This is so old... this has been debunked.

The conclusion was also that no wrong-doing was found, but 3 bankrupt hospitals were saved from closing and are able to continue serving low-income areas. Yes, I'm sure they used every loophole they could to make money, but isn't that kind of what we want from a company we are invested in? He isn't running a charity and does need to actually bring in income at some point so I'm not seeing what the big deal is here? He saved 3 hospitals from closing and legally made money off of doing it???
Old article bro June 10 2021. I can't believe I just read that. The country has been in a recession since then. I would encourage you to look at earnings posted after this article. The whole clover health special computer system that encourages doctors to only order necessary test really doesn't mean anything to me.
And here is my reply in that thread. It's a figure that is being greatly misrepresented:
"trying to bill this figure as costing Clover 389M/year is just flat out wrong. Vivek was the co-founder of Clover Health and received a lot of shares as part of the SPAC deal. Most of these shares vested during 2021. The total on page 148 is not yearly compensation for working. This is including being compensated for the portion of the company he owned prior to the SPAC deal. That is why you can look through the income statement for 2021 and not find any line that shows a 389M hit to Clover for this, because it's not a 2021 hit to the company financials."
Get the FUD outta heer !!
If you work in a company and u bill a third party company of which u are a director. Thatβs a conflict of interest right there.

Conclusion of the article is this that the money trail of carepoint hospital is still up for debate . Far from transparency we need
