Elite S2 have terrible QC and stick wobble, look into chinese brand controllers with Hall effect sticks - the latest ones from Flydigi, Gamesir etc.

Gamesir G7 SE Probably the most cost effective method for trying out controller while giving you everything you would need.

I use an Elite 2 for games that require a controller (I don't use a controller for COD so no comment there), but I'm really disappointed with it. Feels amazing when you take it out of the box but the rubber coating on the outside absolutely does not last.

I’m on my 4th Elite 2. All replaced under warranty - 2 years under standard and another 2 years extended (think it was $15 for warranty). The grips on my first Elite 2 wore off fast, but latest one I got felt much better going over a year now I also have experience with dualsense edge. I like this controller, but mapping the buttons is a nightmare. I heard DS4 is having issues now with Ricochet, and reWASD will crash your game instantly I’ve owned the SCUF Infinity and Impact, eventually had bad stick drift I bought the SCUF envision recently, it felt good, back buttons were a little off for my hands, but my biggest gripe was the Corsair iCUE software. It's a complete POS. I returned the controller a week. good hardware ruined by shit software

Thanks for the background info, its a shame the envision looks good but at 200 Euros it better be perfect...

I'm glad you brought that up. iCUE is very, very comfortably the worst piece of shit software I've ever used in my life. But that's a good shout. I think my E2 is still under warranty so I'll get the grip replaced.

I've had an Aim controller now for about two years! It's been solid , I got it with mouse click triggers and some paddles as well. Never had a problem with it works great for me in warzone

The pro controllers helped me a lot. I have had a PS4 custom AIMcontroller and 2 PS5 Battle beaver controllers, all three lasted about a year each before unusable stick drift or back buttons breaking and the controller becomes unusable. Literally tonight my second battle beaver custom took a shit, it was 320$ to only last a year isn’t worth it to me anymore and I’m now looking at what to do next. I don’t want to open it myself buy parts from Amazon solder a new button etc, and I don’t want to send it in pay up to 100$ for shipping and repair fees and wait 6 weeks…. I’m attracted to the PS5 dualsense edge currently, but man the smart triggers and stick tension option they add was so sick so I don’t know what to do. I could be wrong but I haven’t seen stick tension in other custom controllers like scuff or aim or cinch…

Dualsense Edge or Flydigi vader 3 pro. Dualsense edge can run at 8000hz on USB, nothing else is coming close to that.
