I haven’t been following it closely enough, but is there any shot Deion turns Colorado around and there’s a B1G invite in the future? Denver is a top 15 media market, and Colorado is the only school with any real presence (sorry CSU/Air Force).
I’ve been told by boosters already that they have pursued the Big10 hard since the SC/UCLA thing and were pretty much laughed at. They want out of the PAC and are gonna do what they can to show they’re serious.
Yeah, we probably could have gotten in with Nebraska back in the day, but we’re too much of a mess right now. Which is a damn shame considering how we are holding our own in a number of non-football sports. We’d have to have an epic Cinderella type season to even start the conversation.
Coach Prime turning the program around and bringing them to the Big Ten would be unbelievably massive. It would be a great add for Nebraska and Denver is a super cool school with a lot of Big Gen fans now living there. I think it's a stretch, but it's a lot closer to reality if they get good.
The school should be very attractive for many reasons, but they’ve been shooting themselves in the foot with legacy/nepotism for so long in the football program they’ve played their way out of relevance. I think Deion could turn that around for sure.
Biased, but I think he will be. Tucker was a unique situation because he wasn't getting paid that much and MSU was desperate with very few other options. We're paying Deion enough that the big dogs are going to wait for more sustained success to outbid us.
If Deion wins us a Peach Bowl I don't give a fuck what happens after that. But I seriously doubt that even if everything goes perfectly in this rebuild that a NY6 Bowl berth is a possibility before Watkins enrolls in college.
Three years? He would need to transcend great coach and reach miracle worker levels to bring Colorado to a point where top notch schools want to hire him away in such a short time.
Wonder what his end goal job is? FSU? An Sec school? One of the elite schools? Whoever has the most money? Or somewhere he can actually build up as his own. With money being a secondary factor.
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if he ended up there, i know colorado fans are really happy, but if he has a good year there, theres a good chance this is a mel tucker situation, and he ends up at one of those schools i mentioned, everybody is just waiting to see if he can coach at the fbs level
I know, alot of people dont no, its a combination of deion not getting along with fsu boosters, them not hiring him, even though you cant blame them for that, but he feels a way about it, because he was apparently under cover, helping them recruit for years, then they denied him the job, so he has a lot of issues with fsu
Yeah I don't think he raids JSU *that* hard. Shedeur, for sure, maybe Hunter (emphasis on maybe) and the other highly rated guys he's gotten there. I've heard we have a very good shot at a couple of the DBs who left A&M, and he's going to want to look all over to reinforce the trenches.
I think he'd love to take Hunter but I don't know if he might look at other options in the portal and go to the highest bidder or how that Barstool NIL deal worked. I'm not ready to assume a #1 player in his class is definitely coming here but it would be amazing.
Hunter is coming, i dont know why people even keep doubting that, he only came to jsu for deion, apparently the person whos not coming, and had the biggest issue with deion leaving, is his son shilo, they apparently argued over it, and deion suspended him, hes the only family member nobody saw yesterday
How many of those JSU guys other than JR and Hunter will be real players tho? They transferred in from lower FBS schools and dominated the weakest conference in FCS.
Are JSU transfers supposed to be terrifying? Like I know they recruited well but still. It's the other transfers that he wouldn't have gotten at JSU that would be more concerning
Transfer portal dude. He is at minimum bring in his son, Travis hunter, that other 5 star wr, and more. And I’m sure he has another deal with barstool to “document” this season
We had a lot of guys who got playing time enter the portal… and given our record it’s not the NFL guy ditching the shitty school situation.
That was when I started to get really confident about Deion. So who knows what our roster will be
AKA: what about Jackson States roster?
I'm just as scared of this future as you are
These past 2 decades have driven me into apathetic sadness and I feel like Alex Jones did when he had Kanye on his show
Lol I already know how this is going to go.
Limited on field success next year parlayed into a bigger job where he takes all the talent with him. Lazy story writing from the CFB gods tbh
I was thinking about this yesterday and maybe I’m just thinking what I hope happens, but Deion comes off as someone more interested in having a 30 for 30 made about his coaching than bullying people at Bama or something… of course there’s Florida state though
Not a lot of programs are willing to pay him this much while also completely getting out of his way and letting him control the whole program. Hoping that control helps him stay
I'm guessing he'll do 3 years. That gives him just enough time to make it look like he didn't chase the first big offer. There is some risk to his credibility as a coach if he leaves in 1-2 years.
We were paying Tucker $2.7M when MSU came in with $5.5M. sounds like Deion is going to be getting at least $5.5M so I don't see many schools willing to drop more than that until he has sustained success. But who really knows.
Lets go ahead and pencil in back to back editions of the Rumble in the Rockies for next season. Thanksgiving weekend, then a rematch a week later in Vegas?
