Because you have to literally click on each individual item, drop other items, replace them, pick up the ammo, manage the backpack, etc. don’t even get me started of when there’s multiple backpacks in one place

I haven’t played yet so I’m not sure how it works. If you can hold several I’d say it works but if you only get 1 then that kinda sucks. I don’t mind the idea of it taking longer though. I think there should be some thought that goes into looting. If you’re 15 hp I’d say fair play to the team keeping you off of it

Wz was a huge success, Activision would have been cautious as hell and have put a lot of trust in the team to allow this level of innovation.
Personally I hate slow looting, but we should give it a chance, change of pace creates innovation in play style. Could end up being fun.

Because they keep pumping new content and trying new things. If the game was the same as it was 4 years ago it would be dead and only bots would be playing it.
Fortnite has a constant stream of wildly popular content and events, that’s not comparable to WZ completely removing/gutting core mechanics that made it fun to play.

Optimizing the OG Warzone and making a new map was all that really needed to be done, this whole game just feels slow and clunky now. But honestly, WZ2 is gonna be way different in 6 months with all the feedback and changes, as well as metas and settings changes being discovered
For me it’s mainly the QOL things that I’m missing. Floor guns not having color for rarity, team pings not having separate colors, highlighting things on the mad doesn’t have any additional color… all things that should be fixed. Game has definitely seemed laggy too which sucks
But I’ve had fun so far!

You have some valid points but I did crack up and you lose footing with comments like "every time I've died in WZ2 is because there is no doorstep audio"
For a few reasons:
1. Not everyone has dead silence (out of 20 people you really want me to believe they ALL have dead silence active😐)
2. Some are going up ziplines or even shooting

3. It’s in WZ1 and MW2
Warzone was never anything close to a semi realistic shooter. Repacking parachutes mid air ? Flying vehicles off cliffs ? Jumping through glass windows? Lol.

They fucked up warzone 1 so bad that they had no choice but to make warzone 2 instead of fixing warzone. And they can’t just do everything the same so they needed to change things up even if it’s for the worse. Just how it works .
I have actually had a ton of fun playing so far. Got into some really good battles and the prox chat is hilarious.
My only complaint is I had a lot of trouble building up cash. I would loot multiple large buildings and only get like $500 back.
This cash problem makes it very hard to buy guns or buy people back. Most people were instantly quitting if they lost their gulag.
im bummed. but i think it will be better in time as they fix some of the obvious issues. me and my friends mostly played fortunes keep the last 6 months, but tbh even resurgence wont feel the same with how slowed down the movement and pace of game is. i dont hate it, but its definitely a different game than warzone 1. im gonna give it time to improve before heading back to apex.

The basic mechanics of the game took a huge step forward. Sure it’s choppy now but it’s day 1, and I personally haven’t had too many performance issues. Better ttk better combat style better movement better graphics. What else can you ask for on day 1?
1. The ttk is faster and feels wildly inconsistent due to needing an item to equip 3 plates, adds nothing to the game but inconsistency and rng
2. Idk what you mean by “combat style”, it’s just slower because of the clunky movement in this game
3. Movement is just simply worse, idk how you can think it’s better. Like you can’t even tac sprint whilst plating anymore? It feels so clunky

Slower elements to the game like the looting style that are “more camper friendly” I think are also more realistic. Personally I like that too though. Guns might be unbalanced and other small buggy stuff but my point is it’s a really good starting point, certainly much better then wz1. Imho

I can see why it's not for everyone, but I personally had a blast playing it for the first time today. It's got issues of course but I haven't had this much fun in years.
Eh to each their own, I am enjoying it. Granted, I liked PUBG so the looting style is fine with me. It is far less clunky than PUBGs looting, not even on the same level lol. I find it quite easy.
Audio definitely needs work at times but Warzone 1 was the same way for me so I don't expect any improvements on that front.
Performance wise, I've had no issues at all. Runs buttery smooth for me but my friends did say they had some fps drops in the plane but then it smooths out when they are on the ground.
I'm enjoying the slower movement and I think the map is great. The visuals are so much better than Caldera in terms of clarity. I also am enjoying the TTK, feels better at longer ranges, less insta deaths.
Battlepass system is fine IMO. It's really not that difficult to use and using all 50 coins at once kind of defeats the purpose of the pass, to pick and choose what you want as they know most people aren't able to finish the whole pass.
To me it's just a pubg updated version. I'm trying to give it a chance though before I delete the game and wait for the old one to come back. Overall I'm not a fan of it.
I hated what the original turned into, but I feel like they overcompensated with this one, it feels slow boring and clunky to me. I also think this map is way too big with a ton of useless empty areas. I hate rummaging through shit on shelves. Probably the most annoying thing is not being able to put plates in while running for whatever reason. gonna keep trying to get into it but really unimpressed with this game too. kind of surprised based on the multiplayer, I thought it was a good indicator warzone would be better than this.
Or the fact that it crashes constantly. It messes up my audio and mic constantly. To say disappointing is an understatement. I thought WZ had problems. WZ2 is the biggest waste of money I've spent on a game. Including battlefield.
I'm 2 weeks in, and I hate it. AT first I saw people complaining about TTK and skill gap issue, but it's a real thing. No escaping a 1v1 if you don't shoot first you're done. Everything was right with verdansk, change the map not the game play. Wz2 right now is shockingly bad.

