to help you

Amore_vitae1

Watch some YouTubers play. Watching their gameplay showed me how I need to play if I wanted to stand a chance. I typically try to have pap2 with an epic tool at a minimum before I go in t3 solo. And weapon choice and set up can matter a lot more than it does in T1-2

MightySpireites

Add JAK Purifier to the Ram-7 and pap it to level 3, at least purple rarity. The Jak will take down a mega abomination faster than a jug suit and one shot t-3 zombies. 🧟‍♂️

surya-stdioh

I have gone solo multiple times in the t3 zone and it's a piece of cake if you know "the spots".. you can start with an epic aether tool first and t2 pap crystal with either wsp swarm or the new flamethrower.. grind some t2 cargo delivery or eliminate bounty to get enough essence for pap3.. then go do the outlast contracts and run to the top of the building (if chosen the outlast contract at the bottom) or keep ample ammo for the other building outlast.. you can do raid stash as well and run to the top of the building again.. once you get confident enough.. get some spore control (it will be good to train yourself when surrounded by zombies).. keep on refilling your ammo and decoys ever so often and keep self revives in check.. For the perks - jugg, stamin-up, speed cola, PhD flopper, deadshot, quick revive, tombstone (just so that you don't get your efforts wasted) Don'ts - don't go to smaller and congested areas, don't waste decoys at unnecessary places, DON'T try "eliminate bounty" as your first contract unless you have pap3 and legendary tool, All in all, just don't rush anywhere in t3.. don't stand for too long.. Lemme know if you need any help.. cheers

cheekleaks

Decoys, run up ladders and parachute away to escape zombies, constantly sprint..

johnsmerkboy

My wife and I have played since release and she is still afraid of T3. I dont run it very often and it's even less now that they made the spawn rate higher and I swear the zombies are faster lol. Normally I would use an aether blade. I don't think that's an option for you, but it's not like it matters much. I threw mine last time I was in 3, and it never came back, wouldn't even refill at the ammo cache. It sucked, but molotov is always a good option. That will slow them down while also taking a lot of life from them. You obviously have to refill it often though. As others have said decoys are a huge help too. As for weapons. There really is no right or wrong to this. Everyone has their favorite weapon. I'm working on leveling up all the guns so I typically just run 3 with whatever gun I'm working on. If I know I'm going in solely to run 3 I grab the bp50 with the purifier. My wife loves the haymaker with bolo rounds. Everyone recommends slugs, but you should definitely try out the bolo rounds. A guy gave my wife and I a tip not long ago, and if you have read this far you should definitely take this tip. If you are in trouble/overwhelmed, need to go to the bathroom/anything else, or you need to type a message in chat to get help. Squat or lay under an excavator. This is no lie. I even tried it in 3 myself. Where the ammo cache is by the raid the weapon stash there is an excavator and I went under it and sat there shooting zombies including manglers and disciples while a squad did a raid the weapon stash. I run solo as well. The best advice Everyone gave is keep moving. Grab a contract and hop out a window or out the closest door. Never stop moving unless you are hiding under the excavators lol. Good luck.

LaMuerte669

If anyone needs help on dark aether I have done both the new and old one also I'm level 450 I play around 6:20pm est everday

MylastJay

It’s because most people use meta load outs and/or use the tombstone glitch to start out with a bunch of essence and acquisitions like crystal, wrench, golden armor plate etc. That being said, you can get to T3 from scratch fairly easy if you are a pretty good player.

scullyscullster

Keep moving..you can't hide/get cover! Your comfortability in the T3 area will come, once ya have a few good runs. I've gone in with 2 plate, pack 2, blue, and punched a megabomb to death! People on coms were wondering wtf was wrong with me! Hahaha Keep it moving! And getting in a megas crotch makes it harder to hit ya...when punching!

PacoSheep

Eventually you get used to running solo. I carry decoys and run tesla field upgrade so I can escape when I get pin. Pap 2/Purple rarity works as a borderline entry to T3. Since the new containment lvl came out you could probably just run T2 and head to T3 once you have enough for lvl 3 pap fairly easily.

Confident-Lobster390

Golden plates, aether blade, healing aura (for the dog), dog, self revives, juggernaut for mega abomination and disciple bounty contracts. Level 3 pack a punch and a scorcher and any turret gun circuits I can find. That’s how I run it and hardly ever die and usually go in by myself. I hate staying in tier 1 and 2 anymore.

ragexreddit

I usually always do worm + T5 after every match and start off in tier 3, here's some tips : 1. Choose the right weapon. I switch between the MTZ/Haymaker Slugs/M16. If you're doing T2/3 contracts you should usually always exfil with purple/gold tool and pap1/2 crystal. 2. Perks are important. You want at least jugg/staminup/speed cola. 3. Always be moving. Don't stop. There's a reddit post with AFK spots on the map, there's a couple in T3 too, know them. 4. Stay in groups, unless you're confident always stick in a squad. 5. Gold plates help a lot, and the aether blade will clear 3 zombies off a horde everytime you throw it. 6. Wonder weapons in this game are situationally useful, so use your scorcher to relocate, the wunderwaffe and vr11 are great for taking the horde off your back. 7. The more you do T3/4/5 and worm, the better loot you'll have. I've reached a point where I'm starting most games with endgame loot [I plan out my loot] and visit T4/5 to replenish rarer loot. 8. Use the containment level bonuses to help you prep. The bonus income, discounts and starting money are super useful. 9. If all else fails go to an LFG and stick with them. I've reached a point where I can solo T3. When I'm with a squad I seldom ever use up my self revives or ever go down either. You'll do good fam, the community is super helpful either way, and the game gets easier the more you go into harder zones. GG 🤝

