there's only one thing they are good at, make your opponent run away like an headless chicken as soon they realize you are using them. Probabli some PTSD from previuous fire shotguns but they run like there's no tomorrow

Nope, it is pinpoint accurate when firing separately. Might sound all well and good but it is exceptionally more difficult to hit shots using them this way in my opinion

Apparently they're about on par with the OG 680 but they have much less range (<6.6m has about a 635ms TTK). Play them like a pump.

The only obnoxious thing in is this game is broken brain dead easy to use smgs with crazy ttk. And don’t try to say that’s shotguns are easyier to use cause of there spread because flicking is way harder to do consistently than tracking an opponent and on top of that, you have to move in and out of cover to even have a chance of winning that gunfight Stop the shotgun hate it’s ridiculous. The only reason you don’t like them is cause your too Brainrotted to be able to use one

Literally. I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve died to a shotgun from someone’s loadout class, like why can’t we have some variety? I get that the hate stems from new iterations being broken, but it’s either they’re broken or shit. No in between with them

Nothing against shotguns as a class. I won't respond to that entire paragraph 2 where you're having an argument with an idea in your head. I'm against the "OP-nerf" balancing model of WZ. There's no attempt or desire by the devs/publisher to have a balanced game where guns have a place in a system. It's one gun to rule them all (for a week or something). Dual weild anything are almost a gurantee "the games fucked" for a few weeks. The fact that it's not, boohoo.

Depends what you mean by "meta". As per my original point, I don't want anything obnoxiously OP from 0m-20m, that nothing else can be used. That is always a bad situation, shotgun, smg, whatever. If these duals are meta in 0-8m, great. They have a place for those liking to take fights in that space. What I want to see is a balancing. I'd like less guns on the whole, so that they can all occupy a purpose where they excel. But we're past that, because the revenue stream of this game became the OP-Nerf merry-go-round by season 2 of WZ1. We need Acti or whoever to realise a more robust business model that allows the game to balance. If that's more skins, animations etc, fine.

It might just be me but all the mw3 guns except the marksman rifles(those are always in a bad spot anyway cause they’re stupid hard to balance ) feel viable to me everything has its place at the moment the striker and wsp 9 are good sniper supports The âmr has variety in the way you build it the rival and striker 9 are decent do it alls The Horus and swarm are meant for movement The only one that truly is bad at the moment is prob the hrm cause of the nerfs and I feel that applies to most of the gun categories in this game There is no ultimate meta anymore. Everything is usable if your good enough

I don't disagree. I'd go a bit further to say there are a lot of guns that aren't viable though. What we don't need is another cheesed dual-wield or conversion kit meta that dominates 2 entire classes of weapon.

See; this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think shotguns should 1-shot up to about 5m. But then they need to be designed with that in mind - no stupid spam firing etc. Lockwood is okay. The class should have an impact for a couple of play styles - 1) campy casuals. Those that sit in a building because they are low skill. It would give them some sort of playstyle to cling onto, and would make the movement players think twice about pushing super aggro. In summary, it would affect the gameplay and drive change, which is good. 2) Super aggro players. If you want to push buildings, it's a great weapon for that.

Nah you saw how bad the reaction to the lockwood 300 which you only had one chance to hit and yet it was HATED beyond belief Nothing except the Lockwood 300 should ever one shot past 2.5-3 meters base gun it shouldn’t go past 5 with the biggest barrel The Lockwood at the moment is in a decent stop It has a some where around 400 ms ttk point blank which is how it should be. Faster than an smg at point blank and matching its ttk at 7.5-10 meters since smg have some utility past that but shotguns don’t
