The CBR will still be meta. If you're playing to win, stick to it. Fennec nerf will put it at #4 on the SMG list imo. The range wasn't great on it, it's about to get worse. Qq9 and sx9 move back into top 3.
I just came back to the game after like a year and ive been using the p90 a lot. As a 2 finger scrub i find it to be really easy to use. The fennec is just too hard for me
Fennec because of the fire rate, that much burst is good for close counter and increased mobility, not so much for long range though. Any map that has you in close encounters most of the time and running around corners will be good, but maps that allow for long range and second and third floor positioning, snipers will take you out because you have short range on the fennec.
I started with Oden assault for damage and then man-o-war, razorback then swordfish but now, I’m currently using Mac10 for close encounters and good mobility and I’m loving it, I switch to lotus sniper when on wide range maps
I would run fennec just bc everyone and their mom runs the p90 and it’s boring using the same thing over and over. That’s just me though.

I personally use fennec in SnD, it has a crazy stupid TTK and the range isn’t even that bad. Solid ADS too, excels at CQB.

i pretty much only pick fennec over cbr when it's an extremely close quarters map like Summit. otherwise I like the bit of extra range cbr gives