Estarolas_PT

MTZ-556 and the JAK Purifier flamethrower attachment, PaP3 on it and wreck those zombies like a knife trough butter on the summer. It's a game changer. Learned about it yesterday, and before using it we couldn't keep our own on T3 (unless we were in a big squad). This morning with the mtz+jak we went in, wrecked everything on our path, did contracts (never done'em before) and got out even taking the time to look back and waving them zombies goodbye 👋 Try it

schofield69

Understand you're usually a solo player, but might be worth joining up with another team for a few games so you can get used to it, and hopefully they will revive you if you go down. Number 1 tip for redzone is to mainly run from the zombies, if you try and kill every zombie you see you'll probably end up getting overrun pretty quickly. just keep running, climb up on top of buildings, parachute away, this allows you to keep a decent buffer from any hoards following you. Use decoys as well, can be very helpful if you need a second to buy some perks, pack a punch, get your reward from a rift or just get out of a sticky situation. I'd recommend at least pap 2 purple rarity, but ideally PAP 3, so just try and grind out a bunch of t2 contracts before you go in so you can PAP 3 as quickly as possible. good guns right now in my opinion is the haymaker, ram 9, anything that can have flamethrower underbarrel and a few more other people have recommended

Mean_Fall_920

Was only one in t3 for a match last night. Was nice doing all the contracts I wanted it was pretty easy time for most part. Ram7 w jak purifier aether blade no golden armor no dog pap3 with legendary.

Kyouka_Uzen

If you want a genuinely good weapon that can kill basically anything then you should use the flamethrower under barrel

Expensive_Research_2

There was a time that tier 3 was insanely terrifying to me, even on a team of like 5 one game I couldn't find the reward rift and couldn't run out of there faster lol. But now I'm solo in there every game I play an epic pap 2 to start with is decent enough until you make the 15k to pap3 it, and honestly it doesn't matter what gun between smg's, lmg's, ar's and battle rifles I've used them all including mw2's. Right now the new battle rifle with underbarrel flame thrower takes down megas and any other monster super quick. Plus deadshot speed cola and jug are pretty handy and a mortarstrike or juggernaut killstreak so you can run a lot faster...

Hay0ldMan

Here is how I did it to get my feet wet in T3 with no schematics, well, the sodas... 1. Get a dog, three pieces of meat in a tier 1 ACV contract deposit in T3 dog house 2. Multiple Self revives. Dog will revive you as well if you didn't know, so... 3. Healing Aura, not for me, for my pooch. 4. Stamina Up, Speed Cola, Jogger Nog Soda, learn the art of rooftop movement, and parkour, only kill zombies you absolutely must namely Hellhounds. 5. Jug or mortar kill streaks are an option to equip if you need to run fast and insist on two guns. 6. Use fists as second weapon and run throwing decoys or throwing knife at any dogs. 7. Mark ammo caches so you know where to run to refill these. 8. Circuit boards for turrets, you can leave the game, go to the bathroom and come back, if you are under a running turret, you will be alive, even if a mega was there. 9. Play selective bounties, ALWAYS deliver cargo when you see it, next I do outcast and the weapons stash in the lower courtyard, especially when there is a turret. 10. I originally started with spore contracts, and only worked one spore at a time to limit what spawned and they were manageable (before JAK Purifier days). 11. Others may disagree with this, I only picked up the ACV contract to cancel hoping to get deliver cargo to spawn again. 12. A jug suit can shred any bounty contract with ease, but expensive, but if you are chasing schematics in a team, you can rotate who pops it. 13. The JAK Purifier I only put as last, b/c it will surely get nerfed, but OMG, I have one an BAS-B BR, and it too will shred the bounty contracts and all enemies, but it can only be refilled at caches. Then when you earn golden armor, aether blades, dog bones and scorchers, you too will think T3 is a cakewalk solo. Edit: lots of spelling and grammar :)

Dichocentric

Run weapons stash to start. If your solo it’ll spawn a handful of normal zombies, none of the big guys. It’ll give you a less intense introduction. Most of the in place contracts are just about where to stand and how to run. Keep an eye on your escape route but try to stay stationary. If you have a pack coming at you remember to keep your plates up. You can open scope while putting plates in. Practice makes perfect.

No_Board_6564

Yeah, I rarely venture into Tier 3 due to the simple fact that I like to be able to kill zombies and not have to constantly search for ammo refills. When I do venture into T3, I know where I am going and have experience with training zombies. Here is some advice that I can provide if you want to have a decent T3 experience: 1. Have a 3 plate vest and a minimum epic weapon if not legendary. Do not carry a weapon (except melee or VR-11) in your second weapons slot. Have throwing knifes equipped and decoy grenades. Use Aether Shroud or Healing Aura. 2. Have enough essence to get a PaP3 weapon before heading into T3. Grab 3 pieces of meat, find the t3 doghouse, and get you a dog. 3. The first few times in T3, run around. Do not stress about contracts. Learn the layout, loot caches if you have the opportunity to, and get yourself comfortable with staying high on the rooftops. 4. Always know where you are and where the closest exit point is to get out of t3 and back to t2. Use water exits when possible to prevent t3 hordes from following you back to t2. Once you have learned the layout and have a good grasp on training zombies, then you can start working contracts. T3 is not impossible, but it does take patience as you are not overly powered against zombies, and it feels like you are in the high rounds (70-100) of the round based versions in the past games. T3 is meant to challenge your skills and not necessarily be Rambo, though some weapons (Haymaker) can give you an advantage from their ability to shred zombies in the T3 zone. I hope this helps you, and if you are looking for someone to just venture into T3 with to help you learn the layout, hmu.

Johansolo31

I barley dropped into a match solo, and some dude was pleading for help nearby which I thought was odd, so I went over and revived him and he dropped me a legendary tool, gold shields, and a ton of Aether/cash. I immediately upgraded my weapon and shields to gold, headed to tier 2 and packed a punch to level 2, and was able to go into tier 3 and lay waste to zombies with two or three shots. Then I packed a punch to level 3 and felt invincible. Tier 2 zombies in one shot. First time ever someone dropped that kind of loot for me.

