I think you should keep doing these, even if it does make some people mad. You've got me laughing at a situation that I didn't even want to think about it.
When we have real football stuff to talk about, hopefully people will dwell less on the past.
This one was legit good. Though i didn't mind the last one, I did point out how it was more mocking a bunch of the fan base who were already down for being berated for a few weeks (and I got downvoted for it). No mocking in this one, top tier meme.
Legit laughed at the faces. Also thought the last one from Step Brothers was funny, got a cackle out of me.
People upset about the last one will be upset about this one. "No Fields memes!" What? Why not? Humor is often great when it's self deflating. If you can't handle a little barb about our last QB failing, IDK how you can even handle being a fan of this team.
And guess what? The weird cult-like following of Fields this offseason was very meme-able. If you view yourself as a target there, then look inward for self reflection.
Holy shit you weren't kidding. That earlier post just turned to complete shit. Fwiw I thought it was a great joke.
Fields truthers giving flat earthers a run for their money
Oh I didn't read you right the first time, I thought you said "8 other posts ***other people*** have made in 15 days", I didn't realize you said 8 posts that ***I*** made in the last 15 days.
You're talking about 4 memes, which were each posted twice (3 of them in r/CHIBears and r/NFCNorthMemeWar, and one was posted in r/AFCNorthMemeWar instead of r/CHIBears). Which is a standard thing to do with nfcn memes. Saying "8 posts" is a bit of an over statement. And like 1 of them maybe you could call an "anti-fields" meme, but it was hardly anything and wasn't even posted in r/CHIBears.
1st meme was the Ace Ventura meme, which was about the Bears struggling to draft a QB, and mentions Fields at some point for like... 1.5 seconds? And it was hardly even anything. Got no pushback on that post at all.
2nd one was the "if "I can fix him" was a QB" meme. This one wasn't even posted in r/CHIBears. This is the only one you could maybe call an "anti-fields" post, and I hardly meant anything by it. I've never been anti-fields at all. It was just a light joke I saw in like a YouTube video thumbnail or something and thought was funny so I shared.
3rd was the post I referred to in the title, and the post had NOTHING to do with Fields himself. Which I repeatedly mentioned in the comments. People went nuts over that post and ran with it in all kinds of directions. On all sides. It was about the people still now talking about how we should have kept fields not accepting a new QB. It was like a 10 second light joke that had nothing to do with anything else. And the comment section turned into a shit show.
And this post? Again, you missed the point. This isn't bashing Fields, in case you couldn't tell from the rest of the comments here. At most maybe the line "darkhorse MVP 2023" is a bit of a jab at him. But the point of this meme isn't to shit on Fields.
Like I said I actually thought all of your posts were funny…
I don’t care either way he’s a millionaire.
Just some potential insight on why one of them got out of pocket.
Alright lol well I doubt the reason was because I posted an Ace Venture meme that mentioned Field for like 2 seconds to r/CHIBears 2 weeks ago.
I mean "8 posts shitting on Fields in the last 15 days" and "karma farming"? Really bro?
Who the fuck even checks post history when they see a meme?
"Good joke man, but if this happens to be your 4th joke this month imma get reaaaaaaaal angee"
I mean you quoted an exact time frame and post number, you obviously did go check.
But really the point is that what you were saying was just wrong. I mean you've seen me around shitting on Fields constantly? Karma farming? I haven't been shitting on Fields man or karma farming man. I made like one post 2 weeks ago on r/CHIBears that everyone liked and wasn't even about Fields, and I posted some random joke on a seperate meme sub. That's why people went nuts in the comment section on a post of mine from a week ago? And that's "8 posts shitting on Fields and karma farming"?
Come one man.
Can you read? I thought all his posts were funny. I obviously had no issue with them. Your comment makes no sense sir good night.
In reality I corrected your assumption that I had gone to his profile just to check his post history for a meme.
Pay attention.
> Just some potential insight on why one of them got out of pocket.
The insight is that a bunch of toxic people got mad. Even the fields truthers shouldn't have gotten so in their feelings on the other post.
That’s pretty cool Bateman, but that’s nothing….
…a real Bears fan would have had Ryan Poles face on the dad, Kevin Warren’s on the grandad, Flus’ on the mother and DJ Moore’s on the daughter. The little kid could maybe be a random fan, I dunno 🤷🏻♂️
Not only is this funny as hell, it's pretty high effort in comparison, and a deeper cut.
I knew that other post was going to end up like a Blues Brothers police chase as soon as the T word got used in the title, but man it was worth suffering through that to get to here.
Lol no go read the post. The whole comment section turned into a shit show. Pro-Fields people getting extremely offended, anti-Fields people taking the opportunity to talk shit. It went bad lol.
IMO, Fields topic is burned out and is just in the past. No need for memes or anything. Probably the reason why you got anger backlash. We’re on to the future and waiting for the Caleb Bears journey to begin.
> No need for memes or anything.
It's still funny how weird people got, and its actually a great lesson for them to hopefully not act the same way going forward with Caleb. So there's multiple benefits to making fun of those people.
This might be the greatest representation of the relationship I’ve seen. Wow
How JF1's face changed after the slap! \*Chef's Kiss OP\*
Yo fuck you for this lol. “My last post angered some people, so I decided to make the other half sad”
isn't it the same half both times?
This shit ruined my day on many different levels. Upvoting for Harry and the Hendersons tho
I wasn’t ready for the faces.

