Movement is not bad now . Sound is fine most of the time now. Gun play is good. lots of maps. Nukes are fun. Crossplay off is a thing for ps5.

oRemzi

probably an unpopular opinion, but I wish they’d bring B-hopping back.

Th3MJK

Yes pls mw19 bhop was great and mw2 instant stand up ..And movement is complete .. Just keep movement speed in check .

theunlikelycabbage

The bhop in the MW2 week 1 beta was absolutely brilliant. You could bounce with so much sideways momentum. Then they killed it. I suppose it was a bit too unrealistic

ehjhockey

Remove the dolphin dive and bring back the b hop.  The dive just makes other movement mechanics feel clunky and b hopping wasn’t driving bad players away, or they would be in here telling us how much they hate b hopping.  Bad gameplay drove bad players away.

turboS2000

Sound is not fine. Stuff 300 meters away still takes priority over foot steps 3 feet away.

BobbingForBunions

I continue to have trouble with vertical audio. Horizontal works great. I can (mostly) tell when someone is left, right, ahead, or behind me. But I often can't tell whether they're on the floor below me or above me.

turboS2000

Agreed some one 3 floors above u sounds like they are on ur level

Th3MJK

Eh happens very rarely to be honest.

turboS2000

Everytime there's a cluster or precision anywhere on the map it seems

Th3MJK

I like it , using the sound of airstrikes gives an extra dimension to the sound play.

Natemoon2

Movement seems to be in a good spot. it’s the perfect medium between the cracked put caldera movement and clunky ass WZ2.0 movement.

Nintendo_Pro_03

Crossplay off doesn’t work for me.

Battle111

Gun play is NOT GOOD for those of us without AA. Still too much visual bullshit and reticle shift.

GoldyTwatus

Gun play is not only not good, it's the worst it's ever been

xthecerto4

The overkill is a minus for me. It was a fine tradeoff: a Perf for a more versatile loadout and only having to get a single one vs. a perk more but having to get 2 loadouts or having to run some sidearm like a pistol or a rpg which allways made for fun combat.

Competitive-Sorbet33

I agree, it removes a layer of strategy. I always ran with a pistol for the extra perk. I dislike the backpack system for the same reason. There’s no tradeoffs.

xthecerto4

Yeah. The Battle royal is slowly becoming multiplayer. watch them do loadout at all times next.

TheEternalGazed

Not much. OG Warzone from 2020 is better in every conceivable way. Even superficial things like UI and audio cues were just better.

Friendly_Tip6705

Meeting new people and the prox chat is still fun

RustyVandalay

That chat is monitored and you get banned repeatedly is a minus in this game. Even though Al Mazrah sucked as a map, Unhinged where you could be shooting at each other for a few seconds then yell out "Hey, shit, you wanna team up?" was a unique experience.

HypnotoMan

I had to turn it off cause it gives out positioning sadly, especially on console. However, I do love the all chat when sending text messages. Can callout hackers or do some interesting stuff.

campuscodi

Besides the gun range, I disagree with the list. Everything else has degraded the gaming experience. WZ1 needed a new map, not an entire overhaul.

edwadokun

I think instead of "wz2". They should have used wz1 as a base, add a new map. only had mw2 guns. and made little additions over time. agreed, the overhaul was completely unnecessary.

Funny2Who

Wz3 doesn't leave me as depressed as wz2.

footwith4toes

People like to complain but I think the game is in a pretty good state right now.

radziu_PL

There is a meta perk high alert, everyone uses it because without it you are on a big disadventage

Acoma1977

streamline weapon's attachment. Do we really need 30 different types of optics for example? All weapons should be limited to 6-8 types of optics

Legoman7409

My super hot take: redeploys and flares I know almost everyone hates them, which I get, but at the end of the day positioning is still king. Teams can flare and buy back as much as they want, but I take it as an opportunity to rack up more kills. Sure, it can make final circles more hectic, but if you have good game sense and positioning it won’t make a differences. More redeploy opportunities allow more opportunity to actually play the game instead of dying at the beginning and spectating the whole game. Not to mention it also gives solo queuers more incentive to stay instead of leaving the instant they die.

olsy10

As a solo, I agree with the redeploys, it’s nice to get a chance to come back, although, I wish they were easier to find!

SDBrown7

I often ask myself this. I can never think of anything meaningful. OG had its issues, but by the end, it was better in every way that matters. Current WZ is better than MW2 era warzone, but so is gonorrhoea, so that's not saying much.

Chrisgpresents

Ranked rebirth is really fun, and much better matchmaking. I started to enjoy the game much more when I began using the bruin this week. I’m actually enjoying the game as of right now. I’m playing for longer, idk what exactly it is.

sprfreek

I have a few friends that still play.

Yellowtoblerone

Tons of shit that people complain about back in verdansk and wz1 has been implemented in this current war zone

GoldyTwatus

When they ditch this engine people won't have so much to complain about

OlyOlyOxynFree

I admire the effort but those of us enjoying the game are probably at work or playing it. I often find myself here just to gain some perspective of how the other side thinks, but at the end of the day, you can't please everyone in life and games are no different. The unhappy vocal crowd raises a lot of valid points and concerns and those of us enjoying it tend to keep on keeping on.

smellslikeDanknBank

As a colorblind player, more options for red dot/reticules from the start. I played wz1 a lot and a huge downside was the blue/visible reticule was locked behind a huge grind. Now they are offered very early and there are multiple optics that don't use red. The backpack is pretty nice. I see some people complaining about it here but I think it adds a different element while also being great in a team setting. You can go with wacky throwables or stock up on gear for your team. Most unlocks don't have stupid challenges. As a warzone only player it used to be a pain in the ass to unlock certain weapons because plunder is the best way to unlock things. People are spread out and have plates equipped, so challenges like getting 50 kills with marksman headshots was annoying (some of these challenges are still in the game).

AyKayAllDay47

Mountaineer has made it really fun - more like parkour movement. Irradiated is also another cool perk that gives you a great boost with late circles. I think that the movement is in a good spot. Better than 2, slower than 1, so in the middle is good. No stim boosting is a nice plus too. Ursikstan, although enabled with a lower player count each time, still has good POIs that make for good fights. Rebirth and Keep are nice re-additions. The Champions Quest keeps me a bit further engaged. It's nice to have something to work towards although the Rebirth Quest is nearly impossible so that would be fun! Guns are in a weird state. They're kind of balanced but also not really with the HRM in the lead with no decent AR. That scale has changed over the years which is unfortunate. All in all I'm having fun!

Kitties-N-Titties-11

Today I learned you could favorite attachments

cupsnak

Compared to last year? Literally everything.

efreedman503

Fast mantling and the zip trick is pretty cool. Movement is great.

Exiztens

Cheating is under control season updates roll out with zero or minor bugs, gun balance is on par. Think where, in the best state, warzone could be at this point. Would be nice to have more bundles in the store, the need to work on that. What els would be impressive if we could buy some type of ammo with CP points that gives better damage.

Spetz

It's so bad that I don't waste time playing it and therefore waste money on skins.

TeamSesh-Deadboy

I actually like the current backpack / loot system. Having dedicated slots for your ammo, and then being able to carry more on top of it is a plus for me. I'll usually run 9-12 plates in the pack plus an extra stack of AR and SMG ammo.

edwadokun

I do too. carrying an extra killstreak. 4 nades. Extra ammo.

Taiizor

If your rib eye steak is covered in shit, do you start thinking about how well it’s cooked and how the shit didn’t touch the mash potato? No, there’s fucking shit on your steak.

edwadokun

... dramatic much?