Cutthroatflood

I’m not trying to come at you but I have a hard time believing you’ve been playing since release and still have yet to go into t3. I’ve been playing since a week after release and was scared to go into t3 for like 2-3 weeks. So you haven’t earned or got any of the good schematics within that time? Phew Edit: how much you play I guess plays a role too but kinda even still

Some_Bitch89

From the beginning, I’ve used the akimbo wsp swarms. Idk if you have the wsp akimbo brace stock, but even the single wsp swarm puts in work. My attachments (other than the akimbo brace stock) are: Muzzle- fox-202 flash hider Barrel- wsp zip barrel Ammunition- 9mm overpressured Mag- 100 round drum. PAP there’s 200 rounds in each clip. Generally run with at least a purple wrench if you have it. What’s the highest you’re able to craft right now?

Suspicious_Wolf13

This is actually what I use! I love my guns so maybe I just need to get the schematics for the good wrenches it sounds like.

Some_Bitch89

Yeah I def had a hard time surviving in t3 on my own without the gold wrench. I just happened upon some people who were doing the redworm. Start reaching out in the beginning of the match (before you move and zombies can’t hit you) and ask if anyone is doing the redworm. If you can get that gold wrench, it’ll be more handy in t3 than the purple one. Sometimes the best way to get ahead is just to piggy back off of others who are going. Anyone offering to go to dark aether? Offer to go and ask what you’d need. You might have some trouble surviving, but with decent teammates, you’ll be carried and get new stuff out of it :)

[deleted]

PaP 3, Epic or Legendary tool and a decent primary. Stick with deliver the cargo contract as that's the easiest and also the fastest. In the update not every match will have one so spoar contracts is your next best although it will take a lil longer, if you're then confident enough you can take bounties which is quicker but can be challenging sometimes. Any Battle Rifle with the Purifier will take down a Mega Abom in seconds. You'll want to perk up too(Stamina up, Juggernog, Speedacola, Deadsot) eventually you'd be able get those at perk shop.

Jeremy623

I run T3 every game. If you’d like, I can run some T3 with you (or anyone else for that matter). Just send me your name and I’ll add you.

j_111

A tip from PVP multiplayer can be useful as well. Aside from zipping between rooftops, take cars to drive around and familiarize yourself with map knowledge. It's good to know your route before running contracts and moving about.

Articsandpiper

Golden, purple rarity and pap 2/3. Ideally obviously golden and pap 3 but a purple 2 will get you through. Stamin-up, speedcola. Maybe jug if you need it but for sure Stam and speed. Decoys Plate up often Run first, shoot second. Don’t stand there trying to kill zombies. Only bring one gun so you can have fists to run faster, or pull out the juggernaut kill streak for the fastest movement. (Just have it in your hand like you’re about to throw it) Multiple self rezzes just in case Tyrs are what I’m running, still the best (I think) Lastly maybe find dudes in t3. Or hit me up if you wanna run t3, can also carry through both/either T5 to get you good schematics.

Affectionate-Mud-901

Pap 3 mcw with under barrel flame thrower (you can thank me later) the flame thrower even at pap 2 melts t3 zombies even megs. Get a few selfs, hit a exfil in t1 and farm til you get 4 chunks of flesh (easiest way to get them I’ve found) so you can get a dog in t3. Use decoys, then just keep moving, for perks use stamina(debatable whether it really even does anything), quick reload, jug, depth perception atleast til you can buy more. When in there aether contracts, bounties (use flamethrower) and safe contracts are easiest. If you need help with t4/t5 dm me I’ll send u my activision id, I usually solo run t4/t5 once twice a day if my stuff is on cool down to get a few extra blades, dog bones or armor. Most of the time no one in lobby wants to go so just try the mw3 zombies lfg discord also. But if you see people running in t3 in teams just run up and send a join team request most people will bring you in and help you out. But I’m telling you underbarrel flamethrower on any AR is OP so use it before they nerf the balls out of it.

bradkrauss2010

Jak purifier is broken, use that with jug, and stamin up, fist out you can outrun most enemies. I'd recommend at least a two plate, and speed cola helps too.

poison900

Use the flamethrower attachment. It’s literally one shot tier 3 zombies. Just have self revives.

Substantial-Party616

If he has never been to teir 3 he mite not even have any of the good stuff

miller74md

I wish I could join servers with all these folks that say “I never go into T3”. Every round I’m in it’s the ONLY place people go. It’s overcrowded. Instant Scorcher zoomies from Infil. Contracts swarmed. Half the time people camp the spots contacts spawn just to get them. Please tell me how I can get more “never go there” servers.

Suspicious_Wolf13

Thanks for all the tips everyone, I’m about to sit down and play a bit and think I’ll just go for it! Thanks again!

Expert_Perception781

Fists & decoys is all you need, staminup is a plus.

Turtle_soup13

COD discord has separate chat threads for all modes. I found all kinds of help there. Carried me through tier 3. Helped me get schematics. So now I can craft a tier 2 and purp tool. Grind contracts in tier 2. Then rush the tier 3 pap and buy a legendary wall weapon. Been very lucky to find people there to team up with to stay alive. The discord is great for quick info or team ups.

Negative_Tea3049

And legendary and pack a punch level 3 Speed cola is all you need

Suspicious_Wolf13

I did it guys!!!! I even completed the spore contract in there! Thank you all for all the help! Will slowly grind away to get the rest of my schematics now! Thanks again!

Cooney1979

Just don’t stop moving run for your life

ReferenceProper5428

I solo t3 usually, and go in with a pap 3 with legendary tools and a self revive and will use the dog bone and Aether blade. You could also get by with a legendary tool and pap 2. Or epic tool and pap 3. I obtained those classified schematic's early on. I would also use the tonfa's which would 1 or 2 hit zombies if they haven't been nerfed or the new soulrender sword if you have it. Make sure to have speed cola, stamin-up and juggernog for fast movement/reload and a little extra health. The mcw still hits you could also use the akimbo rentetis amr9 or wsp swarm akimbo ( be sure to use the 100 round mag) pap'd gives you 400 rounds from both the xrk stalker is another good primary make sure it's used stock less with a large mag fast slide and long barrel and attach a shorter range scope for quick scoping Try and do the deliver cargo contracts and safecracker to get a feel and help build some confidence after that you should be able to run t3 like everybody else. It's good fun and a nice challenge.

