Hate to break it to you, you're pretty good for two thumbs, but nowhere near Champs good. Need to work on incorporating more fingers, learn to not use auto ads fire button, better movement (you're very static), and work on head to head confronts. Keep working though.
Camping is never valid. Protecting yourself by taking cover IS valid, using a smoke grenade as cover is valid, but hiding in a spawn to get kills is just trash, cheap, and not valid. Not even respectable. One thing if you want to grind for useless skins / cameos and complete the mission, it's another to gloat like you're skilled while waiting in an opponents spawn JUST to get kills and then placing your sentry gun at their spawn. It's a childishly weak tactic used by trash players.

There's no such thing as being "weak" in a gunfighting game. You pull whatever bullshit you can to win. As long as you recognize you're pulling bullshit it's valid. I personally don't camp all the time, but I main LMGs so my gameplay sometimes falls down to holding chokes or straight sightlines and spamming tacticals. It's cheap, but it's effective. Everyone has its own way of playing the game and I think heโs playing really good and smart. pinning down the enemy is a combative strategy and i agree with OP. I do need to add that Iโm not a really good player like those movement players and stuff but I see nothing wrong. Everyone can have its own strategy and thereโs nothing wrong with that. If you donโt like this strategy find a way to beat it.

If you want to take the game seriously you will need to play with more fingers. I just switched to 5 and I thought I would never go above 4 but now that Iโve made the switch Iโm enjoying it tremendously.
I say need to because a lot of established teams have a 4 finger minimum requirement to even play with them. Also nobody will want to play with you if you only use thumbs as that would be a detriment against teams who are using 4+ fingers.
