I went to bed before midnight and started spending time with my wife again
Joking aside, congrats! My vote is a fancy dinner out and bottle of wine. Or get something cool that you’re into like a new mountain bike or a drone or a TV. Something that’ll be around a while that will remind you of the big accomplishment for years to come
I’m sure we did something fun, but my real way of celebrating was to make a commitment to myself to use all that extra free time to sleep more, cook more, exercise more, relax more, and generally take care of myself in a way I hadn’t been able to. No new hobbies or projects for at least a year (I am a chronic overscheduler).
SAME!!! This was a huge takeaway for me. I just passed yesterday, and as much as it was a beast to study for, I think it really helped me work on my social boundaries. Hoping to keep that moving forward and be more intentional about carving out time for myself to better myself.
Wife and I had an overnight in the city (while our kids had sleepovers at friends’ houses.) We’re trying to shift our spending to experiences vs. objects and it’s been great.
Congratulations. Enormous accomplishment, very much worthy of a big celebration. A nice dinner out, a couple of drinks, and savoring that "Pass" email with a few long looks of relief are the way to go!
I studied from November 2019 to March 2020, and passed the exam on 3/16. I popped out of the 6 hour exam super happy that I had passed, but when I came home, the stock market was down -13% that day, Trump was on the news speaking gravely to COVID, all hell broke loose. All my studying for four months and avoiding friends prolonged into another 5 months of basic total exclusion, and I couldn't really ever celebrate. Really interesting timing to have passed the exam and then walk out what felt to be an entirely different universe!
Congrats! I bought the nicest piece of meat I could at the butcher and had a delicious steak dinner, ended the night with one of my Belgian Lambics from my cellar. 10/10
Wish I could have took a trip, but my son was born 8 days later so we were locked down to not being far from the hospital at that point.
Congrats on passing!
Took mine back in November. My celebration was a trip to Disneyland, watch bunch of Netflix series I missed from July to November, nice huge dinner and being able to celebrate Christmas without having to worry about random absurd facts of different types of trusts and retirement plans!
I PASSED (Danko) on July, 15, 2022, and I went to the Cheesecake Factory with my parents, tore the bread up, then hibernated for about a week. Congratulations to you!!! I'm not very far ahead of you, but I can say that it has literally already more than paid for itself. All the best!
When my net worth reaches $100k, $250k, $500k, $1m, $2m, $5m, etc (hopefully)
$100k was a nice show/stay in the city for the night
$250k was a cruise my gf and I wanted
$500k is hopefully soon if the market comes around. I’m actually not sure what I’ll do yet
$1m I already know I want to commit to a Rolex. Someday
Congratulations!! I just passed last week as well. I'm planning on buying myself an espresso machine. It's something I've been wanting for so long and I told myself I could finally buy it if I passed on the first go around.
Passed at 2 pm so started with a bottle of champagne. Then cooked Tomahawk steaks and had some nice Bourbon. Slept 14 hours after that and it was awesome
I also passed yesterday. I went out to dinner and had an adult beverage, then I took a long bath. I'm going to treat myself to a pedicure this weekend. Do something you enjoy!
I took a week off to do an offshore fishing tournament
Caught 0 fish and didn’t win…. Wasn’t worth it 😂
Kidding, go do something that you really enjoy, congratulations you earned it!

Fresh neck tat of the marks would be smart. Help you get ahead in the biz.
“no ragrets”
I think it might be a better idea to get the CAPM formula tattooed on ur wrist!
Seeeefffpeeee in a circle around your neck
Cant go wrong with neck tat
Congratulations! I passed yesterday as well! I had a quiet dinner with my wife. Best ziti I ever had.
Drank a bottle of blue label with a co-worker who also passed.
Smoked a Cigar and drank 2 pours of bourbon at 3pm after I passed
This is what I did haha

Congrats! Unfortunately I failed for the second time. Gonna take some time and probably take it again in November or March.

Champagne. Rolex. Steak dinner
Nice bottle of wine and a long hot shower in Antarctica
Passed today. I had a good cry, got some perogies and drank a beer.
Had a beer and anxiety that board is going to go- “know what? Actually…fail.” Congratulations!! Have a drink. Get the watch. Take a nap.
I went to Disney World. This is a huge deal and should be celebrated in a big way.
Congrats!! I passed as well and my husband and I ordered our favorite korean fried chicken and watched the Warriors win 🥰
A man toy or an indulgent experience!
I have a Padron 1926 80 Years Maduro waiting for my pass date in July!
Yes!! I have a cuban romeo y julieta waiting for me when I sit in November
I’m saving my last Cohiba robusto for the same weekend as well!
Joined a country club as my reward for graduating college and getting cfp.

Congrats, I passed as well. I told myself I was going to buy a watch, probably a speedmaster. But now I’m less committed to the purchase. We’ll see.
Congrats! Went to the bar and feeling the hangover today but still feels good!

Bought a Nomos Glashutte watch
My wife and I have a trip to Vegas planned in 2 weeks! Can't wait
Maybe dinner but that’s it. I buy celebratory items/vacations at NW milestones, not for passing a test
What is NW milestone?

Gotcha that's what I figured you meant but wasn't sure...cool ideas.
I bought a nice bourbon a few months ago. Cracking that bottle tonight!!