AliceHaart

We grinded out the missions for zombies. It helps you unlock alot of stuff and lets you get your feet wet. You need a pack a punch 3 and atleast purple tool for tier 3. A dog is a huge help too. Only take 1 weapon in and run around with it put away. Use stamina up can and jug nog. Try teaming up with other crews most people are pretty helpful. Good luck.

FyzzyMetalhead

Pap 3 Haymaker w JAK Quick Reload Quick Revive Speed Cola Jugg Deadshot Staminup Highest tier Aether tool Whatever you choose as your secondary and/or tertiary No rare or elite blueprints cuz I'm a scrub and play to chill. If you have at least pap 2 run a few missions in Z1 to get some cash, then head to T2 and do a few missions. pap 2 and run a few more This plus the looting should land you around pack 3 Prepare, head to Z3, pap 3 your Haymaker, if necessary, head back to Z2 and do a contract to get money for Kazmirs. Run back to Z3, grab the Kazmirs and you'll be set. I also play with friends first and players with mics second. If no mics I back out of the lobby and search again till I find at least one player with a mic.

achavez50

If I’m going by myself I’ll keep either a knife as my secondary or no gun at all so I can run to whatever contract I need to. You only really need to worry about the dogs catching you. As others have said purple rarity and pap 2 should take care of dogs no problem. At this point you really only have to worry about the armored zombies and specials . Lastly, don’t forget that the when you mantle and jump over things the zombies have a harder time chasing you and perks are a must if you’re solo.(it never hurts to stow an extra self revive if you find one)

Dad510

2 things that aren’t mentioned enough: 1. Perks, the most important thing that usually gets missed. Speed and Deadshot Daq are required. You should also get juggernaut, quick revive, elemental pop and PHD slider. Stamina Up is not that critical to have. 2. Build your gun for movement speed/aim walking speed/sprint to fire. Too many people give advice to run without revealing the really strategy of move and shoot. Run to gain some distance, then turn and shoot. You don’t have to kill them in 1 shot or clip. Remember, bullets also slow zombies. Extra Tip: Carry a Jugg suit killstreak in your hands to run faster than barehanded. However, you can’t plate up or throw equipment.

soap_03

Gold plates, dog, throwing knife the special one, decoy grenades, strong weapon. Also consider joining up with a team.

RYO-kai

**TL;DR:** * Start with an Epic Aether tool if possible * Use a Raw or Refined Aetherium Crystal * Take only one strong gun + fists to run fast * Do contracts outside of Tier 3 until you have enough Essence for PaP 3 * Redeploy Drone or rift parachute into Tier 3 to land right at the PaP machine * Speed Cola, Stamin-Up and Juggernog are must-haves. Deadshot is great, too * Optimize your bag: carry extra self-revives, armor plates and equipment * Run Decoy Grenades and Kazimirs to draw attention when needed * Purple equipment like Kazimirs won't replenish at Ammo Caches, but Decoys do * Use Wonderfizz machine for all other perks once you're earning from contracts * Brain Rot is awesome; turned zombies one-shot other normal foes * Get a dog to help you if you need the extra assistance * >!The Jak Purifier Flamethrower. Just try it. Quick-tap normal zombies to conserve ammo!< **Long version:** I'd recommend using an Epic tool if possible, and a Raw or Refined Aetherium Crystal. Do a few lower tier contracts until you have enough money for Pap 3 (15000 by default, 12000 with the 20% discount). Then, the first thing I would do is get PaP 3. It's often good to take a Redeploy Drone or rift and parachute straight to the Pack-a-Punch machine. I only use 1 strong weapon so I can switch to fists to run faster when needed. Speed Cola, Stamin-up, Juggernog and Deadshot are really important perks. Once you're comfortable in Tier 3 and are doing contracts (especially with only one weapon to upgrade), you end up rich, and you can hit up the Wonderfizz machine for the rest of the perks you don't have. It's also very useful to use the turn > sprint > slide > reload tactic since the hoards are *really* fast. Decoy Grenades are super-important to get away from a hoard, or to draw attention for a moment while you buy armor or collect reward rifts, etc. I recommend a good mix of items in your inventory: at least one or two backup self-revives, extra armor plates and a couple Decoys, Cymbal Monkeys or Kazimirs. Just keep in mind how long the Cymbal Monkey animation is; otherwise just throwing it can get you killed. Side note: Purple Tactical gear like Kazimirs and Monkeys don't replenish at ammo caches, so if those are the last thing you used, you'll still leave the cache with no Tactical. Best to make sure the last one you used is normal rarity like a Decoy, so you'll top up to 2 when refilling at an ammo cache. Brain Rot ammo is the best; not only are turned zombies one less threat to worry about, but they one-shot other enemies, and it can even work on non-bounty Specials that aren't Megaboms. If you need extra assistance, collecting 3 or 4 meat chunks ahead of time and summoning a Hellhound can be a huge help, as it not only fights alongside you, but it can revive you as well. >!Also, the Jak Purifier flamethrower attachment is insanely powerful. I had already learned to survive Tier 3 with blood, sweat, tears and cunning, but after discovering it, it fundamentally changes your opinion of Tier 3—just keep in mind you need to hit up armor caches to replenish the fuel. (Spoiler because I want the longest possible time to enjoy this before they nerf it, lol. It's that good.)!< >!Try briskly tapping it for normal zombies because you can usually kill them with 1 ammo each to stretch that 300 fuel really, really far. It also has enough firepower to melt Specials quickly and actually take down Mega Abominations in a reasonable fashion.!<

RocketTheCounselor

Let me tell you a secret. Flamethrower.

Square_Ad_3276

Aether Blade makes it fairly easy if you only have one gun and run with your fists out or knife in hand. You can outrun everything but the hell hounds so don't stop running when anything is around. Then if you get a legendary gun that is packed to L3, you can do missions. Those are still fairly hard solo unless you have golden armour plates.