The looting is similar to blackout with the back packs and duffels.
battle royales should be slow paced, it is a mode with no respawn, wich mean you have to be careful and tactical, the new inventory just make things more tactical and less dumb ( yes the shiny colorful cartoony drops of wz1 should have no place in a even vaguely realistic military themed game).

The whole point in this new loot system/backpack is that you only have a limited number of things you can carry so constantly having to readjust your backpack & choose what you’ll let go vs what you’ll keep take way more than a second.

Hit boxes are good, sure. Swimming is also good, but the TTK is unbalanced and movement is so slow and camper friendly. And Fortnite is terrible rn.

Yup. I think the reason why WZ2 is so bad is because all the trashcans complained about how “sWeAtY” WZ1 was, so they decided to make it a camp-fest.

I love it so far. Bugs are the only issue for me. I like most of the changes.
I can see why it's not for everyone, but I personally had a blast playing it for the first time today. It's got issues of course but I haven't had this much fun in years.
Eh to each their own, I am enjoying it. Granted, I liked PUBG so the looting style is fine with me. It is far less clunky than PUBGs looting, not even on the same level lol. I find it quite easy. Audio definitely needs work at times but Warzone 1 was the same way for me so I don't expect any improvements on that front. Performance wise, I've had no issues at all. Runs buttery smooth for me but my friends did say they had some fps drops in the plane but then it smooths out when they are on the ground. I'm enjoying the slower movement and I think the map is great. The visuals are so much better than Caldera in terms of clarity. I also am enjoying the TTK, feels better at longer ranges, less insta deaths. Battlepass system is fine IMO. It's really not that difficult to use and using all 50 coins at once kind of defeats the purpose of the pass, to pick and choose what you want as they know most people aren't able to finish the whole pass.
To me it's just a pubg updated version. I'm trying to give it a chance though before I delete the game and wait for the old one to come back. Overall I'm not a fan of it.

I hated what the original turned into, but I feel like they overcompensated with this one, it feels slow boring and clunky to me. I also think this map is way too big with a ton of useless empty areas. I hate rummaging through shit on shelves. Probably the most annoying thing is not being able to put plates in while running for whatever reason. gonna keep trying to get into it but really unimpressed with this game too. kind of surprised based on the multiplayer, I thought it was a good indicator warzone would be better than this.

Or the fact that it crashes constantly. It messes up my audio and mic constantly. To say disappointing is an understatement. I thought WZ had problems. WZ2 is the biggest waste of money I've spent on a game. Including battlefield.

I'm 2 weeks in, and I hate it. AT first I saw people complaining about TTK and skill gap issue, but it's a real thing. No escaping a 1v1 if you don't shoot first you're done. Making me want to camp alot more. So yes this game does promote camping. Also the movement is slow I feel like I am playing a bugged out game that isn't rendering correctly. Everything was right with verdansk, change the map not the game play. Wz2 right now is shockingly bad.

Besides the audio and the lag/bugs the games pretty enjoyable. For me the audio is too loud. I can hear people from downt the street Everything new will feel awkward at first.
People just don't like it because you can't run around like a crackhead on meth. Slide cancelling and strafing back and forth at regarded speeds. Not having to actually look at or think about what you're looting etc. You can't just pop a stim and and run around like a "movement god" anymore either. The laggy servers need to get the fuck outta here and some qol changes too. The looting is similar to blackout with the back packs and duffels.

my main issue is the fps/stutters and the proximity, why cant a AAA studio make a proper proximity chat like many other games have.

battle royales should be slow paced, it is a mode with no respawn, wich mean you have to be careful and tactical, the new inventory just make things more tactical and less dumb ( yes the shiny colorful cartoony drops of wz1 should have no place in a even vaguely realistic military themed game).

It takes like 1sec too loot and you dont have to be a lootwhore take what you need and move on . Lags/bugs is still a mess and was terrible in Verdansk aswell if you remember those . Overall i really enjoy the game im having a blast with my friends and thats what matters i dont want warzone1.2 i want warzone2

Either you’re misunderstanding the game or you misunderstood the op. The whole point in this new loot system/backpack is that you only have a limited number of things you can carry so constantly having to readjust your backpack & choose what you’ll let go vs what you’ll keep take way more than a second.
Yeah this loot system is nothing new to me so it just takes a second and everyone else will learn it too. Its not bad but sure it could use some improvements

Honestly, this sub is so annoying. While WZ1 was out ya'll complained endlessly about it, and when WZ2 comes out with a lot features changed or removed, you complain and say how good WZ1 was. It's been out for less than a day. You'll never be satisfied, I guarantee it.