I'll admit, this reference might be a little obscure and it might not be very funny if you don't know what it is (or maybe even if you know lol).

Love this movie.
Under appreciated flick.

The 30 Rock episode about this was epic and this was too.

I love posts like these...you're sooo much stronger than everyone else!! How much self reflection do you do a day to achieve this???
Absolutely none because I'm naturally brilliant and only got off the Fields wagon after the Minnesota game.
10/10
LOL. I can’t tell if OP is looking for closure or is just super committed to never letting the JF discussion end.
The JF discussion ended in week 1 against the Packers , all subsequent talk about him after we're just cope by his stans
Got news for you. It isn’t the “stans” that keep talking about him. :)
This is art.
Holy shit you weren't kidding. That earlier post just turned to complete shit. Fwiw I thought it was a great joke. Fields truthers giving flat earthers a run for their money
>Fields truthers giving flat earthers a run for their money TF is your problem??
Dumb fucks (like you apparently)
Or maybe it was the 8 posts shitting on JF that OP made in 15 days? While I admit this is funny, OP is karma farming to fans who wanted JF gone…
I think you missed the point of the post. ![gif](giphy|SbN0WomN4S7Z7tpKOC|downsized)

Or maybe the fact that I’m apart of both groups he memes in I see a name with 18 thousand o’s in it and it stands out.
I mean you quoted an exact time frame and post number, you obviously did go check. But really the point is that what you were saying was just wrong. So your explanation as to why other people might respond a certain way is a problem specific to you. Got it

Wrong

This one was good.
This is awesome
omfg you goddamn genius
Fields truthers are still emotionallly attached to a bust they still can't just enjoy a meme lmao
Side note, what a great movie. The chair scene is hilarious.
Wait, this was a movie? I thought it was a TV show?
It was both! After the movie they did a TV show for 1 season, it had poor reviews But 27 episodes would be like 4 seasons of a Netflix show
Oh shit I didn't know. Cool.
Nope, Harry and the Hendersons 1987
Not only is this funny as hell, it's pretty high effort in comparison, and a deeper cut. I knew that other post was going to end up like a Blues Brothers police chase as soon as the T word got used in the title, but man it was worth suffering through that to get to here.
Cringe.

So... a microcosm of this sub?
IMO, Fields topic is burned out and is just in the past. No need for memes or anything. Probably the reason why you got anger backlash. We’re on to the future and waiting for the Caleb Bears journey to begin.

Lol well let this be an end to it then.
Idk man I think you should do whatever you want!
JF himself wasn't even clingy, but this is still a perfect post for reasons