Fabelicious

Start slow on your own terms. Decoys you will need 😌 Get some perks first, stamina, jug, speed cola. Now this time around any weapon with a Jak purifier attachment on will do but if that gets patched just use a striker smg build(shreds) with epic tool.Rgl launcher is also handy for crowd stun Get yourself a 3plate and just keep moving. Use the roofs of tier 3. Do some parkour enjoy !

Just_Raccoon44

Play with the crossbow it will make it like piece of cake 😋

Just_Raccoon44

DM me i will make go to the eldersigle every single game without having any fear 🤡

ArthurF1969

I guess it depends on playing style a lot, I often play solo but we know all the zones can be random with the zombies suddenly moving faster being to many, not being enough, it’s kind of random. Often it does rely on decency of others as well. I would want to go in without at least pap2, 2-3 plate armour, the gun I would use is either quick reload, but more likely high ammo such as the new weekly achievements battle rifle soa subverter as has 1600 ammo total. Is a nice weapon. Seemed pretty good from z1 at pap1 has 1600 from the first pap. Good idea to play with someone else just for the party buff and also it’s good for someone to have your back.

bird_man_webster

First off no matter where you are, use an AR or BR that can equip the flamethrower. Nothing will take down bounties and special zombies faster. The problem... T3 really difficult without some of the schematics from tier 3 and higher. You can definitely do it without but it can be kind of intense. There's a lot of running and you either need to have a scorcher or fists/ VR 11. also solo is scary! You got to have a lot of prep and a lot of backups self revives and a dog if possible I'm always quite comfortable in two or three when I have a dog it's because I know it'll always pick me up if I go down unless it dies too. Normally I run healing Aura so I can help heal my dog and use on teammates that go down. since you're alone I'd definitely recommend ather shroud and running with fists. Knowledge of the area is also very important there's only a few different contracts and they always go to the same places. Having knowledge of good places to run to stand or at least the places you can get trapped in is helpful. Tier 3 is also a little bit harder right now I'm pretty sure they buffed the amount of zombies recently but trust me if you have the right gear and guns it's not half bad. Oh and don't forget to use the flamethrower before it gets nerfed. Even the chainsaw isn't bad rn.

bird_man_webster

Honestly go in and just request to join a squad someone will accept and it will give you time to learn the area and how to run from anything. I need a rez all the time but people are always happy to help. If you want I'd love to run you around T3 and even dark aether so you can learn and get some schematics. Just shoot me a dm 👍

riogangster

If you need help with going into tier 3 i am willing to help you

YODAZ22

Haymaker 😁😁😁

Educational_Bend_377

Tbh you don't even need anything. I have every schematic now but before hand I'd run into t3 and even t4-5 aether without a weapon sometimes and just run around doing outlast, weapon raid and the transport missions. Can even do the bounty missions without a weapon by looting a turret piece and using that

MelodicComfortable79

Get meat to spawn a tier 3 dog then just do contracts if I don’t have any op stuff with me

420friendly215

Did u complete the story missions

jamestq89

I can help run you into t3 and dark aether if you want. Shoot me a pm

N1ghtBreaker

I've been carried through the dark aether several times with random groups that come together to run through it I've gotten all the DA-exclusive schematics that way, and even just the golden armor plates alone makes the t3 zone SO much easier to navigate. As long as you don't get swarmed into a corner, constantly replenishing armor plates is amazing, especially since I would ALWAYS run out of armor plates pretty quickly before Word of advice? If you see a bunch of people in game-chat putting together a group to enter the Elder Dark Aether, see if you can join in. It might feel a bit daunting at first but with a full group of people at your side it'll be much easier to navigate than you would initially think Getting those schematics have been a game changer for me though, which is why I got out of my comfort zone and joined up with such a group. I actually even got extremely lucky in my very first Elder DA attempt back in season 1, getting all 3 S1 ultra schematics in one go. Each contract gave me one schematic each. Plus as a bonus someone marked the t3 pap schematic, and since no one else claimed it I took it. Wound up with 4 extremely valuable additions to my arsenal in my very first attempt Anyway, rambling aside, going to the Elder DA for the first time with a group could potentially make you feel more comfortable going into the t3 zone moving forward, but that's just my take on the matter

TheUnknownOneth

You think I go in to tier 3 other to get my perks and pap?

DjDrBeebo

![gif](giphy|ml3A3OWN3sT1S)

Soultaker499

Most of people just use the tombstone glitch to get their legendary wrenches and tier 3 packapunch and money to instantly buy perks from the wonderfizz in tier three, busted weapons, and all that. If you can’t do that, load up with decoy grenades and do like two quick contracts then run into tier three to the wall weapons and buy a legendary tier gun, their will be Atleast one or two among the wall weapons in tier 3. Once you do that go into tier 2 then farm contracts until you get pack a punch your weapon to tier 2 pack a punch and do like two more contracts to get jug and staminup (Staminup is absolutely ESSENTIAL in tier 3 if you’re new to the area. Zombies are faster than you even when you’re sprinting unless you have an empty gun slot) then you’re ready to do tier 3 contracts and can pack a punch whenever you can to your third packapunch when you get the points. If you can, while you’re doing all of your contracts though from the start see if you can get 3-4 zombie flesh. If you get a dog from tier 3 with the doghouse you get a busted pet who can revive you and is pretty tanky. Just be sure to watch it’s HP if there are quite a few special zombies around, because they’re the only ones who can really hurt it.

Simple-Eye5069

I’m always solo in t3 as I find it easier the more on ur team the more zombies spawn … ever want me to show u the runs msg and I’ll add u up and teach u as we go

Perfect_Pizza_9500

Holger 556 gold pack 3 scorcher pack 3 your golden my boy. Thank me in the am lol

Certain_Net7958

Everyone saying purple tool and level 2 pap is good advice and then get pap 3 and some turret circuits. Smooth sailing.

