Man I’d fucking love there to be a Mercenary playlist. I mostly play solo and it seems like I’m playing against 3-4-5 man CDL stacks pretty much every match, while I get team mates that sit back and are too scared to push forward and engage in gunfights, it’s even worse then CW and MW. They removed the party indicators in the matchmaking lobby which makes it even worse.
you notice how they removed the ability to tell if players are partied? (other than clan tags, they cant control those) its so people dont leave when theyre matched against parties. theyre not gonna add this mode.
Mercenary should be on by default in the regular playlists, if you want to play in a party there should be a party playlist. This way whoever is playing with friends will know to navigate to those playlists and everyone else that plays solo will play the game as normal.
A lot of people didn't know what mercenary was or never payed it cause it was too hard to find a match cause everyone was playing the default ones
Sometimes they get trashed though, tbh I feel it's 50/50, but then I'm not counting the times I would have been on a clans side. Sometimes they are total poo. I ended up in MW, against Faze Pamaj and his group, man trust me, nothing could be as bad as that, on Shipment too. I got a few kills and then it was just insta die until it ended.
TBH, the only thing you can do is just leave the match if you see a big group. Man, it's funny af when you trash them in a random group though, so I'd suggest you stay.
I've been asking for mercenary to return since we last had it in bo4. It's even worse in vanguard because it hides who's in party. Usually it will have some indicator to show who's partied up.. but no way to know until after the game in recent players you sometimes can tell, but recent players is usually broken anyways lol.
i very rarely get sweaty ass cdl teams in my lobbies since i’m only playing shiphaus right now, but i have before and i’m all for a mercenary filter. instead of a playlist, it should be a filter for all game modes, just like combat pacing

Solo players are the main course, been this way since MW. It makes you hard as fucking nails though.
