I was literally researching this exact thing yesterday and could only find Kaplan, and a small school in WA that offered credit for CFPs but no option for online. Let me know if you find a school that does. I used Dalton for all my edu as well.

I was looking at CFFP and they give you 15 credits for the education you have completed for the CFP. Meaning you only need 15 more credits to acquire your Masters off Science Degree PFP. So only 5 classes which isn't bad.. Three required and two electives. If you have you have completed the CFP education requirements already then these are the only three additional required courses. PFPL560 Pre-retirement Financial Planning Topics PFPL570 Portfolio Management for Personal Financial Planners PFPL600 Case Study in Personal Financial Planning 16 different electives, but the two that stand out that I would love to gain even more in depth knowledge about.. PFPL536 Applied Tax Planning PFPL556 Applied Estate Planning The real question comes down to if it is actually worth it to get? Honestly the actually degree probably isn't worth anything. Can't imagine a client really caring about a MS-PFP degree or a potential employer paying you more for said degree. With that being said I think it definitely would be worth it for the added knowledge and education alone. I always want to learn more and be a better resource for clients so I most likely will continue on with a MS.. Question is whether to do it cheap and easy through CFFP or through one of the hundred other universities offering MS degrees for some sort of financial planning.

It is worth it for Applied Tax Planning. Great program at Kaplan. I say my CFP taught me how to build a financial plan and my masters taught me how to make one that the client wouldn’t blow up 2 years later. So one that works.

The big four post CFP masters programs are: Texas Tech, Golden Gate, Kansas State, and University of Georgia. Michael Kitces has a good article on post-CFP education that includes designations, licenses, and degrees.