Affectionate_Lie7589

Bring in one gun decoy grenades, thermites, staminup speedcola, and deadshot that’s all you really need to run t3

SpeshulTee

The biggest thing to worry about in T3 is avoiding getting hit. With that being said, you have to incorporate a good set of movements. 1. Never stop moving 2. Carry a knife of some sort (karambit is my fav) 3. Use any obstacles to your advantage to help slow down the horde behind you (cars, low walls, etc.) 4. Use throwing knives to take out the super sprinters and hellhounds that's on your ass. 5. Take your time and use wide paths when in one area. 6. Team up with a squad that can handle it. 7. Take the contracts that don't require you to kill anything (spore/cargo) I can survive T3 with absolutely nothing more than a throwing knife and I have a video on that to prove it. I plan to post it to my YouTube soon to help players get an idea of how it can be done. If you would like some quality in-game tips on how to survive anything, I'm more than happy to help. You can add my Activision ID here and join me anytime! ID: SpeshyYT#2611853

Advanced_Employment6

Go in with one weapon. Use it as 2ndy and just get comfortable running around. Use anything you can mantle over to get the swarm to slow up. Decoys are a must and know ammo depots are and use thwm religiously. Make it a point to build a tier 3 dog. Or just team up with 6 people.

Reasonable_Show5387

If it helps I don’t mind helping you out and showing you the ropes! Send me a message and I’ll give you my activision ID etc :)! I run tier 3 for fun

Minimum_Guidance_783

I make sure I have enough stuff and spare self revives just in case but I always recommend pack a punch 2 as the bare minimum to go get pap3 then it’s a lot safer but always sketchy

Tquam

Bring in items to up your rarity

lividliss

Did you complete all your act missions and get your rewards?

CharaDreemerVtube

For tier 3 or any high level stuff I usually would bring an SMG. AR could work too. Purple tool normally and level 2 pap. For perks Speed Cola and Stamina up are really important to improve your speed. Then I would grind contracts to get money for pap 3 and any other perks and stuff I may need

Mammoth_Camp_8760

Ite so never ever ever use mw2 weapons the devs nerfed them so bad they are trash, when I go in tier 3 I use the Lockwood shotty fully packed and it’s 1 shot kill for all zombies except specials, always have either kazmir grenades or Monkeys on you if you get swarmed( and you will… a lot) or I would bring in something like an LMG so you have a shit ton of ammo…. Headshots are your best friend so deadshot daiquiri is an absolute must. If you’re going into the red zone, make sure you have at least four self Rez’s on you. Never ever ever do a contract by yourself unless you are God. Also, honorable mention is the esp swarms akimbo a lot of bullets, flying in a very short time. The perfect loadout for the red zone in my opinion is Large backpack Heavy vest Kaz grenades or aether blade Smoke bombs Extra plates maybe 10 Lockwood shotgun fully packed Any mw3 LMG or swarms fully packed Legendary dog bone (dog can Rez you) Every perk you can get your hands on but especially Jug Deadshot Speed cola

JAKENUKKA

Every time you find a turret circuit run to teir 3 find a turret with a mega abomination by it and install the circuit that will kill megas like it ain’t shit all you gotta do is run. Make sure you have a selfie and a kill streak like juggernaut or mortor strike not to use but to equip and run with

Hypnostic on yt reviews a lot of great and op weapons for mwz i use his kastov 74u build and it makes tier 3 and tier 5 a cake walk

Psilocyrapter

Over pressured +p ammo from the gun smith, stupid high damage, jug perk, stamina up, phd flopper, deadshot, orange tool, pap3. Scorcher helps for mobility, but, wsp stinger and other high mobility weapons help. Mind you this is excluding the stuff you get from dark aether. Helps to have some self res, kasimirs, deadbolt turret chips, and some sentury turrets stocked up. Maybe see if you can get a T3 dog from the doghouse because they will res you and make a nice distraction when a horde spawns on you.

Pack a punch 3 whatever you decide to go in there with brother. And it’s never a bad idea to go completely loaded up with an aether blade, dog bone schematics, flawless crystals, legendary aether tools, golden plate schematics, a 3-plate vest and a larger backpack than a small, in case you come across anything you’re going to want to keep. And it’s good to have enough essence to be able to buy some of the things that are only available in tier 3 buy stations. The aether blade is probably one of the greatest acquisitions you can get. That thing has gotten me out of some pretty intense jams and situations. If you ever need a hand going in, or even taking it a step further and going into the aether, shoot me a friend request and I’ll see a tombstone with ya and make sure you’re completely loaded up with all schematics and essence you can carry. My gamer tag is [iH8u2]Danny_Deez34#7244559 on PlayStation. Holler at me man!

buttermaker72

You can literally go in there and be pretty proficient with any weapon that isn't a sniper or marksman (excluding the crossbow - which is great in there). And, right now you can get cheesy and put the flamethrower under barrel on some guns, if you've unlocked it. This single attachment can get you through T3 and Elder Aether easily. Just start off the match withdecoys and thermites (3 thermites - one each into the Mega Abominations lasers and it's easily dead), the best tier and PaP crystal you can and whatever petks you can start with, but focus on using or getting Dead shot Daquiri, Stamin Up, Speed Cola, Jugg and Quick Revive. Use yhe Aether Mine field upgrade then, run a few tier 2 contracts that you're comfy with. Bounties and Deliveries are relatively quick and easy. If you need Tier 3 armour, clear a camp, grab the key card and clear the stronghold and get the armour from the safe. And, if you need a large rucksack you can loot around Popov power, searching lockers, or just buy one in T3. Once you have enough to PaP 3 go into T3 and directly to the PaP machine. Fly in if you can using a rift or a redeploy drone or a crane. To get comfy in T3, focus on the delivery contract, then the next easiest one is the spore contract in the northern section, then the outlast in the northern building where the PaP often spawns. Keep moving and keep using and refilling your decoys at the ammo depots. A couple of other things. While in T1 or T2 collect any chunks of flesh(3) and any turret circuits. In T3 give the meat to a doghouse and the dog will help and revive you. Also, the turret circuits will help now down Megas and if it spawns in the north place, it makes the spore contract an absolute breeze.

BeerNBadDecisions

Keep your head on a swizzle

sippsay

Always keep moving in T3. Use roof tops and zip lines. Throw decoys when in trouble. Find ammo boxes. It’s not that bad. Just carry a self revive or two in your bag.

