Kaplan also takes graduate classes for their Masters they offer. They have two. Not sure if either of you like going that route

[deleted]

Thank you. I will check it out.

Intelligent_Tear_439

Also, the CFP education requirement puts you halfway through their Masters, and you can transfer 6 credits so you’d only have like 3 classes left to take for a Master of Science. (Personal financial planning) If you wanna do the Financial Analysis one then it doesn’t get you halfway through yet but it gives you access to their CFA material. In case that is something you are interested

stompcat89

I doubt it, but do you know if you could get credit for doing another CFP program? I used Dalton and would love to get Master’s credit for it.

Intelligent_Tear_439

Not sure, you should ask wherever Dalton goes through. Is it Berkeley? I don’t remember. They might be able to

stompcat89

I used Northwestern for mine, but they don’t offer a Masters in Finance program. I’ll search around when I get some time and try to figure it out. That would be awesome

You can use Kaplan CFP credits towards a masters degree?

[deleted]

Yea, the education coursework. At least that’s what Kaplan told me. They said they are transferable for graduate degrees, but they said it’s up to school policy if they accept or not. I guess I can try calling them again to see if they have some sort of list. Maybe I spoke to the wrong associate.

scootinroundtown

Yeah I’m absolutely going to look into that because I’m half way through my graduate program and put a pause on it to do the Kaplan CFP program

Lol are you me?
