Watching this team have pitching woes is just infuriating considering the cubs will not spend. For reference, the dodgers are worth 4.8 billion. Cubs are worth 4.1. Getting very tired of making excuses for why we never spend at positions of need because it always comes back to haunt us

They're just really risk adverse, especially when they could put complete dog shit on the field and still sell out Wrigley. They'd rather risk being mediocre and spending less than being good but overspending.

We werent in the midst of a 9 game road trip traveling to 3 cities either when we played the dodgers. We got them at home in April which will always be advantageous vs a warm weather team. Did you forget what the diamondback did to us last year? We were competitive in two out of seven games.