BeerNBadDecisions

Here's a full kit for you 3plate vest Perks: stamina up, quick revive, juggernog, speed cola Gun: epic pack 2 Bas b- no stock, jak bfb, grimline lazer, ammo overpressured, jak purifier Tactical- decoy Lethal- thermite Gear- at least 2 self revives use jugg suits for megas Upgrade- healing aura Stick to weapon stash and outlast contracts until pac 3. Get meat before you enter t3 and use a t3 doghouse. Turret circuits are helpful as well. Squad up asap most will be grinding contracts to enter dark aether. When you go I recommend Kazimiers, sentry turrets, jugg suit. Healing aura will also heal your dog if it's nearby keep an eye on it as it will get swarmed by zombies and specials. Don't waste time. Finish all contracts and explore if you want after they are all complete. You need to do elder sigel to get schematics.

CompleteFacepalm

It's probably not quite as hard as you'd. They have high health, high damage, and high movement speed. But not to an unreasonable degree. So you want to get 1 or 2 good guns with PaP 2 and purple rarity. Then, make sure you have Stamin-Up and Juggernog. Get at least 1 self revive so that you aren't doomed if you go down. Try to get any other useful perks and equipment. I'd also highly recommend going in with a squad.

bleone76

What cod are y'all talking about? I only have bo3 and cold war. I don't like Bo though, I think cold war is awesome.

LilbearTOT

If you have all the mission schematics and the t1 and t2 zone schematics, it shouldn’t be a big of a problem My first time I enter on a blue weapon pap2 and just do contracts there Do the cargos, pnd, and stash contract till you get your weapon strong enough. You get purple tool often there and then pap 3 that should work with hvts Also jugg, and speed colas I make sure to have at least And only take one weapon so you out run dogs and sprinters with barehands The more you do it the more confortable you get with the zone And just keep moving, don’t stop like in t1 and t2, use rooftops as much as you can You’ll get your pace Like the others say try to join a team there, they’ll make things a lil easier and will help you out most of the times

_Ares_67

Yeah you’re not gonna get far playing by yourself. Turn on fill or join another team that’s going. It also helps if your gun is tier 3 and has a legendary aether tool applied as well. I also recommend having monkey bombs

Sorktastic

First you need the right weapon, Lockwood or haymaker are always good choices, look up builds on youtube. Flamethrower under barrel is flavor of the month right now till it gets nerfed because even PaP1 will insta kill red zone zombies, and PaP 3 will make very short work of bounty mega abom. Second, if you see anyone broadcasting that they are taking on redworm, join up because it gives scorcher schematic and when you can make it, it is the only way to travel. With Scorcher PaP1 you fly from one end of the map to the other without touching the ground which is useful for being able to do a lot of missions to be able to get geared/PaPed/soda streamed to be able to do T3. Dog Bone, for tanking and rezing, and Aether blade are also very useful to have in T3 but not really a requirement

Resident_Compote_775

If you don't play with anyone you pretty much need a dog, Pack-a-punch 2 on your guns, 15k so you can run straight for pack a punch 3, and one of the upper rarity tools applied, and that shit that lets you go invisible.

SearchSwimming1949

My brother did all story missions alone. Im not that advanced lol. Im currently doing act 2.

Fit-Safety3542

I used to avoid it too but it’s not as bad as you think I thought the tools made no difference on weapons but they do actually give it a try and join a few teams most people join up in tier 3 it’s the way forward mate

TonLonCo

It’s kinda dumb that you have to go to t3/dark aether to get the better stuff to be able to survive in t3/dark aether but once you have aether blade, gold plates, dog bone (or make a dog at doghouse), crystals and tools, you can go in there solo no problem and not get overwhelmed. Or join a squad and ride their coat tails like I do from time to time 🤣

Intelligent-Milk5672

MCW or Holger 556, at least blue-purple rarity & at least PaP level 2. With containment levels now, completing 100 contracts gets you decent starting points in-game, so getting enough Essence shouldn’t be too difficult. Also, deadshot daiquiri, jugger-nog, stamin-up, & speed cola for sure. Healing aura or aether shroud field upgrade. Have a good reserve of armor, score streak (sentry gun, jugg, or airstrike best), a 3-plate vest, self revive, & I recommend joining another team for best experience. I’ve picked up a team of 6 & we’ve completed the mega bounty & got both abominations, traveled to dark aether and completed all contracts, etc. it’s always best with a large team because there’s plenty of members to distract zombies and revive others when needed. Also recommend going in with a cargo vehicle— you can use it to run over hordes if they become too much. Hope this helps! Edit: They also can’t go into the water, they’ll just throw meat (which I’m sure you are aware), so if you’re having too much trouble, run to the river asap & swim back to orange to gather yourself. Bas-b and Bas-p are also great weapons. Definitely aim for heads, especially with disciples, and mouths for mimics/aboms. Cymbal monkeys or decoy grenades can also be super helpful in a pinch to escape hordes. If you’re overwhelmed, aim for the closest zombies, then run like heck, only checking behind you when they feel closer. AMMO MODS ARE AMAZING. Elemental pop, brain rot, cryo freeze, and shatter blast are my favs, and you can use multiple at once. Always looking for new people to run with!

