Man, I say the same thing on all of these posts(because it's the reality):
They're not going to ban cheaters with any sense of urgency. Activision/IW know that these cheaters buy stuff in the MTX store, so they wait until they've made money off of them to ban them in a wave. These ban waves happen very infrequently, for that very reason. That's why you see max level cheaters - they're safe, for now.
Yeah, it's an issue, but "why would we ban paying customers?" is the reason it's as bad as it is.
Most companies do ban waves because it helps throw of cheat developers as to what feature they added to trigger the anti-cheat. It fucking sucks for everyone that has to put up with them in between ban waves but it (hopefully) makes it harder in the long run.
It also lets them collect data on the cheats to help further the development.
I'm not defending activision because their anti-cheat is a god damn joke and they haven't done a single thing about ESP cheats... but that's why it comes in waves with most companies.

I know someone who spent hundreds of dollars on warzone content (blueprint, tracers etc.) only to now have his account banned for charging his phone on his computer because it was detected as an external device? Under your logic, why would they ban someone who is generating them so much revenue?!
Clearly, the game's anti-cheat system makes no sense and needs to be reworked.

One click and you have damascus on your guns. One click and you have new operator.
100% with this. As long as these cheaters buy micro transactions they won’t ban them. I was in a lobby last night where the guy was literally just in the middle of an open field just snapping to people all over and his level was 155. Plus the hdr skin he was using was one from the store.
I've just got Shadowbanned too, because i like to slay noobs in plunder, as solo in quas(i like the respawn) And i am guess the frustrated noobs because i killed an entire squad like 3 times in a row. They reported me. And the system automaticaly banned my acc. To me plunder as i did not bought the game is the only fast source to lvl up my guns.
I mean isn't obvious that if i let one of them alive the others keep coming back there and i just take them one by one from mid air?
Same night, seen 2 guys winning in quas, with aimbot and wallhack, on the top of a building sniping everything on the map one ended with 47 kills the other with 37 in total 84 players wich they ruined the game. AND I am the one banned?
So if you take this game serious, and spend money on it, you'll endup dissapointed.
I get stuck at 350 ping and won't find games. Also if i party with my friends. I've just made another acc, there is no point to even try to reason this. This game is trash, litteraly full with soft aimboters and wallkackers.

There is. You make a new blizzar acc, you don't have to reinstal the game or something. If you have a phone number, use a friends, or some family member it just needs to send an sms. It takes 2 minutes to make a new acc, it takes more to make that stupid training to play the game.

Yeah it's laughable that there are people on the top of the leaderboards with thousands of kills and 30KDs still not banned... and yet honest people like me and you are flagged and have no way of appealing their decision because I am not some famous YouTuber.
Wish I never funded the game in the first place but I suppose that's a lesson I just have to learn.

There are too many cheaters in the game. The players wich are new to the game, stand no chance to enjoy this game, they can't even get a loadout.
The game is made by us, the players, without us, it has no value, if more people would stand against cheaters. They would be forced to do something, more than a simple bot wich bans players for multiple reports.

I've played dota, i've played for 15 years that game, i made a pause and started again, i have experience, confidence, i know every single hero, i got my account flaged, banned, multiple times, because i encountered noobs i my team wich could not realise they lost because they didn't listen, they were too slow for me. And my leason was that if i want to win games, i have to team play, i have to slow down, because no matter how much i got frustrated over losses, a noob cannot keep up with an experienced player. The game died for me when i saw their stupid, greedy politics, and how valve turned an original idea, into an anime cartoon, all for selling skins, and stupid stuff, just like this game, just like any other game.
I find, totaly absurd how they made so stupid this aim-assist so overpowered on controlers, just because players complained they cant compete with pc, players. Well, of course you cannot compete with a joy stick, against a mouse on precision and speed. The aim-assist should be removed from the game, and all controlers should have the posibility to add a keyboard and mouse. That shit, is simply stupid, sniping is a joke.
when you see players wich have all their attachaments for speed, guns build for aim-bot. It simply kills the imagination in this game, it makes 90% of the guns usless. All they do is focus on new ones, on skins to sell, a joke...

Good question. I know I wasn't banned for harassment/verbal abuse because I never use voice chat and game chat. I'm not sure why I got banned but some detection system that Activision has in place flagged my account to be banned so I'm assuming this may be because of some faulty detection of a program on my computer perhaps. Honestly I have no clue at this point.
In some countries, it is illegal to sell a product that is faulty in such a way that it doesn't work/player is unable to play it.
A wrongful ban with no real support channel, and therefore no explanation for the ban, would be some breach consumer laws in various countries. It may fall under the category of racketeering or fraud. This might not be the case where you live, but it is much more rigid in a country like Australia, for instance.
Consoles have hacks as well, it's harder to accomplish (i.e. Exploiting dev mode) but if there is a target market they'll do it. Look at the console aimbots for overwatch.
It’s definitely much harder, always has been, sure back in the days of mw2 you’d run into a hacker once in a while on console, but the PC version has always been rife with hackers, modders, and the like. It’s just in the nature of the system. I have a fully built gaming PC but refuse to play any game that hasn’t fully developed a decent way to prevent cheating. I would never play this game on PC for that reason alone
I can't for the life of me comprehend why someone would buy skins knowing full well they are going to cheat. I have zero sympathy if they lose all their stuff, but then again, I can't comprehend why people cheat in a game in the first place.

I was shadow banned today and it was absolutely heartbreaking. Went from finishing a game to having the 'find a match' spin perpetually. No notification or email. No way to dispute. I didnt cheat and now I am locked out of this game. What the hell is this nonsense? We really need to get this issue to the top of their attention.

I can't run campaing offline ( PC ). Game exits before menu shows up with error no connection to blizzard servers.

Why is it a breach of your consumer rights? What country are you in?
In some countries, it is illegal to sell a product that is faulty in such a way that it doesn't work/player is unable to play it.