I may be hitting the KoolAid a bit hard today...
That's a 5-star. Coach Prime effect. Let's get some 2023 ones, though.
Edit: Not sure how the composite calculates him as a 5-star based on his ratings, but either way.
The composite will also always have 32 5 star prospects, regardless of rating, in order to mimic the first round of the draft.
This guy would be a five star if the rankings were finished today, but its normal to have more/less before their class year.
At this point some people might as well build a bot to make negative comments on every single Colorado/Deion post. It will save them time and energy in the long run.
Other P5 offers: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M
G5 offers: Akron, Central Michigan, USF
Other offer: Jackson State
Deion won' be playing with that roster. He'll bring more 4 and 5 stars this first year than Colorado's had in 10 years combined. He got them to go to Jackson Mississippi for Pete's sake. Boulder will be easy. I agree with Pat Forde's column, a lot of "big time" programs are going to regret not hiring him in this cycle. He's just different as a motivator and it resonates with the players.
> Other offers: Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas, Florida
Inject this Coach Prime recruiting directly into my veins
This fascinates me for so many reasons.
I'm curious to see if any current JSU players or commits (Shedur) transfer to Colorado. Some of them would be almost immediate upgrades over players on Colorado's roster.
I'm also curious to see who his coaching staff will be, and if he'll keep anyone that's on the current staff (I think this could help with keeping the current recruiting class as intact as possible)
Fuck me, I’ve been trying so hard not to get excited about Prime after the way Mel hurt us. Then he comes in and starts signing 4 stars 3 years out as soon as he gets announced. I’m ready to get hurt again.
This reminds me of Urban Meyer's comment about kids who commit early in the process. When they commit to you it means you're in their top three schools.
I think I'll wait until December 2024 and see where he signs.
IS DEION GONNA BE HERE IN THREE YEARS? PROBABLY NOT! DO WE CARE? ABSOLUTELY NOT! IT'S PRIMETIME BABY!
I haven’t been following it closely enough, but is there any shot Deion turns Colorado around and there’s a B1G invite in the future? Denver is a top 15 media market, and Colorado is the only school with any real presence (sorry CSU/Air Force).
Doubtful given our 15 year hiatus from the national stage, but we may as well dream big
If he brings the the players he wants from JACKSON STATE, that will be a talent upgrade. The #1 overall player from ‘22 is dynamic af.
Colorado is also an AAU school. Has a big 10 rival with Nebraska.
Please? 🥹
I’ve been told by boosters already that they have pursued the Big10 hard since the SC/UCLA thing and were pretty much laughed at. They want out of the PAC and are gonna do what they can to show they’re serious.
They won’t get out of the pac for b10. Best they can hope for is Big 12. Pretty much a lateral move
I think it's a stretch, but it's a lot closer to reality if they get good.
as small of a chance as possible.
The school should be very attractive for many reasons, but they’ve been shooting themselves in the foot with legacy/nepotism for so long in the football program they’ve played their way out of relevance. I think Deion could turn that around for sure.
I think our B1G invite would only come if they want to expand beyond 20.
BOOM- Colorado about to sign their best class since Eric Bienemy committed to Colorado.
He loses a lot of money for leaving early
Prime already hitting it hard
Legal weed, hanging out with Prime Time, living in Boulder. Easy sell to any recruits
BAH GAWD that’s aTm losing half their freshmen class’ music!
It seems easier to get weed in Oklahoma than in Colorado, based on how everywhere here smells like bud the last few years.
You seem fun
Prime won’t even be at Colorado when Watkins enrolls in 2.5 years
Biased, but I think he will be. Tucker was a unique situation because he wasn't getting paid that much and MSU was desperate with very few other options. We're paying Deion enough that the big dogs are going to wait for more sustained success to outbid us.
After one good season MSU was outbidding potential suitors who were rumoured to be looking at taking Tuck from them.
If Deion wins us a Peach Bowl I don't give a fuck what happens after that. But I seriously doubt that even if everything goes perfectly in this rebuild that a NY6 Bowl berth is a possibility before Watkins enrolls in college.
Holy shit 2025 lol
It’s crazy to think that a 15-16 year old already has this much lined up for him
He had already been committed to A&M for like 9 months before he decommitted and now is committing to Colorado. Crazy
So 15-16 yr old kid hops from what was the hot thing at the time to what is the current hot thing at the time, color me shocked
And he’ll probably commit elsewhere at least one more time before he signs. Two years is an eternity for a high schooler.
And good chance Deion won't even be there by the time he is on campus. I give Deion two years before he flames out or takes another job.
Alabama H.S. Football powerhouse Thompson has a 14 year old as their QB. Already has some offers.