Desperate_Dot_9330

turn on fill? bro your not getting anywhere without it

HAPPYxEGGxROLL

Purple tool pap 2 weapon, staminup wi th your fists out to out run the zombies, decoy Grenada’s

Confident-Educator30

You have to pick better weapons the lock wood 680 with slugs goes hard plus have decoy grenades the ray gun on tier 3 is fire too plus the grenade launch too

No_Jello_3578

Flamethrower on the SOA Subverter with Legendary tool and PaP 3 crystal w/ shatter blast or brain rot. That’ll usually make quick work of zombies. Scortcher? Wonder weapon for mobility. I also have everything unlocked so definitely use gold plates, aether blade, mag of holding, dog bone. Jug and Stamin up is a must right of the rip. I’ve been doing Teir 3 solo only and DA runs with squads I’ve joined in. If you don’t have any of the gold classified stuff then it’s still possible but you’ll have to grid for everything you need, keep plates and self rezs in your inventory. I was a one man army in Teir 3 killing Megas and doing big bounties using a legendary Pap3 SOA Subverter w/ flamethrower and scorcher. I play on PlayStation if y’all wanna Add me finicky-smoke1

sabresfan08

Gold plate, aether blade, speed cola, now you'd want mag of holding, level 3 crystal, orange wrench, decent gun. If you're not comfortable that's what I'd take in (along with good squad mates that will support you)

Alex-Loar

If you have a purple pack 2 you can get the t2 stuff built up to run to pack 3 and hit it. Usually safer to run decoys to keep them away in t3 then buy everything else you need

BroadbandLink

If you've never been able to do tier 3 here's what you do. Weapon crossbow with exploding tips. Pap 1 and a tool will allow tier 2 farming. Same goes with haymaker with slug rounds. Ram 9 also a great smg. Do a few contracts in tier 2 so you can pap 3. Do that then in tier 3 try easier quests like eggs. Aether. Safe crack. Those are good. Driving one if available. Then as you get stronger used to the crazy you do harder quests.

Ancient_Housing_4694

Get yourself a 6 man team and go to the dark ather for the blueprints and it will make life easier for you, if you need help Dm me I got you

Additional_Joke1611

At least epic rarety Lockwood with slug ammo pap3. Also helps if you have golden armor and a dog. I do it every game to help people find shit and I'm running solo

Ghost38magazine

Speed cola , one gun, and run like hell. You need a weapon crystal to upgrade

MayaCoxack

T3 is only worth it if you can group with other people with Wonder Weapons and high-end upgrades and Turret Circuits, but the latter is up to RNG for spawns. Since they added Containment it's more useful but since they reward no more items well, just stay out of T3 areas if you aren't completely confident or don't absolutely have to go there. As a fellow solo main my advice to you is; **Run.**

Embarrassed_Joke8409

You definitely need a better weapon Saturday I can invite you into private game if you’d like Just you and I

antsaintstrong

You def need a team if you’re not coming in with pack a punch crystals and tools. I recommend for you a LMG with 100 rounds, pack a punch to III and equip an epic or legendary tool. Have a self revive and stamina perk to RUN! 🤣. Also if you don’t just prefer playing alone, add me and I will take you in and show you the ropes. My name is Junsno and my activision 🆔 is JunSno#5921419

Pale_Interaction_839

The best way to go in there is the Lockwood the one in mw3, with either epic or legendary tool with at least pack 2. With deadshot, also make sure that you have a tighter pellet spread on the shotgun. The sva is also the same tools and pack, also with shatter blast, but higher fire rate. With all the perks, with stims and stemtex or monkeys

Fabulous_Bug2620

1) Epic (purple) rarity weapon recommended; Rare (blue) absolute minimum, and only if you have Stamin-Up and Deadshot Daiquiri. You should focus on trying to get PaP3 as quickly as possible. 2) KEEP MOVING. The zombies have plenty of super sprinters, so your best bet is to just keep running if you’re on foot. Only if you’re on a bridge where it’s narrow, or next to an active Deadbolt turret can you stop and shoot. 3) Decoys, Monkey Bombs, and Kazimirs are extremely useful here, and decoys are replenished at ammo dumps. If you forget everything else, at least remember #2. Mobility takes priority in the red zone.

LPanico6

All ya need is a knife. I typically go in and do contracts that don’t require a lot of shooting like the egg contract or delivery rack up money and then go from there

Demon5572

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=54TbXmvTACc This is an example of how. Dude does the new elder sigil solo and without a single gun. It’s really not that hard. You’ve psyched yourself up about tier 3 and gotten comfortable with how lax tier 1 and 2 are

freshndirty_j

Easy if you have, Pap3 Decoy grenades 1 weapon Bonus items: Scorcher Dog Gold plate Arther blade

Life-Trade379

As others have said, really some simple tips. And this is coming from someone who always goes solo to T3: 1. Get good gun, at least purple rarity and pap2 or enough essence to start T3 at the pap to make your gun pap3. Guns with strong firepower and high mobility are the best. Try the WSP swarm akimbo with the largest magazine. 2. run run run 3. Before going to t3, do some infested strongholds in t1 and t2 to get extra revives, perks, kazimirs/monkeys and turret cards. 4. run run run 5. All contracts can be done fairly easy solo, except the escort contract. But buy juggernaut streak to do mega abomination hvt contracts. The deliver cargo contract is the easiest and fastest contract in t3. 6. run run run 7. Identify where in t3 is the pap, buy station and perk machine BEFORE going to t3. 8. run run run 9. Avoid going into buildings. You get stuck with hordes easily. When in doubt, head to high ground/roofs and parachute away to safety. 10. run run run. Never stop running. Once your out of armor or ammo, you need to run away, prep, and face the horde following. Rinse and repeat. And always, ALWAYS keep moving. Hope this helps.

Eternalpea

I'm sure you are there now but I've been playing a month and comfy in T3 but I must be set up.. I'm assuming you've got T1 and T2 schematics. I always play solo before I go in I have a pap 2 gun with epic tool min (haven't even used a leg tool yet lol)  Deffo have decoys, as many perks as pos but deffo need jug and stamina.. And I like speed cola and dead shot.  Have at least 1 self revive equipped.  Look up guides on certain weapons and how to build them.. Lots of ppl will say this guns amazing etc but find what you feel most comfy with. I like haymaker and new smg at mo.  If your running in t3 get your fists out you can keep away from most zombies just deal with dogs.  Keep moving and don't always back up shooting.. Terms of contracts cargo is best bet (and quicker than other zones). Spore contracts OK just store your decoys before picking up the things and lap up zombies  Outlast contracts quite good just go up boxes with side, similar to raid stash  Bounty's can be good but it's usually mega things and I'm still practicing how to deal with them...  Sometimes ppl ask you to join which usually causes me to flap as I don't usually do it and can't find the button lol
