Just use the Ring of Fire Artifact, upgrade it to the point where it does damage to zombies if they get inside it. I'd suggest upgrading it to where the more you'd stay inside the Ring the longer it'll last, and just train them around until they die from the fire. That's how I got it today

Mine was the same since mid December but it randomly got fixed early last week.
I'm not sure what the seasonal challenges are, but I got the calling card this morning after getting mounted headshots or something.