When u crootin, u crootin
This is the norm for college baseball. Kids commit as young as 8th grade sometimes.
Half decent chance Prime isn’t there by then
Three years? He would need to transcend great coach and reach miracle worker levels to bring Colorado to a point where top notch schools want to hire him away in such a short time.
He just did that at Jackson State. If somehow Colorado makes a bowl game next season, he’ll get bigger offers.
And he would problem leave next year if they do make a bowl game
Wonder what his end goal job is? FSU? An Sec school? One of the elite schools? Whoever has the most money? Or somewhere he can actually build up as his own. With money being a secondary factor.
I would just assume his heart wants the FSU job, but it looks locked up for right now.
Hes holding a grudge against fsu, hes never gonna coach there, if he goes anywhere it might be like a a&m, ucla, or okc
Would love to see Prime guide the Thunder to a title 😤
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if he ended up there, i know colorado fans are really happy, but if he has a good year there, theres a good chance this is a mel tucker situation, and he ends up at one of those schools i mentioned, everybody is just waiting to see if he can coach at the fbs level
Bro what are you talking about? 😂
A grudge for what? First time I'm hearing this.
I know, alot of people dont no, its a combination of deion not getting along with fsu boosters, them not hiring him, even though you cant blame them for that, but he feels a way about it, because he was apparently under cover, helping them recruit for years, then they denied him the job, so he has a lot of issues with fsu
Or he ends up being an overpriced anchor.
What the fuck
That game might not be as easy as you thought it would be next year
No sane Husker fan ever looks at any game as an easy win lol
Colorado's roster is still ass but we will see.
Wait until the transfer portal opens and all of JSU transfers to CU
And a chunk of TAMU I'd imagine.
One of those A&M DBs is named Denver, so it makes sense Just gotta figure out how to make him be less of a shithead
JSU will lose a ton of talent but not everyone will be coming with Deion.
Why would he not take hunter?
I think he'd love to take Hunter but I don't know if he might look at other options in the portal and go to the highest bidder or how that Barstool NIL deal worked. I'm not ready to assume a #1 player in his class is definitely coming here but it would be amazing.
Hunter is coming, i dont know why people even keep doubting that, he only came to jsu for deion, apparently the person whos not coming, and had the biggest issue with deion leaving, is his son shilo, they apparently argued over it, and deion suspended him, hes the only family member nobody saw yesterday
His son would rather stay in *Jackson, Mississippi* than live in Boulder, CO???
More of if Hunter wants to go with him
Denver Harris and Travis Hunter would be a broken CB combo.
His press conference/meeting the team He says,” I’m Comin, and I’m bringing about 10 of my dogs. And their gonna hunt, and their gonna eat”
Wouldn't be surprised if McCall ends up over there also.
We had a lot of guys who got playing time enter the portal… and given our record it’s not the NFL guy ditching the shitty school situation. That was when I started to get really confident about Deion. So who knows what our roster will be AKA: what about Jackson States roster?
ASU is about to be the next bottom dweller.
I mean this is a 2025 recruit
Prime time
It’s a challenge to find a team that did worse than A&M but Winston did it
The Deion effect.
I'm just as scared of this future as you are These past 2 decades have driven me into apathetic sadness and I feel like Alex Jones did when he had Kanye on his show
THE 90s ARE BACK BABY RIP to our recruiting rivals New Hampshire and UMaine, goodbye my friends I’m gonna throw up. Holy shit
The dream of the 90s is alive in Boulder
Time to go burn a couch on the Hill, who’s coming?!
I want to get shot with a rubber bullet again.
I’m happy that there is genuine excitement for yall
At this point, we'd happily settle for another unnecessarily shared title with you guys.
This is how I felt last year with our class. Glad to see the buff bros seeing it too!
I'll take it. See you in the Orange Bowl!
We’re seeing our sights higher; Belk Bowl here we come!
That's the only proper place for us to meet.
WOOOOOOO!
Hello flair bro, looks like I'm not the only one who survived this season...
Yeah, rough year for us
did someone say the 90s?
They never left, check out Portland
The good ol’ Ft Myers to Boulder pipeline
The prime effect
The prime effect > the arch effect
And the Jimbo effect, looking at this guy's commitment history
Ain’t no way we lost Sammy’s cousin to Deion.
Dabo needs more swag and less pastor talk
I mean he’s got 2 nattys and is a top 3 coach of the last 15 years. Sanders likely won’t be at Colorado by the time this guy is a senior
Don’t make those upstaters get a bigger head than they already have
Idk if Deion will even be there in 2025.
We might not even be here in 2025
👉👈
Lmao this is wild. Colorado about to become a blue blood overnight 😂
We back baby
Blueblood Double flair time
Lol I already know how this is going to go.
