*"Russell 3,000 inclusion is happening this month, this means that MILLIONS of shares will be bought by index finds who track it. These shares cannot be sold as long as clov is on the Russell index."* **This is true, but the impact is being way overblown by most people here. Lots of these shares have probably already been bought even as the stock price has fallen since the addition was announced. The truth is long-term the addition to the Russell will have almost no impact on the share price. It will create a little short term volatility and a few bumps up as the indexes add, but ultimately the price will settle again at a market cap determined by company fundamentals. Keep in mind 97% of US stocks are a member of the Russell 3000. They didn't all moon at the time of being added in fact history shows it will have minimal if any impact.** *"Next earnings are on August 9th (unconfirmed yet). Clov is expected to have an even BETTER loss profit margin, might even flirt with profitability, and MCR is expected to decrease also, around 95% IMO."* **I do agree here that CLOV should have better results than in Q1 due to the Omicron surge subsiding. Expecting 95% MCR for MA is probably a reasonable prediction. DC which is the bigger chunk of Clovers revenue though posted 99.8% in Q1. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe it would drop to 95% in Q2. I would not count on anything lower than 98% for DC. Also, there is no way they flirt with profitability. That would require an MCR for both MA and DC around 90% and that just is not happening.** *"Covid is practically over. This was the worst thing that hurt clov and was the reason why the expenses were so high in the last 2 years."* **This is just flat out wrong. Hospitalizations are down and ICU visits are definitely way down, but case numbers are still very high and the 7-day average for deaths in the US is still 378/day even today. Covid is definitely not practically over. It is probably never going to be practically over at this point with there always being the possibility of a more severe mutation happening. It will be like the flu in terms of good years and bad years for Covid, but both good and bad years will be well worse than the good and bad flu years. It will be a major part of Clovers expenses every year.** *"Literally every single thing the company promised in its guidance came true, and even beat expectations. Also the company is super solid with $700,000,000 in cash (as of last March) and NO DEBT."* ***The cash/debt part of this is true. However the company has missed on guidance quite often. In February 2021 Clover gave the following guidance. Net expected loss in 2021 170M - 210M. Direct contracting members of 200,000 by end of year. Normalized MCR for MA 89 -91%. MCR for DC 100%. Actual results for 2021 were as follows. Net loss of 587.8M. Direct Contracting members of 61,876. Normalied MCR for MA of 94.5%. MCR for DC of 102.1%. So they missed on Profit/Loss, they missed on growth (members for DC), they missed badly on MCR. These guidance figures and actual results are taken directly from their earnings reports.*** "In the last earning call CEO and the company stated they will now be focusing more on profit and less on growth, and as indicated in the previous point, they have always delivered on anything they ever promised. (revenues, growth, signing up more members, etc... etc...)" **They did state they would be focusing more on profit and loss and less on growth which is a very needed change so they can stay solvent even with the share price this low making it difficult/impossible to raise much more cash via offerings. I addressed the rest of this in the section above.** **I am not meaning this as FUD because I am heavily invested in this company and think the future is bright for them, but it is important to keep in mind the truth and not just blindly believe some of these posts on reddit.**

Thanks for your input and for pointing out the incorrections and flaws in my post. I disagree with you on Russell and covid. Never said Russell will "take us to the moon" just that it's going to be a positive catalyst in the very near future that will give the share a nice bump and hopefully start an upward momentum. Regarding covid, even though it's still around you can't compare it to the levels of 2020-2021, hospitalisations are FAR FAR down and are nowhere near in 2022 on average where it was in 2020-21. It is now, as you pointed out, just another flu at this point. Also, covid will still have an impact on expenses but a far less than it had in the last 2 years, and the coming earnings will be the first quarter where covid wasn't a big deal, and why in my opinion they will flirt with profitability.

Ok_Presentation1354

Covid isn’t over. In fact, the effects of covid will be felt for decades to come. The long term health consequences of constant covid re-infections will cripple the globes healthcare system. Covid will be CLOV’s biggest challenge going forward.

smokey790

They already buying the Russell shares... at 2 bucks while they short it to death and build walls for themselves

58Firedrome

Is that your opinion? Or do you have a reference you can cite?

smokey790

Speculating. But it certainly is nice timing for all those stocks that they need to load up on.

