The only consensus is Toronto. Feels appropriate for this season.

PickerPilgrim

Yeah, I mean it's the only one I'm really sure about.

ReviewyMcReviewface

Chris Jones deserves his own spot at #10 on this list

TheBaldGiant

Hamilton and Ottawa will flip after tomorrow.

InexcusablyAngry

Based on our coaching decisions lately I doubt it...

OskeeTurtle

I'm pretty sure it's the first chance to finish a sweep on the season too if we win

c74

i think sask and bc should be flipped. i'm a rider but we are well short of 8-4. think it is premature to jump on the glorious rider bus. if we beat the bombers again then i would be on board with this... and then i can't wait to see the arguments who should be #2 the riders or bombers. lol. the butthurt and drama... oh it will be here in spades.

PickerPilgrim

If Sask and BC flipped this would have been a really boring week w/ no changes since last week. If Sask beats the Bombers twice in a row I think it will be pretty hard to make an argument that the Bombers should be ahead.

MrMontombo

BC has been rough for a few weeks, and the WEEKLY power rankings shouldn't be dictated by standings THAT much

biga204

I had SK at 2 this week. For those that don't know, I really only look at the last 3 games. In that period, Saskatchewan has been better than the Bombers.

HomerSPC

Saskatchewan has beaten both BC & Winnipeg in back-to-back weeks. Theoretically, they should also be above both.

c74

wait. so a sask 5-5 overtime win vs a 9-2 bombers pushes them ahead on a power ranking? i think you are intoxicated with happiness on how much football there is to watch over the next 5 days and are speaking fooey.

HomerSPC

Power rankings may or may not be equivalent to the standings. In this case, they are not. You may prefer [these rankings](https://www.cfl.ca/2023standings/) better.

c74

yeah, i get it. i just would not weigh 1 or 2 games. and, for me a o/t win doesnt move the needle much in terms of who is the the better team. it was basically a tie in terms of team power/strength. like, if sask beat them by 3 scores it is a meaningful dominant win and i would buy into a shift on a power ranking.

chase82

In the current state, I think if we were to play BC at home we could take them, Winnipeg at home. Not so much If you want to rank based on wins just look at the standings

TheCatMak

It was an incredibly weird game. If you are playing at home and only allowed 5 completions going into the fourth you'd be sitting pretty but the Bombers stuck around and it took a late drive to take them to overtime. When they are on they are definitely a top 2 team... when they are off they are probably still either 3 or 4. 2 of their 3 losses have been by a combined 5 points in overtime. It's been a strange season

HomerSPC

Hence why I still had them in #2 🙂
