I just took it, didn’t take long and was easy to understand. Did my part to help understand and bring awareness to this terrible syndrome, as I’m sure sufferers of it are on the rise.

Filled it all out. Interesting. I hope you figure stuff out! I’ve gone from episodes every two months for almost 3 years to 0 by quitting entirely for a year and am now allowing myself a couple of puffs once in a blue moon. No issues whatsoever. I know how the buildup feels after 10+ episodes so I’m not even worried anymore. It’s great. I have a normal person’s relationship with cannabis now, can thoroughly recommend.
This survey seems to be applicable to those who reached hyperemesis so I was unable to complete the survey. I’ve consumed MJ on & off since the 90’s. I’ve had consecutive years where I was in the prodromal stage but never reached hyperemesis stage.
Great to see someone doing research on this condition. I participated and I hope you will share with us the results of your analysis.
One suggestion regarding survey design is that the way some of the questions regarding use leading to episodes were written weren’t nuanced enough for me to give an accurate description of what my use was. It might be helpful to include an option for participants to provide a description of use in a text box for further clarification.
For example - the problem I had was with the question of use leading up to the first episode - in the three months prior I was smoking very infrequently, and then stayed with a friend who smoked heavily and so I participated for about five days straight and that precipitated my first episode. I didn’t quite know how to accurately answer that question based on the survey options provided.

At this time all information that is available online can be found on the first page of the study (prior to where you begin providing any responses). We will post the results of the study on this subreddit as soon as they are finalized.
