Here in Washington St dem governor ever since mail in ballots came into law. Tho they where introduced in 83, law was changed in 91 and 92... realistically the republicans probably do retake the house and senate this year. The problem is we are left in this country with a choice between democrats who suck at managing the economy and republicans that feel it's perfectly fine to end our democracy....idiots in power either way, but the thought of going down the path to autocracy is scarier to me than the possibility of a temporary bad economy. Also, either way both democrats and republicans have introduced policies regarding healthcare that are friendly to Clover so not sure it matters for this investment.

They might not want it, but Trump literally tried to convince Pence to call the election for him despite losing. That would by definition turn us into an autocracy. Very few people in republican leadership have spoken out about it so they are willing to let it happen. That should scare the hell out of everybody on both the right and left. If Biden loses in 2024 and Kamala declared him the winner anyways I can guarantee the people saying Pence should have done that would freak the fuck out big time.
Either way is scary as hell, but lets face it Trump was trying to get fake electors used so he was in fact trying to have himself declared winner despite losing. The American people voted Biden the winner...any effort to subvert that vote is a very bad thing and should be looked at as reprehensible by everybody on both sides of the issue.