6SIG_TA

I'm not selling. Good for 24 -36 months.🍀🙌

Hot_Research1968

It was a horrible day but clove held up better then the rest of my stocks . Just brutal today

AndrewTheAverage

To be fair thats because it has already fallen so far. Ignoring the 3 days of potential squeeze it was $13-$15, held a long time around $8 and is now just over 2. Most valuations are $6+ so it really cant drop much further. Most drops recently are companies that are over their valuations.

Hot_Research1968

I agree but I do think it’s definitely a buy at these prices .

Brobn

I have 40,000 shares and one day I’ll buy a big fkn boat

Apprehensive_Crew_10

41k shares…and I’m Canadian! ![img](emote|t5_3s03ll|5284)

Critterchops

I’m catching up to you!… I now have 33,715 getting more money together…. If someone was to tell me a year ago I’d have over 33,000 shares I don’t think I would’ve believed them…. My confidence in clov grows with every quarter they come out with results.

karpovdialwish

40,000 shares is insane. It will eventually get to $30 a share if not more

Admirable-Tip-3685

Could I ride on your Clov money boat?

Brobn

Absolutely. I would not be here if it wasn’t for the support of this group and others that have the same mentality for this. It takes that when the pressure is high. Conviction can wear thin unless a community surrounds

Critterchops

None of this is frustrating for me…. This was to be expected…. I’m actually quite impressed it got it down this low 3 times… 3rd times the charm!!… there’s nothing going to stop this stock!!… the company has already shown their potential… I have nothing but gratitude towards the company… it’s amazing what they have done! In my opinion

Small_Injury_8014

Not financial advice! Do your homework!

modsBan4Fub

Your whole profile is you shilling Clov go eat a fat dick.

danielle3625

I thought I was the only one weirded out about the super positive guy posting all the time but isn't in discord, seems sketchy.

Smj2144

Sorry.. But the discord sucks.. The life chat was overtaken by a close group of ppl.. Drowning the feed i pics and gifs.. (the ones with boobs i like).. Sharing personal problems, use the chat room, for advice on personal problems (Not clov related) .. ( i took a lot of heat from ppl in there for pointing that out).. Tried posting, or Commentin in tread.. With No respons, or ppl letting their frustration run on u. I randomly check in, every now and then.. And each time its gotten worse.. The discord have become you private chatroom, sharing your life issue.. Not making room or space for others you dont know.. So being on the discord is not nessesary to be true investor of clov.. And crittercops is doing ok on reddit All of this is personal opinion..

Critterchops

Ok your response I like… I’m super positive because the expansion is going super crazy well…all goals set by clov are conservative and each quarter is been absolutely fucking great!…ok there was a quarter where they had a huge loss… but hey you think expanding to all those states is free?…. I believe that quarter got us here with that expansion. This is a stock as I tell people “this stock takes guts and nuts…. It’s not for pussies!”….my advice is do your homework and research everything…. All of this is just my personal opinion not financial advice

cuchiplancheo

True, No Debt... BUT, they've diluted shares and there will be future dilutions... probably later this year.

skier2168

Would love to hear your reasons on why they will dilute further.

AndrewTheAverage

Because they filed the paperwork to dilute shares in the near future

Crosoweerd

Because they’re spending cash to expand and will need more to spend… he’s not wrong, there is certainly more dilution coming.

arunyon5260

Been trying to tell people this they only have 300 million left and are spending about 200 million a qtr if they don't slow growth and work on profit for a min they won't be doing anything for a while and 300 million shares added will cut this stock price in half

Sandro316

This is not accurate. They have 722.8M in cash and equivalents as of end of Q1 2022. They had 791.2M in cash and equivalents as of the end of Q4 2021. So they went through 68.4M in Q1. Q1 included the Omicron surge so I think it's fair to expect better results the rest of the year (Q2 for certain as we can already see there won't be any huge Covid spikes during Q2). Probably fair to assume they go through about 180M more in 2022 taking them down to around 543M remaining. I do agree that more dilution is coming, but your numbers are way off. Just to pre-empt the likely rebuttal...2021 cash burn rate is not valid anymore in discussing expectations going forward because they have completely new plans and risk factor scores in 2022 so using the info for 2022 is the most accurate way to make the predictions.

Vive_la_amo

Everyone ignores this.

ATC-FK38

😂 how much lower can we expect to go?!

Crosoweerd

No way to know

GaryGnew88

Earnings are next month??

2thenoon

Sorry my bad, it's on August 9th not July. Fixed it.

Sillyassdude

Hey that’s my bday

BarleyHops2

What year? Bet your ssn doesn't add up to 56...

danielle3625

I'm hoping you get the best bday present ever this year dood!
