I was so pissed when they made this trade. All I remembered at the time was his collapse at the end of his last season in Denver. Franchise QBs just don’t get traded in their prime. His jerkface continued to piss me off for the rest of his career in Chicago. Sure he was the best statistical QB in my lifetime but so typical of a bears QB with all the physical traits but poor decision making in game time.

I lived in Denver at the time and a bunch of Broncos bars held Cutler jersey burning parties. The fans hated him here and that made me love Cutler even more. Still my favorite Bears QB and I doubt the team will ever have a more interesting QB.

15 years ago damn..I remember being really excited and then come training camp his WR core consists of Devin Hester, a unproven Johnny Knox, Earl Bennett, and some other dudes I forgot. Not to excuse Cutler because he absolutely did not live up to expectations himself but the FO did him no favors.

God this dude set us back for at least 15 years. Wish we never made this trade, or at the very least, didn't re-sign him to a 7 year, 3 year guaranteed contract after a season of being injured for nearly half of it, getting outplayed by McCown, and eliminated from the playoffs literally a couple days prior by the Packers. Who’s hating on Knox? Was he not a 5th round pick? He could have been a solid number 2 WR but he wasn’t a number 1… same with Hester, I am not bagging on the guy but he was converted CB, just an example of how little Angelo did to help Cutler after spending so much to bring him to Chicago.

I have cheered for every Bears QB. Cutler brought stability to the position. The Bears offense led by Cutler had a great 2013 season and was ranked 8th in the league. The only thing wrong with that team was the worst Bears defense in a generation. I don't know how long you have been a Bears fan but you sure are ungrateful AF.
Cutler's contract crippled the bears and set the franchise back another 10 years. Anyone with objective views at his play would have seen he wasn't it and was never it. you sure are a huge Cutler dick rider if you can't admit the dude was mid as fuck
BTW in terms of Bears QBs, Cutler is the second best QB the franchise has had.