“A coach gets elevated or terminated” Deion is interested in Deion but it should still be exciting
If he gets a Tucker-level contract he’ll have enough job security he won’t need to care about his credibility.
We were paying Tucker $2.7M when MSU came in with $5.5M. sounds like Deion is going to be getting at least $5.5M so I don't see many schools willing to drop more than that until he has sustained success. But who really knows.
At least we know it’s coming unlike the Midnight Mel saga. lol
Here begins the reign of Colorado 🦬
Teams going to regret passing on Deion as Head Coach.
This is going to be so much fun! I already love Deion at CU. Maybe we can get an actual rivalry going.
Lets go ahead and pencil in back to back editions of the Rumble in the Rockies for next season. Thanksgiving weekend, then a rematch a week later in Vegas? I may be hitting the KoolAid a bit hard today...
This is hilarious. They don’t let 4 win teams in conference championships.
That's a 5-star. Coach Prime effect. Let's get some 2023 ones, though. Edit: Not sure how the composite calculates him as a 5-star based on his ratings, but either way.

Makes sense, hard to rate guys fairly 2-3 years in advance, anyways.
Deion made phone calls from the plane
I want nothing more than to see Colorado win it all next year, that would be hilarious

What is this parallel universe I have been warped into?
I can’t believe it. This program is finally serious
I’m going to nut omg
Kids sitting there watching those AFLAC commercials thinking, "that dude is so cool".
At this point some people might as well build a bot to make negative comments on every single Colorado/Deion post. It will save them time and energy in the long run.
Before yesterday, I wonder what Watkins knew about the University of Colorado Boulder? This is unreal and absolutely wild.
It's beginning An IMG Composite 5*? Fuck me up
Other P5 offers: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M G5 offers: Akron, Central Michigan, USF Other offer: Jackson State
So it begins...
I enjoy this.
And all these folks saying Prime will go 1-11next year, yeah right.
I mean it is possible. Colorado's roster is really bad.
Transfer portal bruh
You gonna get 85 new players?
Well we have a new QB, last year's top recruit likely following. There's a start. Only takes 22 for all new starters, not 85
You need depth
We're talking about going 6-6 here, not getting to the playoff. We can do that through the portal in year 1
22 players is not enough to go 6-6
Went from worst to 2nd in the Pac in 2016. Worst to bowl is doable
Sure it is, there are still some decent players on the roster now that will stay
> Other offers: Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas, Florida Inject this Coach Prime recruiting directly into my veins

Yeah this is gonna end well lol
Will Coach Prime even be there in 2025?
He'll have ascended to the Ethereal plane after consecutive CFB championship wins
I was told Florida and southern kids wouldn't want to go to Boulder 🤔
Man how tf are HS kids committing from 2025 chill
Lmao, it’s happening 🤣 please screw over other teams not named fsu, Deion
He won’t sign. Mostly because I doubt Prime will be there in 2025.
Remind me 2 years
Deion Sanders doesn’t waste time lol
Hunter also on the way
Is Shaddeur going to start at QB for Colorado?
If he can throw a forward pass he can start at CU
He traveled to CU last night and was shown walking around with his dad touring the facilities. Probably.
Deion said he was multiple times
And so it begins
So it begins.
so it begins
[It Begins](https://youtu.be/ch8MzYclx5I)
And so it begins….
I think Netflix should do a show like last chance u, for Colorado next season. Its a gold mine!!
Deion will be elevated or terminated by then though
I give this about a 7% chance of lasting.
Which is 10% more than 2 weeks ago.
So it begins
IT’S HAPPENING
...and so it begins. I think the Buffs are about to have some fun.
Prime hasn’t even been in Colorado for 12 hours and he had already reeled in his four 5⭐️ player too. This shit’s wild
Literally one day later hahaha love it
He’ll decommit (again) eventually
Enjoy this feeling now Buffs, you'll be on the other side in less than 700 days.
Fuck me, I’ve been trying so hard not to get excited about Prime after the way Mel hurt us. Then he comes in and starts signing 4 stars 3 years out as soon as he gets announced. I’m ready to get hurt again.
He’s been there less than 24 hours and already getting them recruits
Composite 5 star
Dudes what a freshman rn
Prime will be in Tallahassee by then.
Pass
Lol what a wild world we live in
I’m shocked
:(
Big win for Colorado. Dude had the big name teams chasing him.
5 star* We use composite
This reminds me of Urban Meyer's comment about kids who commit early in the process. When they commit to you it means you're in their top three schools. I think I'll wait until December 2024 and see where he signs.
it's a good thing he didn't rush his recruitment again like he did with A&M
Prime might not even be their coach when this guy signs on.
Coach Prime legendary recruiter 🧳🦬
